Story:

No one knows what happened, how it happened, or why it happened. All that matters, is that the world we all grew to love is now a complete wasteland. Nothing but dust and dirt as far as the eye can see. 90% of Earth's population has been completely eradicated. The rest have become mutants - mindless monsters that will kill anything they see. These mutants are being led by Hybrids: mutants that have retained their human minds, and hold deadly powers. Only 7 teenagers from various corners of the, now, lifeless world have escaped the blast alive. It is up to them, now, to piece together what has caused this worldwide devestation, defend themselves against the wrath of the Hybrids, and find a place where they might be able to rebuild their lost world.

 

Though they have not met yet, the destinies of these 10 people have already been tied together, to forever be recorded through history.

 

Rules:

1. No godmodding. Your characters have to take hits every now and then, and you can't go apes**t on everyone and defeat all the enemies in one post.

2. If you're going to kill another character, make sure you have the user's permission.

3. Language is permitted, but don't be going curse-crazy for every post.

4. At least four lines per post, alright?

6. Just so you know, this will begin 1 year after the event.

..hmm my name is zen..i have no last name anymore am i all i have..my clan name is nothign anymore.....all i have left his my name and my sword...where all that's left of our old life..but this is all i have left all i can do is kill to kill detory anyone that trye's to fight me..and never look back...that's how you sirviv in this world it's ether be weak and die or be storng and live to see another day...i dont even remebr the last time i seen daylight it seems's like it never come's and i live in a world of darkness...and in this world you have to be feelingto kill everthing.

 

zen was sitting on a detoryed buidling looking up and the darkness he griped his sword more in his hand he had a cold look in his eye's it was like he was unfeeling anymore......my life is nothign now all i have is to kill..he looked down then hit a backfilp landing on the buidling then he jumped down it was like he was diving into teh gorund but when he got ot the bottom he landed on his feet he had his hand'sin his pocket and started walkign

Peter walked through the endless dessert that was now the planet. No matter how far he looked, the dust, dirt, and destruction never ends. Peter looked up at the bright yellow sun in the middle of the sky. Hard to believe that it's been a year already. Peter continued to tread on forward, walking for miles. By now, Peter guessed that he was in Europe, for he had never stopped walking since the world 'ended', but there was no way to be sure. Peter loked around again. Still no one. I won't believe that I'm the only human still alive! Filled with a fierce determination, Peter continued to walk onwards.

Tomas now back in Italy gazed over the sunken remains of the once glorious city of Venice. Tomas then heard a rare sound. The sound of footsteps. He took out his sharpshooter guns just in case and started walking towards the sound. Is there someone besides me alive? Maybe we could together find others. Tomas said assuming this man or woman was a good person.

Ashton walks into the main quarters for the Hybrids. Quiet day today. No humans to hunt down, surprisingly. A stroll around the mutant labs would be a good time waster. Ashton stops at a double door, and looks straight into a red light. "Hybrid detected and authorized." The doors swing open, and Ashton walks into a laboratory full of strange creatures. Scientists were injecting some sort of drug into them. The mutant population grows. Ashton regards each scientist as he walks down the lab, administrating over what they are doing. Before he can open the exit doors, an alarm goes off. "Humans detected, humans detected. Multiple humans scattered across the world." Ashton can't help but smirk. I guess I will have a job today.

Ushiwaka was in Italy. He heard something. It was no doubt just the wind blowing. He had gotten his hopes up too many times to believe it was something else. He kept walking. He heard it again. This didn't sound like the wind. "Hm?!" He whispered. He stopped walking. Footsteps. Other than his. A very unusual sound. He ducked behind a rock, and had a grip on the handle of his sheathed Katana, which was strapped to his back, just in case.

Peter kept on walking, losing hope. Suddenly, he heard what sounded like movement. Quickly, Peter pulled out his sword and pistol, keeping them both at the ready. Living in this nightmare had taught him not to get his hopes up, for any sense of movement was probably a mutant coming to tear him apart. Peter's breath quickened as he looked around. "If you're a mutant, leave now! You hear me?!"

 

As strong as Peter was, mutants were very dangerous, known for their speed, power, and horribly disfigured bodies. Should you encounter one, unless you had no choice but to fight,, your best bet was to run away.

