So, this is an interest check for an RP that I have been brainstorming for the last few weeks. The thing is, I am bad at doing things halfway, so, if I make this RP, I will be creating a new mythology, map, pictures and NPCs for every town, history, and a few species to go with it. I don't want to do that if no one is interested in joining.
Here is the basic start of the plot:
600 years ago, the world was plunged into darkness as demons began to overthrow order and gain power over the people of the land. The demon king was on the verge of defeating the last of the human king's armies when seven brave warriors took up arms against him. For their courage, the goddess of light gave each of them powers to banish the darkness and defeat the demons. Using these gifts, the warriors defeated the demon king and sealed him into the first of the demon prisons. After many long and bloody battles, the last of the demons were sealed into the prisons. There were fifteen prisons created to hold the demons, with two being entrusted to each of the warriors, and the first, which held the demon king himself, placed under guard by all of the seven. The seven warriors shared responsibility for the prisons with their families, and it was decided that the direct descendants of the warriors, who inherited the gifts of light, would make sure that the prisons were maintained, and that the seals to keep the demons inside did not weaken, while the descendants of the warriors siblings would defend the prisons from outside threats. The prisons functioned well for the first 599 years, with not a single escape or successful invasion. Then, in the 600th year, the outer ring prisons stopped sending reports to the inner ring (you will get it when I draw up the map). The scouting parties were lost, and the descendants of the seven began to fear the worst. Now the inner circle prisons are falling as well, and only five families remain, excepting the center prison's guards, who cannot leave their posts for fear of the release of the demon king. The demons are coming back for revenge, and this time, nothing will stand in their way.
