I heard this song on the radio and I <3 it! But when I looked it up there are a lot of people who sing it. So does anyone know who sang the original?

Thank you!

And, yeah, it's my new favorite. :D Step aside, Carrie Underwood!

... This song has been out for YEARS. How have you not heard it before?

And there's no comma in the name btw.

I did but my taste in music has dramatically changed. When I was little I listened to Rammstein and knew all of the lyrics even if I had no clue what on earth I was singing. xD (My fav song was Butterfly and I always sang to it, and now that I actually understand what I'm hearing, cannot believe I sang something so wrong when I was, like, six!) I'd heard the song and knew the name and stuff, but you know how the first time you hear something it sometimes just doesn't sound so great the first time, and then every time after you love it?

Nope, don't know the feeling 8D

I've had the same taste in music for years and Hey There Delilah has been a top fave of mine (along with Misery Loves Company, Boats and Birds is a new favorite, and Happy, which are all different styles ._.) It's a pretty old song from like 2005 and The Plain White T's got famous for it so it's kinda weird to see someone who doesn't know who sings it.

I know the feeling... sorta. I constantly change and find new artists to worship listen to. But the themes I like never change...

This song HAS been out for a very long time. If you look up Hey There Delilah at youtube the song from Plain White T's comes up at the very top, lol. It's the same with Google, with or without comma. Also with SongMeanings.

Where do you go to look this stuff up? I'm just wondering.

Usually Google or Yahoo and take links from there. YouTube's blocked by my parents unless they know what I'm looking up, first. My taste in music has changed dramatically. I used to only listen to rock, then I had this obsession with Hannah Montana when I was 9-10, and then I only liked soft, calmer songs, and now I listen to mostly pop or Christian type music.
