They said that the whole menu on screen is still a placeholder. But it is interesting to see them using the same word of BBS' shotlock bar

Maybe it has to do with the costume? He is wearing different clothes in the two screenshots. xD

Perhaps it is bar for the keyblade transformation. The possibilities

In the very first gameplay (the one that starts in Twilight Town and ends with a fight against the Rock Titan) the bar is called EX, so that was what they thought at first, but then they changed it to Focus in the pictures that don't belong to trailers... No idea why it could be, but this is more likley to be right:

I FREAKEN CALLED IT!!!!!!!: http://kh13.com/forum/topic/87717-shotlocks-return-in-kh3-trailer/?do=findComment&comment=1674934

WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

Which means that Shotlocks are returning in some way to KHIII, probably as a special comand of the Keyblade's transformations.

its probably also tied in with something else too like with drive

This doesn't confirm shotlocks as we know them are coming back. The targets appear, but functionally this doesn't behave like a shotlock at all

I must've missed the part where you stood still and/or locked onto things

well you can shotlock from the air

well you can shotlock from the air

not in BBS

like I've already said, I wouldn't be surprised if there's something LIKE a shotlock, but there's hardly enough to go on so far

yeah you can

yeah you can

there's no practical way to initiate a shotlock in midair

also it freezes you when you use a shotlock in BBS, something you haven't addressed
