So, I'm writing a novel, and I need your opinions on something

Would adding a few secondary/minor gay characters make this novel too controversial, or would it be okay?

    It's 2015. It's your novel, so do what you want with it. If anyone complains they'll just have to build a bridge and get over it.

    That's okay. If the topic gets out of hand and people start arguing, breaking the rules, etc. Then the mods will take care of it.
