I haven't seen any threads made to discuss Yu-Gi-Oh! Arc-V, the most recent Yu-Gi-Oh! series, so I thought I'd go on ahead and do it myself.

 

To be completely honest with you people, I am thoroughly enjoying this series so far, and I only see better things to come in the future. Yuya Sakaki is probably one of the better protagonists of the franchise (better than how Yuma started out, that's for sure. ). And I also love how they have just about every type of Summoning Method possible (Ritual, Fusion, Synchro, Xyz and Pendulum) which provides a little continuity and allusion to previous series. All in all, the series has heaps of potential.

 

And before you go and say "Oh, Arc-V is crap. They're milking out the series way too much," just stop right there and give it a chance. If you have seen a little and you still don't like it? Okay then. Fair enough. Although I think this might be the last Yu-Gi-Oh! series we'll see, just because it gives that feeling of bringing everything together from the previous installments. And yes I'll admit, it does look a little "kiddish" but believe me, it's actually impressive. Even the plot is a little confusing.

This episode made me gain more respect for Allen after he was such a jerk to me Yuya. Also the guy REALLY reminds me of Yuma. Heck, when he used Fairy Cheer Girl's effect to draw, it looked like a Shining Draw to me. His deck is Anna Kozuki's deck and Sayaka's is basically Kotori's deck which was pretty cool. Amazoness support was cool to see. But if they got printed I doubt it'd change the meta lol still needs speed. And bro, it looks like we're teaming up.  :cool: We'll rek those twins!

Oh boy, 108:

 

 

So instantly as the episode starts we have Shingo and Gongenzaka defeated, which is a shame but oh well. Yuya makes reference to the dark being within him and Yuto which was nice. I'm hoping we get an explanation as to what that IS exactly soon lol. During the duel you see Shun is pissed at the Tyler Twins but thankfully Yuya convinces him and Yuto to trust him when he says anger isn't the way to go. Don't get me wrong, Berserk Mode is awesome! But in this case it would have done more harm than good. Entertainment Duels FTW! Btw I love how the twins were like "Oh, so pretty!" when Yuya played that Rocket Miracle card and Smile World. I watched someone's review on YT about this episode and they said it feels as if this arc is being rushed kinda. These twins were introduced only two episodes ago as these fearful assassins. And now it seems they've quickly changed sides. Yeah, Academia students should redeem themselves, but not have it rushed like that. Also that OTK was awesome! "Over 10000!" points of damage (Props to Sayaka ) I'm still calling it dude, the dub will change it to "Over 9000!" but I'm not sure how many kiddy viewers would understand that reference.

 

As for 109, the episode title does kinda have me iffy but I guess we'll see next week. And of course, Shun and I make a great team.

108+109 preview

 

 

So, the tag duel with Gongenzaka and Sawatari was done off-screen, but at least Yuya gave an explanation that Gongenzaka's deck functions on no spell and trap in the graveyard, which he shared with Shingo. The new cards were cool, especially Slow Life. The other cards can be useful, but Bad Reaction would make activating these cards a grave mistake.

As for the saga being rushed, maybe, but I prefer having that then a duel being needlessly long by force, making it boring. I do think they could have made the Syncro saga much shorter, and as a result, Xyz saga longer, as it was heavily dragged(Did we really need all these episodes of characters complaining about Commons vs Tops? They should had something like half an episode, not half of the saga)

The teamwork was pretty nice, as it did allow Shun to bypass Slow Life and for Yuya to do that OTK.

It was nice when Yuya and Yuto mentioned the being inside them.  

And lastly..."Sayaka, what does the scouter says about the life-points level?!

IT'S OVER 10,000!

What, 10,000?! There is no way that it can be right!" 

 

Now, for 109 preview... I do believe that Shun isn't going to get carded/die, but the title is pretty much a clickbait. "The Falcon perishes on the Battlefield" can mean plenty of things: Shun finds out  Ruri's whereabouts and leaves the Lancers in order to save her,  Shun mysteriously disappears, Shun is sent to another dimension, like in the end of the Synchro Saga. These examples are from the top of my head by the way.

Additionally, it is a tag duel, so should Shun lose to these Obelisks, Yuya does as well, and that means both of them are getting carded, which isn't going to happen.

-Dennis' carding himself was one of the most surprising moments in the show. His redemption was done quite well...unlike Edo and partly Sora.

-Cipher rank up magic was pretty cool as well.

