Posted August 15, 201015 yr Does the secret ending only happen in final mix, or both, because i been trying to search this but it always says Kingdom hearts 2, no final mix on the end of it so im guessing it is only final mix that gets the secret ending

August 15, 201015 yr The basic little short one called The Gathering is in both, and Birth by Sleep is in KHIIFM

In KH2 you only see the trailer with just Terra, Aqua, and, Ven gathering at the keyblade graveyard and picking up the keyblades (Kingdom Key, Kingdom Key D, and Soul Eater) thst Sora, Riku, and mickey had in KH2 up until you see a strange figure walking towards them. In KH2FM+ you will see the full trailer of them fighting master xehanort and vanitas.

August 15, 201015 yr well technically, The Gathering is a secret ending but Kingdom Hearts 2 Final Mix+ is more like a secret ending
August 15, 201015 yr Kh 2 gets a shorter version, final mix gets a longer one. Hope this helps they both get it though!
August 15, 201015 yr To put it simply the U.S. gets the crap version, And JP gets the beast version. On KH2FM+, it has both endings in theater mode.
