The only anime I have ever finished

Posted

...is Sukisho. <3 Seriously, it's freaking amazing. And this is coming from someone who normally doesn't like anime.

It has a beautiful plot, actually interesting characters (*cough*UNLIKE95%OFTHEOTHERANIMESOUTHERE*cough*), and, by far, one of the best soundtracks I have ever heard.

As well as one of the most heart-breaking plot twists ever. I was seriously sobbing at the end of it, it was so damn sad. D;

And yes, it does have some slight yaoi-ish moments, but that doesn't make it any less awesome. It's sort of a slice of life-comedy type thing, mixed with bits of yaoi and some psychological horror/suspense. The weirdest combination ever, but, trust me, it works.

I'd recommend it to people who like Kingdom Hearts. ;D The plots are slightly similar in some ways, and the main character is actually named Sora (he even has the same hair, lol).

TL;DR, It's freaking awesome, go watch it now, betch. >:V

I feel the exact same way about Okami, lol. Even though it isn't an anime. There's a manga I THINK, but it's actually a japanese video game based on japanese folklore and Shinto religion.

I saw part of it the other day couldn't get past the yaoi-ness, and how female-like parts were taken over by males. I was too uncomfortable with it to like it since I'm not exactly a fan of yaoi in the first place. =

But from what I can tell the basic story was good.

I've heard of Okami, but never actually played it. :< It looks neat though....maybe I'll rent it.

Once you get past the first 2 minutes, it's actually pretty tame, yaoi-wise. The same can't be said about the game the anime is base off of...but that's really beside the point. xD I didn't really like the idea of an all-guy universe either, but I guess there are other things that make up for that. :T

The story is great...though it's really kind of creepy and odd in places. lol