-Generally, a cool duel. Dennis used only perfomage cards.

-Action cards only harmed Yuya here, which is refreshing.

-The episode got mostly had plot related stuff, which is surprising. Especially since when the new episodes were leaked, this was the only episode I got problems with.

-Tsukikage and Reira were hilarious.

-The other lancers are finally back, along with Crow. JACK ATLAS is still in the city though ;(

Bad(little nitpicky, but still):

-There is no catching up moment, at all. None of lancers of Reiji's group was wondering what happened after the synchro saga finale. Although this can happen in one of the next episodes.

- No one asked about why Shun wasn't with the others. Not even Crow(who, I mind you, is one of Shun's best friends). While being an example of the previous problem, it should be asked almost immediately, since it is much more important, so I will still have problems with it even if they do it in one of the next episodes.

- This reunion was anticipated for like 100 episodes. It was a little underwhelming though. I blame synchro

- Shun's new Xyz monster is pretty cool.

- I saw Little Fairy coming. Reminds me of Yugi using Red-Eyes Black Dragon when Jonouchi was mind controlled by Marik.

- I like that Ruri stopped herself from dragging out the duel. Knida bothers me that Rin didn't do that.

- Shun's a good duelist. He reduced Ruri's Xyz monster to three Xyz Materials so it wouldn't defeat him next turn. I don't know if I'd have thought of that in a duel tbh lol

- The preview kinda implies Crow and Shingo get carded but I don't think that will be the case.

Well, 119 is great, aside from a few things, but even then it is one of my favourite.

 

 

So, I will just start that I have waited for this since like 100 episodes ago, and it didn't disappoint.

The build-up for the duel was pretty good, but they should have showed that Shun is shocked by Ruri. Got lazy with animation I guess. Speaking of which, the animation was mixed...why the hell did they waste it so much on the much less important survival duel? It was pretty bad(some characters' faces in some instances, including mine and Ruri's. I didn't even pause the episode to notice it. This isn't Dragon Ball Super damnit) in some moments, and great in others(that Blaze Falcon sumonning)

But, back to the duel.

I'll start with the outcome . I thought, before watching this episode, that Ruri would win. Through the whole episode my guess on who would win changed, up until Shun summoned the new Rank 5 RaidRaptor.

As for the duel in terms of how it was scripted was also great. Ruri's Xyz monster is quite impressive, and her strategy was pretty good(she learned from the very best). I still want more duels for her though. We got new cards' for RaidRaptors as well. Cross Xyz is useful for summoning Rise Falcon after using Force Strix's effect once or twice, depending on the situation. And a new Rank 5 RR, which I am happy for, since not only its effect can be useful but it requires only 2 monsters, which makes rank 7 plays a lot more easier for RR users with Mimicry's effect. Action cards were only used once, but I didn't mind it because of the part it played in the plot.

So about the plot part. I didn't mind the use of action cards because Herr Doktor pretty much asked Shun to use it, and it is similar to the duel against Kaito, as was it once again used as the first part in both Shun's attempt to wake up Ruri and to show Shun's character development and how much he changed after meeting the lancers and Crow. The other, and the much more important part is the flashback about little fairy(and the way that they made Kaito give Shun the card was a smart move), as Shun didn't like to rely on others' power, and wanted Ruri to do the same. This opinion completely changed after the duel against Crow.

Ruri losing against Sayaka made me rise an eyebrow, because Sayaka isn't exactly a good duellist. Although there is the chance that she was used to be a good duellist, and unlike the other Xyz characters who became better duellists as a result because they had to in order to protect their loved ones and execute revenge, Sayaka became a worse duellist. So it isn't really a problem if that's the case.

Ruri, who is now my favourite bracelet girl, got a great  character development in the duel by her attempts to resist the monster, which ended up being successful.  We see how much Ruri cares about Shun- she cares about him . The moments through the enitre episode of her trying to resist the parasite, eventually succeeding, and the reunion after the duel were emotional and didn't disappoint at all. The advantage of it being a one-episode duel here was that it showed how much Shun struggled with it(2 episodes and the duel would last longer. Reaching low life points at an earlier point shows more struggling), which improved the scene of Ruri resisting the parasite.   

Now, some people who have issues with why it didn't happen with RIn. Here is my thoughts on it: I believe that the brother-sister relationship between them is stronger than Yugo and Rin's.

