(Please move this if it's in the wrong place) Give ideas for challenges for the KH games, one I want to try is

KH1 beginner mode, see how quickly you can beat the game

KH2 beginner mode, see how quickly you can beat the game

KH2 beginner mode, Kingdom Key only.

 

Any ideas?

I've done KH2 Kingdom Key only, with no healing (except for fusions and summons, wich means no Cura or healing items from you or an ally) and even defeaten Saïx without using his reaction command to take his berserk mode off on Proud Mode several times. This is obviously only the story, no secret bosses (however, I did beat Sephiroth and the final Hades Cup like this once too).

 

It's a challenge, but it isn't too hard once you get used to it.

 

 

Note: This is KH2, not KH2FM+, so I can't tell if Roxas will be too strong or not.

I've done that .

The "KH1 see how quick you can beat the game" is an interesting one, I managed it in just under 8hrs for that trophy on 1.5.

 

As for other ideas... KH2 Critical, Lvl 1, Kingdom Key only is pretty challenging. Or even playthroughs that you don't allow yourself to use cure and have to rely on potions. I think restrictions make the game tougher rather than simply bumping up the difficulty.

I really don't see the point of these kind of challenges they take the fun out of the game for me,I only do them for trophies lol but that said lvl 1 runs are a pain in the ass if you don't want to grind for specific abilities and whatnot(like I didn't in dream drop distance,I had some regular dream eaters not the recommenced ones to do extra balloon damage etc,took me 30/31 tries each lasting around an half an hour to beat young Xehanort and Ansem was also a muthafacking pain in the ass but that armor was a pushover lol) but in kh 1.5 doing a lvl 1 run in kh 1 is really hard,well to me at least since no guard only parring,that and I chose the sword and gave up the staff lol,I only made it as fair as Tarzan's world,still stuck at the boss.

I've thought about that before, but I haven't done it for obvious reasons. If it didn't take so long it would be fun.

Level 21 wth Roxas' @ 20 hours clocked. A few of those hours I accidentally left the ps2 on. Lol

I'll do that during my summer vacation (ironically) and try to get level 99 roxas

One challenge I like is doing all the bosses with JUST summons. Obviously, this can only start when you get Chicken Little, but from then on, you can only use summons to beat bosses.
