It's currently super cheap on Steam. Is it any fun?

Point of reference: I didn't much like the main game. The superhero mechanics seem poorly thought out and the world map doesn't very well accommodate them, most of the new missions weren't a lot of fun, cars are pointless, story is pretty much a huge slog, yadda yadda. Does the DLC change any of that? Like, it seems like the humor is there, and I'm all for that, but new guns, powers, game mechanic changes, etc.?

DLC has the same gameplay, just shorter and with some different items

Personally I think it's hilarious (same with Enter the Dominatrix) but if that's not enough to push past the gameplay you don't like, don't bother

Hrm. I forgot about Enter the Dominatrix. And it looks like the upgrade pack is only $2.49, which feels like a steal.

Are both super comedy focused? I didn't like how the main game kept switching from being really silly and comedic, which was great, to trying to be serious, which is not great. But the gameplay's not so bad that I can't deal with it if the DLC's funny enough- I've put up with worse games for worse reasons.

well this one is basically a spoof of all those TV christmas specials, if the name didn't give it away. I can't really explain why EtD is funny without spoiling it though, but neither are serious, no

I suppose it was foolish of me to ask if DLC about Santa and a dominatrix are too serious.

firetruck it i've got trading cards to sell and approx two dollars burning a hole in my bank account might as well spend it on a game i didn't enjoy as much as i expected to

now to not play it for several months, if ever
