Though I've hated Takano for most of the series...gah, she actually became my favorite character for about 5 seconds during the last episode.

And then she had to go and try and shoot Hanyuu.

But then I ending up feeling bad for her in the end. ._. Speaking of which...I still have NO clue what went on during the very last part of the episode with Frederica (I think...) and little Takano. Did she

die in the bus crash

or what?

 

...And I still don't know what the hell happened to Mr. Delicious either...

 

But, anyways, it was such a good series~! ;D I actually went, "GOD DAMMIT, NO! IT CAN'T BE firetruckING OVER YET!" when I heard the ending theme start to play during the last episode. cx /fail

 

Gah...now I feel I have to finish the manga. ._.

So, to explain the end scene,

 

umm...so, that was the combination of all the dead Rikas, right? I think. But the witch Frederika Bernkastel (from Umineko) played a game with Rika to see who could win the whole Hinamizawa thing. I think. And Bernkastel used Takano as a playing piece. So she met up with little Takano at the end. I think.

 

Too complicated. But Higurashi is my favorite anime that I've finished.

And watch Umineko too, but don't expect it to be very similar to Higurashi.
