Reason 1: It shows some of the more unappealing sides that humanity shows when in times of stress.

 

Reason 2: The monsters identity is not revealed, which makes it that more scary.

 

Reason 3: It's a bottle episode

 

Reason 4: The way the creature imitates people is just so creepy

    I've seen a few scattered episodes of Doctor who here and there, I remember an episode with those stone angel thingies that move in the darkness...damn they gave me nightmares
