I just watched the Kingdom Hearts 2.5 launch trailer and at the end of it, my first thought was, "God, I love this fandom."
And watching that video just made me smile and laugh and feel so happy in a way I haven't felt in a while. I love this fandom, I love Kingdom Hearts. I love that I've had the opportunity to be here on this site, to meet and talk to people who love and share a passion for this game. I love the people here who, even though ive never met, gave so much kindness to me over the years, and I treasure the conversations, the arguments, the debates, and the exploration of topics that have to do with this fantastical game. I just love this fandom, and I love its fans! You all are just so awesome!
The reason I'm here now saying all this is, a few months ago, I joined the US Navy as a Hospital Corpsman. I'll be leaving to go to boot camp in May, and after 8 weeks, I'll be leaving to go to my training school. This year is going to be just insanely busy, and scary at times, and just hard all around. And in the time I've had to enjoy many things in my life for possibly the last time for years to come, I realized something.
I realized how much I'm going to miss this place, this fandom, this forum, and playing Kingdom Hearts. I don't know after I leave when the next time I'll be able to get on here on a consistent basis, or play this game I love so much. So I know I don't leave for a while, but I just wanna say to everyone here, thanks for the great memories! Thanks for all the great conversations, and arguments, and rage debates, and exploration of topics. Thanks for fangirl/boying out, and sharing excitement and joy for this game through out the years. Thank you all!
