I will agree with those who say rehash if they do another remake on gen 1. Were people not satisfied at the attention XY brought to gen 1 mons?

 

Unless its something like GSC with 2 regions, then I find it very unlikely. Even then, I'd find it stupid as another region could've been used.

They could make a new games that celebrates the 20th anniversary instead of wasting their time remaking a game that's already been remade. Besides, we just got a remake of Pokemon Ruby/Sapphire. We don't need anymore Pokemon remakes right now.

I think it's because we've made full circle to the fact that LeafGreen/FireRed are now pushing 10 years old. We don't know if Game Freak are gonna remake Red/Blue for yet another time.

 

Personally the amount of love XY gave Gen 1, I'd rather not see a remake. They catered far too much to the genwunners in XY.

I think a Z version is highly likely rather than a sequel. What we don't need is another remake, especially not another remake based on the Kanto region. 20th anniversary or not.

A sequel to what exactly? If you're talking about Ruby/Sapphire than no. GameFreak should just move o ahead instead of trying to always please the previous gen lovers. I'm getting tired of all these rmakes/HD Remasters. I want to play something new.
