August 14, 201015 yr Well depending on the person is the deciding factor on how I would answer this. For certain people the higher your post count, the more contributive and active you are or maybe perhaps the more valuable you are as a member. In a sense that you're not spamming too much and actually providing valuable input on threads, while still participating in the fun side of the website. The member is actually discussing something from time to time and does not actually care for their number under their username to go up or down because they understand it doesn't matter because they know their posts are more likely to stay if they're contributing rather than spamming. But for others it would be the higher your post count, the more you're making yourself look stupid or the more you're considered a spammer. There are those on forum sites who think it makes them look smarter, cooler to have a fancy high number on their own personal stats on a website and though I don't mean to offend anyone at all but posting for that sake seems kind of silly.. = It depends on the person and what they're posting. /shotforpostingalonganswer