Sure, Yugo killed Yuto because of the misunderstanding, but that was mostly because of berserk mode, and not because he wanted to. He still cared for his friends even with Rin's situation.

That was not the case with Shun. He was ready to card Yuto when he thought that Yuzu was Ruri in the first time he saw it, just because he thought he got in his way.

He wanted to kill(he didn't say so, but it was heavily implied) Dennis just by punching him after discovering that he can't card him , because of how much he loved Ruri.

Additionally, before the attack Ruri had a good life, she was surrounded by people who cared about her and had family too. After the attack, her homeland was destroyed, and got separated from her other friends(I assume she had other friends besides Kaito, Sayaka and Yuto based what we saw so far). Yuto not being there to rescue does hint for her that something happened to him as well, and in fear of losing Shun, another person who is really important to her, after losing so much already made her resist the parasite. Shun is kinda right about her having almost nothing without him.

Rin's life started being crap because of the council's and the society stupidity. Academia only kidnapped her, and she really didn't lose anything in her life compared to Ruri. Since she lived in a society that no one cared about her aside from Yugo, she has a weaker will than Ruri.    

Lastly, the Doktor turned parasite off for a few moments against Yugo, which probably threw Rin off when he turned it on again.

Reo being bored in the whole episode was freaking hilarious.

Now, my main problem with the episode was that it was interrupted in the middle by the survival duel. Don't get me wrong, I love our Neo New Super Ultra Hyper Strong Duellist, but it should have been done after the end of the duel along with Crow finding him.

 

 

Hmm, 120 didn't do much for actual plot, but it was still enjoyable I suppose

So overall a pretty good episode. JACK ATLAS' trap was surprising, and Yuto finally makes an appearance again.

Calling it now, BB betrays the instructor, and will probably get Egao'd next episode.

Also new details about Revival Zero. I think he needs all the Yu boys carded for them to become one.

And 'except Akaba Reiji...' I think that Reo will pull a Dr. Faker and actually cared about Reiji all along..

121 certainly was an interesting episode. And I knew Gongenzaka wasn't going to be carded Yuto mentioning a "voice from deep down" is definitely the "dark presence" Meiru detected back in like episode 46-47 whichever it was. And Jack freaking Atlas was badarse just riding on the walls because screw gravity I swear if BB gets Egao'd... I'm gonna do absolutely nothing because I'e done my job

+The professor reactions were rather interesting. I fully expect another Dr.Faker type here.

+The entity that appeared above Yuri before carding Asuka looked like his dragon...I think now that 'the darkness' is actually the spirit of the dimensional dragons.

+Dat elbow strike.

-Asuka could have used a better treatment and should have had some more duels before getting carded.

-Shun didn't appear

123 dude... I don't know where to start...

 

 

Yuri used Super Polymerization... that was the highlight of the episode. It wasn't even part of that honour student deck, it was HIS CARD. I really think now that the card is present in this universe, it'll play a huge role in the story just like in GX. Also interesting to note is that in both GX and Arc-V, Super Poly caused a tragic fate to befall Asuka. I feel so sorry for her tbh, her character could have been handled heaps better.

 

But to elaborate more on the role of Super Poly, I think just like in GX where it was to unite the twelve dimensions, it could be the "key" to uniting the four dimensions. And most likely the dimensional dragons have something to do with it which leads me to believe that the four dragons must be fused in a duel. I think this all links to "Revival Zero". But that does leave the role of the Bracelet girls unclear... Jeez, all this episode did was add more questions to the pool.

 

Also, Haou/Judai and Chronos-sensei would be so proud of Yuri. :'D Speaking of him, I loved the portrayal of his character in this episode. At the start he reminded me of a player who netdecks a deck and uses it for the first time I found him kinda relateable in that sense. Perhaps the writers did it on purpose SHOTS FIRED AT NETDECKERS nah jk netdecking ain't a bad thing.

 

Akaba Leo's reaction reminded me of Yen Sid's. But yeah, Shun up there might have a point. He might very well be a Dr. Faker 2.0.

 

Pretty hyped for the next episode. People say Yuto may leave Yuya's body because of Ruri's bracelet but I don't agree with that since I believe it's vital to the plot that Yuto stays within Yuya.

One of my favourite episode, and the only one that isn't mostly focused on Shun(it does have focus on him though) or doesn't have Reiji's/Reira's cool moments to enter that category(or have a lot of plot details, like the episode where we get the dimensions plot twist).