Zack was in ireland vistiting the remains of his old home remembering the day this all began when the explotion happened and when the hybrids came it seemed like it happened your ago for the amount of distruction every where and then zack heard a defaning roar he drew his swords ready to take down any hybrids that came his way

Peter soon heard shouts of joy in Italian then in english. " Mi pepuino! My friend! Long have I waited to see somebody alive!" Tomas appeared in front of him with his guns by his side. He smiled at Peter. tomas couldn't remember the last time he had smiled. Becuase maybe this was a glimmer of hope for other survivors.

As Zack steadly walked towords were he heard the roar he had his swords at the ready then from behind him he heard a bark he turned around and saw a dog zack was amazed when he saw the dog because it had not mutated or anything and then when zack was distracted a hybrid jumped out of te ruble of and old build tryin to catch zack by saprise but then the large dog charge and took down the hybrid then zack said "i guess thats way they call dog mans best friend u know what boy ill take u with me and ill call u Leon" after that zack walked over to a near by car a hot wired it then said "it time to get out of here leon lets head to the pier and head for england"

Peter looked at Tomas, not ready to put down his weapons yet. This was the first time in a year that he'd seen another human, so he wasn't completely ready to believe it at first. Keeping his pistol and sword at the ready, Peter gazed at Tomas. "...who are you, and why are you here?" Peter's breath began to pick up, wondering if he had finally found a survivor.

Yazaki (seriously, I think I'm crazy, where did I take that name from?) walked through the wasted land holding both of her pistols, she used all her senses to try to find any survivor. Time didn't matter to her anymore, she couldn't remember how many time it was since she saw a living human being or even who it was, all her forces were directed to surviving, a difficult task in that planet that she didn't think as her home anymore. She could hear sounds far away from her, but she wasn't able to recognize if they were humans or hybrids. She walked slowly to the direction where the sounds came from, finally she could recognize human voices. But her feelings didn't change all she did was approach and observe.

Ashton walks out of the lab, and into the room right next to it. The sign above the door read "Transportation Chamber". Several white pods were lined up against the wall, and Ashton got into a pod to his left. The pod was covered with white padding, and had a dial with 9 numbers on it on the right. Ashton typed in the coordinates 9-9-6-0-7-3-2-3-1, and the pod flies through a opening in the roof. Ashton looks out of the pod window, and enjoys a 10 second view of the soft, white clouds, before his pod takes a dive towards the ground. On a built in GPS in the pod, two red dots appeared right under Ashton. The pod crashes, and Ashton hops out and sees two humans interacting with each other, both male. "Humans, prepare to be either enslaved, or killed."

When Yazaki finally approaches the other humans she hear she notices another being, it was a hybrid. For her wild nature she would usually try to kill her, but that didn't work very well the last time and the wounds given her by the hybrid took way too long to heal, she thought it would be better to keep a distance, but if the other humans were in danger she would surely act. And this time she wouldn't let the hybrid live.

when zack arrived in england the first thing he did was head for london along the way he ran into many hybrids and now with leon at his side he found it alot easyer to take them down because leon could smell a hybrid from a mile away. when zack arrived in london the first thing he notice was all the distruction the distrution in ireland was nothing compared to this big ben leveled to nothing but a few bolder apartment nothing but dust but zack only had one thing on his mind could e find some food i this desamated city but ack new it would be no use but he knew if he could get to main land europe he might be able to find at least one city that was not in rune find food our maybe even other savoivers zack knew it was time to give up on ireland and england he was the only survior of the distruction that had happened there well beside leon but he knew he had to go so he headed off to the english channel the where the only thing left connecting england to main land europe remainedso zack and leon head for france

A voice rings in Ashton's ear as a third human approaches. Kill them, Ashton. The voice was soft, yet influencing. Do not get angry, do not get angry. "Come with me humans, I do not want a struggle." Ashton grips a small pole that is attached to his belt, and he pulls it out. He presses a button, and a long, blue wire comes out of the pole, cracking with electricity. "I don't want to have to use this." He slams the electric whip on the grass, trying to cause intimidation.

