Way to almost break the camera Trini. Wonder if there going to bring back the original actors to voice them?

Didn't like this franchise as a kid...but I gotta admit, it works SOOOO much better as a animated production. And I agree, I'm getting a tv show vibe from it too!

Well the actress who played Trini died around 2001 I think and JDF did say he's in talks with Saban to help with the production with the movie.

When did that happen I didn't know she pass away.

She was in a car crash when she died. Also, some of the original cast didn't like Saban because back when they we shooting, Saban didn't pay them enough so they left.

oh then some would need new voices well lets hope Tommy appears in the film.

Well shit, I didn't know this was going to be animated...

But yes, Trini, I do like the new look. :P

Yeah, I'm not sure how believable this is I've been following the news on this and from what I read it was supposed to be a live action film with Lionsgate handling it. It looks and sounds official, but it goes against everything I've read.

Edit: Okay, I see the confusion. This is NOT the same film reboot we've been hearing wipers about for the last couple years, the one known as MMRP. That is a fan project while this is official.

Wait which one is the fan project this one or the live action one, because I thought the new Power Rangers film was also going to be live action because that's what I heard.

The live action one is the fan project.

Edit. Okay just did some more research.Power Rangers: Origins (this one) was an animated film by Saban that was supposed to release in 2012 but got cancelled.MMPR (the fan film) was supposed to come out last year but we got one trailer then nothing else.

The Lionsgate Power Ragers film is separate from both of these ans is currently sceduled for release next year, which means we'll likely get a trailer for it later this year. Here's the trailer for the MMPR fan film.https://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=EOm14z7cOW0&x-yt-cl=85114404&x-yt-ts=1422579428