So...Yuto changing's Yuya's deck to his own reminded me of the pendulum's ability.

Yuto changing Yuya's body to his own was also pretty cool. I think Yuto will get separated from Yuya in the future.

Reo is hilariously bored again, and was shocked about discovering that Yuto is in Yuya's body, and it seems he thinks that Yuto is what causing berserk mode, which can mean that he doesn't have that many answers as we think.

I got unconscious, but watch next episodes as I karate doktor to the death. Also that in the flashback after Yuto discovering that Ruri is my sister is just too good . I find it kinda cool that unlike Yugo and Yuya he only met Ruri recently.  

That rank-up was cool, also so many rape faces...

Also, the one who "helped" Yuya had a rapeface similar to Rin's. This makes me think that most of the people in academia are brainwashed.

I really love Yuto's reactions in the series, he got a great voice actor. A funny thing about him is that both him and Shun's VA also portrayed characters in the Super Sentai series. 

Also that preview:

Berserk mode with that dragon again. I still think that the dimensional dragons are what causing it, even more now...

Just some things I forgot about since I was in an hurry

EP 124:

 

 

First and foremost: YUTOXRURI SHIPPING. I think these two will redeem the other ambiguous romantic sub plots we've had in the previous series.

The theme music in this episode was amazing. Like all my favourite themes were used (except "Swing, Pendulum of Souls!" which I hope might play next EP).

Serena tasering Shun was just brutal like holy crap, calm your tits Serena.

Yuto completely taking over Yuya is so reminiscent of the manga. I think that may have been what they were going for since Yugioh manga and anime do have some similarities at the very least.

New PK support seems okay. The new Xyz is Rank 2 which doesn't really have synergy with archetype despite having a pretty good effect. That Rank Up Magic tho... yeah it opens new possibilities for PK

Leo reaction's are interesting to note. It is questionable how much he really knows.

 

Overall, freaking awesome episode. Can't wait to see Odd-Eyes Raging Dragon next episode! And new OP and ED too.

The song itself is okay(I prefer GX and 5D's final OPs), though I really liked how the lancers are introduced.

 

As for the episode itself:

I preferred 124 since it only focused on the duel itself, but we got plenty of information here. It was still pretty good.

Sora learned nothing from the duel with Asuka and his duel with me and uses Chimera's effect. I honestly thought Super Fusion would make an appearance by using Chimera's effect to Yuri's gains...

Normally, I would think Sora was going to get carded after he lost, but since a certain someone spoiled me about Yugo vs Yuri happening in the episode.... ಠ╭╮ಠ

 

Berserk mode seems to act as kind of a defence system against mind control. I knew it won't work thanks to the preview. Though that means that The Doctor doesn't know about Berserk Mode, and Roger did know about it. Which means that Reo trusted Roger more then The Doctor. Makes me wonder how much Reo is bored from The Doctor since he trusted a traitor more than him lol. 

So I don't think Doktor's plan to control Yuya will work.

Yuto got the same eyes as Yuya when Berserk mode activated...that's interesting. Though it might be since Yuya's anger was the trigger to activate it.

'There won't be another turn!' should become a meme at this point. That line is used so many times...

 

Now that preview:

-The worlds were once all united. Freaking called it since we first heard about the Arc Project. Personally I think the Yu boys were used to be one being, same for the bracelet girls.

-Reo's origin is that world(and maybe everyone else too and he is the only one who remembers that). The 'Pandora Box' Reo refers to must be the darkness inside Yuya, which I think is going to be the final villain.

 

 

125 review

 

 

New opening was pretty cool, but underwhelming for a final opening. Going My Way is still my favourite final OP after hearing this one. But the pictures used... Those two figures crossing when Akaba Leo was on screen... Yeah, speculations galore (Although I know the names of them 2 since I look at upcoming cast lists).

 

Yuya/Yuto vs Serena & Ruri conclusion was pretty good. Those Parasites just keep coming back... They definitely live up to their name lol. Odd Eyes Raging Dragon was amazing to see in action. I actually wondered how it would destroy the protected Parasites with its TCG/OCG effect. Turns out they added so it negates Spell/Trap effects in the anime. Always more OP in the anime of course. And it detaches all Xyz Materials instead of just 1. Had to balance it somehow I guess. I just have two words for that end: Get. Rekt. But honestly how did they get up as if nothing happened? That blast made a freaking hole in the wall. Also that face when Yuya declared his attack... it gave me chills.

