So this will be the General Topic of Shin Megami Tensei x Fire Emblem/Gen'ei Ibunroku ♯FE. For the first post of this topic, I have a video by GameXplain who might have found Tiki in the latest trailer of the game. So we now have some sort of connection to Fire Emblem.

There is also Chrom as "Dark Chrom" and the main character could be Marth.

Lyn and Severa was kind of seen there too.

And the red hair guy might be Cain from Fire Emblem.

All I have to say is this is nothing I thought it was going to be when they first showed the teaser trailer back in 2013 I believe, while there seems to be a lot of connections to Fire Emblem there was almost nothing in that game that made it seem like it had any connection to SMT.  A lot of people are comparing it more to Persona rather than SMT, while Persona was originally a SMT side game it has now become it's own series, and going back to the first trailer we saw it showed the main male and female characters of the SMT games.  I thought from that trailer it would be like how Persona Q was where those characters would somehow end up being in the same place from different times and worlds trying to solve the problems and such but after seeing this trailer, well now I'm not so sure.  I will give this game the benefit of the doubt you can't really judge a game by the first trailer, also I haven't heard anything bad about an Atlus game or a FE game so we will just have to wait and see, that and it's also for the WiiU so it won't affect me that much since I don't have one.

SMTxFE producer says it was challenging to add "Fire Emblem" aspect

Honestly I'm pretty excited for this game. It's not what I was expecting (which is probably what most people were expecting), but honestly this looks more fun than what I had in mind. I love the vivid colors, and honestly think the original plot is going to be better than whatever the excuse plot they were going to use to cross over the characters was going to be.

And here we have the official E3 trailer of SMT x FE and it looks like Nintendo is starting to use the Japanese name!

New info! The main game and side quest/extra content will take about 30 hours each, so in total the game should take around 60 hours to complete. The game will have both heroes and villains from the following Fire Emblem games: Shadow Dragon, Blade of Light, and Awakening, and more might be revealed in the future. The current status of the game is that it's being balanced and bug-testing mode and still plan on releasing in 2016.

No talk about characters from SMT games, well when this game was first announced I was going to get it (Until I learned that it was for the WiiU) but now I'm glad I don't have a WiiU because this isn't how I would imagine an SMTxFE game to look like especially with how the the first announcement trailer was

Well when the first trailer came out, they had little to nothing done. I believe either the producer or the director of the game said if the game would be strategy based, Intelligent Systems should have been more involved and take control but since it's Atlus working on it, they used what they know best and used their system but also incorporate FE's weapons triangle along with the SMT elemental weaknesses. And the FE characters are in the game are basically either the Demons that the main characters summon/fight like in SMT or reincarnations like Tiki.

So, we got a box art for SMTxFE(ain't putting the real name cuz it's freaking long !) and a Japan release date, releasing December 26th! First print copies will have DLC costumes for the characters from different Atlus games like SMT IV, Devil Survivor 2, Persona Q, & Etrian Odyssey. If you'd like to see more info, check it out here.
