Honestly, i'm kinda tired of the jokes about Riku's short hair.

so sora also has a different hair style, so will all the characters have new hair styles for KH3. i mean everybody has something new going on kairi and lea are becoming keyblade warriors, also lea and the other former org. members are human again, aqua and ven are coming back, and terra might be coming back.

 

edit: plus something might be going on with roxas, xion, and namine

It's okay. I really like his new haircut actually. I didn't know people actually made a lot of jokes about his hair. It looks a lot better than his long hair in my opinion.
