How do I get You Tube thumbnails to appear in a Twitter tweet instead of just a link?

    I don't know what you exactly mean. Whenever I want to post a video on twitter I just copy the link in the url bar and paste it on the tweet. You get a link (1) and a "show multimedia" option (2)

    After clicking on the tweet or the "show multimedia" button I get my tweet with the whole youtube video as you would see it on youtube.com:
