March 24, 201510 yr Author I'm not surprised after Pokemon Black and Blue Yeah. They're complete laughing stocks now.
March 24, 201510 yr I don't want to be that guy, but the cages could be bigger.I think that's the only problem. Still. PETA goes crazy over Owls just sitting around.

March 24, 201510 yr I agree, the exaggeration is fierce and doesn't help their case. PETA's "cause" is hypocritical anyways. They harm most of the animals they take care of, due to space (and possibly other reasons). Yeah, most of the them are slaughtered due to space issues. I mean I understand how space can be an issue, but seeing as they got crazy over things like this and other people slaughtering other animals for their own reasons, is really hypocritical. Yeah, and that just pretty much blows the argument out of the water.
March 24, 201510 yr I love owls and understand their concerns [flash photography is like one of the worst things you can to do a naturally nocturnal creature], but I hate how that organization's name is mentioned in the article. Now it's just a laughing stock and no one will take it seriously, despite valid concerns.
March 26, 201510 yr Pretty much what Javelin said. And the same happens in this thread. You guys are more concerned about the fact that it's PETA who said this instead of the actual problem at hand. These Owls are petted by multiple people at a time, photographed every few minutes and their cages are way too small. They are infact, in distress. PETA's concers are usually genuine about the animals, it's their actions that are bad and borderline stupid. (euthanizing animals because they have nowhere to put them) However that doesn't mean we should shrug off what they say, it's just that if someone decides to help those animals they must do it as far away from PETA as possible.
