Hey guys, so some of you might know that I don't have a PS3. When 1.5 was going to come out, my PS3 got stolen. Now I'm really determined to get another PS3 because I really want to play the Remixes.

My problem is that I have zero money. My plan was to go to a flea market, and try to exchange my PS2 and possibly my old Xbox 360 for a extremely cheap old hopefully backwards compatible PS3. I don't care if it looks like it got hit by a bus. As long as it worlds I'll be happy. Do you guys think this could work? And do any of you have any ideas on how I could find a really cheap PS3? I'm looking for at the most a hundred dollars, but even then I don't think I'll be able to get one at that price. Would pawn shops be good too?

Jeez, it's like whoever stole your PS3 KNEW that 1.5 was coming. Anyways, I suggest looking for garage sales in your area. You can often find something there. But yeah. That's all I have for you, I'm sorry I'm not much help. >.<

Peace!

Garage sales, maybe even church sales (if any churches do that in your area), perhaps you could even get one from a friend who is looking to get rid of theirs. You might find something cheap on Amazon, ebay, or craigslist from third-party type sellers, but don't get your hopes up on finding anything too good.

Craigslist is your best friend at the moment.

that's how i got my ps3.

i bought an original, beat up ps3, 20gb and backwards compatible.

1 week and $137 later, i have a reverse compatible, cleaned, and fully-working 1TB ps3 and i haven't been sad ever since

eBay, Amazon etc.
