I heard that there was an original ending for DDD that was not approved by the staff that were scrapped what was the original for DDD that got scrapped cause I also heard a version of that Nomura originally wanted Sora to stay in a deep sleep at the end of the game but that Disney thought it was to dark. Is it true

The idea that Disney is some dark looming shadow hovering over KH waiting to pounce on anything that might scare the children is a myth

the fact is that Disney doesn't CARE enough about KH to take action unless it defamed one of their own characters

Anyways, here's the quote:

—Will the ending of this title also be a heart wrenching one?

Nomura: The ending for KH3D is a little unusual, the plan up until now had been different… But every once in a while I think, it’s good this way. In fact, the first ending I thought up quickly became no good due to various circumstances, but now the ending is something that I worry quite a bit about. As a result, we tried to do something unique for the ending this time. Incidentally, the secret movie will be shorter. Though it is short, like the Re:Coded secret movie, it will connect to the next shocking developments in the series, so please look forward to it.

I believe there's another interview at some point that claims the original ending was too confusing? But don't quote me on that, I couldn't find it with a google search

Gotta love them commas.