 

Yuri vs Sora was as expected. Yuri is just too good. But ayyyyy teased Yugo vs Yuri duel >:} FINALLY. AND NO BRACELET GIRLS AROUND TO INTERFERE.

 

Shun has been down too much to count. I really hope he gets action soon.

 

The doctor's plans to mind control Yuya won't work at all That parasite got enveloped by darkness as soon as it entered his body. Clearly he has no idea about what lurks within Yuya.

 

Also Yuya finally saw his dad!

 

That ending was intriguing as well. We saw the same two figures from the opening. Gonna take awhile to get used to haha.

 

Finally... That preview. Shun called it and I had a feeling. The worlds used to be one but are now divided (Kingdom Hearts much?). Those animal are interesting looking. Does Academia have a zoo? And the four dragons... They were Odd-Eyes Dragon (not Pendulum Dragon), Dark Rebellion, Clear Wing and Starve Venom as you'd expect. The mystery surrounding them is still pretty great. But we'll find out next episode for sure. I'm hyped because plot!

Yu boys were originally Dragon Judai.

Ruri girls were Reo's daughter in the united world

The Yus and Rus are probably all adopted

Shun most likely doesn't know it, since Edo was about to tell him, but there is a chance that he already knew which is why he didn't want Edo to waste time saying that, but I doubt that.

Reira came from the united world, that much is clear now. His memories are extremely similar to Dragon Judai's attack. That also explains why he wanted Reo to stop- he knows all of it. So he and Reo are the only survivors of that world, aside from the split of Dragon Judai and Ray(Ruri girls' original form, as she appeared on the name scene as the next opponent of one of the duellist). There is the possibility that he is actually Reo's biological son(REI-ra). Reira was surprised when Reiji was angered at Reo for destroying Heartland after what happened from Yuto. Please let Reira win some actually important duels, please....

Reo probably gave birth to Reiji after the split or is just adopted(If that's the case, the abridged version...LOL)...though age became a problem...and Reo looks 40 years older since he doesn't have hair...also Yusho probably doesn't know that Yuya is adopted. Are these memories of the split world fake? He does have memories of meeting Yuya's mom...

Lastly, I kinda think that Reo split to worlds to seal Dragon Judai, but why does he wants to unite them back? That would mean bringing Dragon Judai back to life. Or the split happened on accident and he wants a duellist(Reiji perhaps?) to defeat Dragon Judai.

I think it is very clear that Z-arc is the main antagonist. Just his name is similar to Zorc's, lol.

The Doktor firetrucked up and is causing the rebirth of Dragon Judai...

Also the pendulum got something to do with Z-arc. When he was about to merge it looked like a monster being in the pendulum zone. Inb4 Dragon Judai is a pendulum monster...

Lastly, I forgot something.

This episode still lacked something very important...

Great episode, but a little disappointing. Not sure if it is better than last episode for me or not. I expected more details about Reira's origins, or how Yusho really thinks Yuya is his son and probably has memories of his birth. Most of the new information was known to us, but not to the characters, aside from the 4 bracelets. Still, I do wonder about the memories of characters like Shun and Yusho. Real Solid Vision was created before Yusho met Yuya's mom(I believe we see him on his ace monster in her flashback?), so I wonder how they think Yuya is their biological son.

Also, the pendulum wasn't mentioned even once. So Reo has no idea about it either...did Z-Arc create it moments before splitting up? Or maybe Ray created it as a means to oppose Z-Arc?

 

Reo carding The Doktor was pretty badass, even though I should have done it...

 

I honestly hoped that the duel would be Reira and Reiji vs Reo, so that is little disappointing as well. I swear, I am done with the show if the writers if Reiji lose and Yuya controlled by Z-Arc wins(I hate it when characters get the Kaiba treatment- losing any duel that is actually important for them.)...I still hope that Reira will get some more duels that aren't random OF/Security, because Reiji said multiple times that he has amazing duel skills but defeating 3 Security members is nothing special, even with half LP-freaking Sawatari can do it.

