The Wolf Among Us was such an enjoyable game. Enjoyable as The Walking Dead. I'm really falling in love with Telltale and for the brilliant minds behind it.

On the end of Episode 5... Bigby does a connection between Faith and Nerissa, which kind of reveals to us, players/fans, that Nerissa is probably Faith or the other way around...

 

Did Faith made everyone think she was dead in order to get rid of the Crooked Man?

Maybe I'm just dumb, but I never thought too much about it. I assumed it was just a call back to the first episode and it made Bigby reflect on events (then he either follows or stays, depending on the player). I never even considered Nerissa might actually be Faith, or vice versa; if anything, they'll explain it in Season 2.

Yeah, which is what's known as a call-back. Writers do it all the time for emotional impact, it doesn't necessarily mean there's this huge conspiracy. And really, if Faith/Nerissa is smart enough to plot the Crooked Man's downfall that far in advance, why would she be dumb enough to give Bigby a clue to who she really is?

 

Which isn't to say that's not what's supposed to be inferred, I just never inferred it and I don't think there's enough evidence to say that's what the writers were going for. Like i said, Season 2 will hopefully make it clear.

The way I saw it was that Faith had died prior to the beginning of the game and the "Faith" we met in the first episode was actually Nerissa in disguise so that Bigby would care about Faith's death and start the investigation. The montage was Bigby realizing that Nerissa and the Faith he met were the same person, or at least that's what I had always thought.

yeah, they were the same person, glamour charm I believe they called it?