Does he think we are dogs? Yazaki thought standing right where she was, she didn't make a move. That hybrid wasn't intimidating, and the others weren't either, but she didn't know his strengh. She stared at him with her red eyes feeling the wind on her skin, that was just a typical day, what she always wondered was why the hybrids wanted to kill the humans so badly. She didn't know what harm they were to them since the dominants at that time were the hybrids.

zack had left france and was now it italy wondering around still looking for food when Leon started barking like mad zack said "what is it boy" zack stops the car and looks out the window in the distance he can make out what looks like a huge group of hybrids then says "Leon calm down we'll go around them but we cant let them see us we cant take that many hybrids alown theyd rip us apart" then zack looks i front of him and see a type of hybrid he had never seen before it looked like it had mutated alot more then most of the others so zack knew this hybrid would be to dangers to let get awa so zack got out of the car to take it on

Ashton...the girl is being defiant. Attack her. No. Oh, you will. Ashton growls and stares at the girl intently. "Do not defy me." His voice had a different tone to it, like someone else was talking at the same time he was. He takes a step towards the defiant one. "Follow instructions or perish, that is the way of the world." He swings his whip as he steps towards her. "You humans aren't following the natural laws set millions of years ago." The whites of Ashton's eye become black, his skin begins to show a reddish tone. "This is why we are forcing humans to obey. For the worlds good." His voice becomes more of a growl. He puts his face right in front of the girls, "And obey you shall."

Peter looked Ashton in the eyes. A mutant.... no. This one is more human, and it can speak, plan..... a Hybrid! Mutants were dangerous enough, but Hybrids were the ones controlling them. Peter had only seen three in public before, but he had no clue if there were any more than that. Rumour has it that the Hybrids had deadly powers, but that was not proven.

 

Peter pointed his pistol and sword at Ashton. "Listen Hybrid, just leave us. Just because you're a monster now, doesn't mean you have to take it out on us. So take your mutants and crawl back into whatever hole you came from."

zen was walking in the darkness he feelt nothign in his mind......his face was cold and his blad was colder he held it upside down as he walked he pasted by a few pices of buildin left over he could rember place he had already been to and he remberd there was a little left of a lake near somwhere he was walkign his feet didnt make a sound he had both hand's in his pocket's with his blad on his back he pasted by a buidling still stayding he looked at it then poiten his finger"Shi no sero."he said in a cold unfeeling vocie and a beam shot out of his finger detroyign the buidlign as eh began walkign agian

Ashton turns his attention to Peter and hisses. "You dare threaten me with your Human weapons?". He speaks in a voice now that is not his own. "Let me tell you something, Human." Ashton's teeth begin to turn curved and spiky. "Us Hybrids are a gift to you. We'll keep the order for now on. Mutants have more meaning than any Human can have." Ashton starts to smirk. "And..I'm not a monster. I'm more than that. I'm a demon." With that, Ashton opens his mouth and shoots a large fireball straight at Peter.

Peter dove out of the way and landed on the dust beneath everyone. "You call unleashing those monsters upon us that will kill anything they see a 'gift to us'? Look around you! What's there to keep order of?! Everyone is dead!" Peter picked himself up off the ground. "And what 'meaning' are you talking about? You're mutants, except you still have your human minds. What makes you so sure that you are a gift?"

after zack had takin down the strange hybrid he heard talkin for a distance and he noticed that leon had readyed himself to attack then he said "down boy hybrids cant talk it must be other sevouver it has to be" there was only a hill separating zack from the voice and when he reached the top he saw three people and then said "no way i'm not the only saviover after all"

Tomas turned to Ashton he had never heard of the hybrids or never laid his eyes on one. He looked at Ashton scanning him down for weaknesses. Tomas saw the fireball being shot then in return shot a giant laser beam at it to counter it. Tomas then looked at Ashton again. " Are-a you the one who-a destroyed Italia and Venezia?" Tomas said wanting to gain information on the killers of so many innocent people.

The kids in the park, his family, the pope, everyone except Peter, Tomas and possible others.

Ashton's face starts to twitch. "Gra..gra..GRA...GRROOOOOOOAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRR." A gust of wind blasts as Ashton roars. Yes...he's given up. My turn for fun. Ashton looks at Peter, and cocks his head, like a lion observing his prey. He sniffs into the air, and roars again. Two horns pop out of the top of his head, curved and pointy. "????????? ?? ???????? ????????", Ashton screams. He then balls up a fist, and throws a punch straight at Peter, his limbs stretching to reach him. Ashton then turns his head around, 360 degrees, and stares at Tomas.