 

I really liked Reiji here(I loved how ever since 5D's the rival formula was changed into someone who poses a challenge to the MC, but helps him defeat the main evil group, so much that the MC couldn't do it without him. GX kinda started it, but due to it having 3 rivals, and because since mid-season 3 only Judai and Juan were important, it didn't really happen). It was obvious that he won't join Reo or betray the Lancers(I always laughed at the people who thought so), and he clearly hates him as much Yuto and I hate him, only that he personally knows him. He also shows how much hypocrite Reo really is- Z-Arc wouldn't awaken again without Reo's actions, as the Yu boys would stay away from each other. Reo pretty much disturbs the peace that his daughter created. I think that If Ray does come back, she will probably hate him for it. (and I am pretty sure she will come back- the question is if she will come back temporary and will be separated again or not) .

 

Also, I wonder what was the card Yusho was holding. Smile World? Or is that the new rank-up in the title of 128? His ace card that we will probably see its effect in the last duel? Could be Dennis as well

 

Lastly, I didn't even appear in this episode...time to call my fans...

• This episode confused the sh*t outta me. Yusho is implying that their past memories after the dimensions split are all fake, like what?
• It pretty much is all Leo's fault that Zarc is about to reawaken. Had he just honoured Ray's sacrifice by taking care of Serena at the very least and left the dimensions alone none of this would have happened. History is pretty much repeating itself at this point.
• NEW DDD SUPPORT. That spell card that seals summon methods. So broken.
• Called it that Spirit Tech Force was part of Leo's archetype Though his deck according to the wiki is called "Spirit Crystal." Kind of a missed opportunity that it isn't BBB or EEE And he Pendulum Summons... yeah I don't know what to think at this point. But maybe he saw Dennis using it and copied it just like Reiji did with Yuya.
• Episode ends just as Yuya is about to OTK Leo, but based on the fact that Leo has a set backrow and the preview, he won't lose.
• Preview looked interesting. I'm not really sure what to think of it. But the title is intriguing.

Pretty much the best episode out of all the episodes that came out after Leo's explanation about Zarc.

 

So lets see...firstly it was nice seeing the characters from the other dimension react to Zarc appearing. Academia's residents realizing what their actions have caused was okayish, mainly because that while there are duellists that fought for Academia for ideals, with Edo being the most extreme case, some of the duellists fought just for fun, like Sora. I don't like how the writer act like he did it for ideals or anything, or ignore the details of the flashbacks we got from Yuto and Shun, with only named Academia characters being like that, and the Obelisk Force.

Speaking of which, wtf happened to the Obelisk Force in this saga?   

 

Leo firetrucked up with Ray, as usual. Serves him right for what he did to Ruri and Serena.

Reira called Leo 'father.' Could be that he just considers him part of the family even though he didn't raise him, or that he was Ray's bro in the united dimension (I still hope that Reira's origin is the united dimension)

Seeing Edo and Sora was pretty nice. Kinda funny considering that for both of them, their heel-face turn could have been done better.

 

Now, for the duel  itself:

• Zarc, unsurprisingly, is using the servant archetype. I still don't know how Leo used pends though.
• Zarc itself as a boss card, and his deck as a whole, is actually pretty weak compared to the previous 2 final villains. Granted, he will probably receive a card upgrade in the anime(As in, an upgrade to Zarc)
• Honestly, I am not surprised by Z-arc's integration summon. Though the fact that he has a rank as well can also be a weakness, like RUM Revolution Force. #Rank13RR
• Edo destroying the monsters instead of the scales...just why.
• I actually expected new cards from Sora and Edo. Sadly we didn't get that.
• Kaito and I saved Edo and Sora from getting killed by Z-Arc. This duel is going to be Zarc vs duellist from the same dimension in 4 rows isn't it.

Sora giving the pendulum to Shun was a nice moment, showing both their character developments(Even though Sora's could have been done a lot more better). Sora and Shun's rivalry is the best rivalry in Arc-V, it is by far better than Reiji vs Yuya's, and kinda feels similar to the rivalries of the MCs and the Kaiba version of the previous YGOs, so seeing them interact is always nice. The ending of the episode was awesome too.

Lastly, some people wanted Edo and Sora to die, but I disagree with that. Since Zarc would just kill them, it means that they couldn't be brought back unless they do something like what Zexal did, which I am heavily against. Yes, carding is reverse-able, but in this case, it would just be a regular death.

The only option that remains is that the characters remain dead and are not brought back in the ending, and that will never happen in a YGO series.

I do have problems with how they just killed off the Ray girls however. 

Now for the preview...

Looks like we are getting a new Dark Rebellion monster. I really hope that Shun will use Revolution Force again in an attempt to bring Yuto back... I wanted him to do it against Ruri, but it fits the situation here as well.
