I feel like we need one big thread for all of the news on this game... So, here it is.

 

 

Long story short, this is a rhythm game based on the Dragon Quest series by Enix. I personally think it looks amazing, even better than the two past Theatrhythm games made for Final Fantasy. I'm really hoping they include a lot of great music tracks so that it competes with Curtain Call.

There was a DQ anime? I need to watch that, that sounds really cool. I'm betting we'll just have tracks from the main series games, though. Maybe some spin-offs if we're lucky.

Yeah,the anime was pretty good,unfortunately though it got discontinued halfway through with a retcon so I recommend that you read the manga.....it's awesome trust me ^_^

 

Also,Theatrhythim FF curtain call had tracks from the Advent Children movie so it won't hurt to have tracks from the Dragon Quest anime

True, it's still possible. I'm personally going to keep expectations low in terms of sources, though. For all we know, if this does well (And I bet it will in Japan at least), we'll get a Curtain Call version of this one.
