Alright, so in this case, we're investigating the murder of the Ringmaster, defendant is Max. Trilo says he was waiting outside to propose to Regina when he spotted Max at the plaza- here lies a contradiction not pointed out in the case.
It is impossible for Trilo to have been at the scene of the crime, since he was, in fact, hidden by Max earlier that morning. Trilo is a puppet used be Ben, and Ben, himself, cannot talk to anyone at all if he doesn't have Trilo with him. How could he propose to Regina, let alone TALK to her if Trilo wasn't with him? Not only that, but he claims to have said "Good Evening" to the Ringmaster as well. Ben was too nervous to say anything without Trilo. Trilo claims that both Ben and Trilo were at the scene, (he made a huge deal about how there were four eyes watching the scene, his and Ben's)
Max had hid Trilo earlier that morning after he and Max had a fight over being in love with Regina. Max hit Ben over the head with a bottle, and knocked him out. He stole the puppet, and hid him in the Ringmasters bedroom. Ben did not get Trilo BACK until Phoenix returned him the next day, after the scene had already happened.
SOME theorize that Max was not arrested until the next morning, and THAT is when he hid the puppet, but this cannot be, as Moe called the Police that night, and all the characters in game claim that he had been arrested that night.
Ben wouldn't even be out in the cold at that time if he hadn't had Trilo, thus he wouldn't have even witnessed the crime scene in the first place! The only reason he CLAIMS to have been out there, was to propose to Regina, which is impossible, since the ring was in TRILO's pockets, and he didn't have Trilo at the time. He also can't speak... so my question here is obvious.
... ... Da fuq? No but, how could he be a witness to a crime it is impossible for him to witness, since he hadn't even been at the crime scene?
