there is no better opportunity? I´m already level 150 and it´s hard to level up....i know that there was an event for double-lux this week.

Do mission 57 three + times while killing all heartless.

After that you will spawn the guard armor raid boss.

Killing the boss will net you huge amounts of Lux, especially in higher levels.

That is currently the most efficient way to level up.

Ah, i see. I didn´t know that the boss will spawn then. Thanks :).

In this game, killing a certain number of heartless makes a boss spawn. I don't remember the specifics but I heard somewhere around the 70 mark.

Also the boss that spawns seems to be based on the mission #

Mission 57 always spawns 'Guard Armor' which imo is the most efficient boss to fight as you can destroy his 5 body parts and gain 5 turns to beat it.

I've found that up until 300 or so, the boss type depends on the target enemy's element - I've noticed that the boss triggered from a quest will be the same element as the target enemy's weakness. I haven't noticed anything similar with the new whale and spider bosses, but I also haven't triggered them enough to notice a pattern maybe. xD

300 sounds like too many heartless.

On average, every 3 rounds of the 57th quest gave me a raid boss. I think there are around 25ish heartless on mission 57. So I would kill 75+ heartless in those 3 rounds, then the boss spawns.

Btw did you ever got to that Riku medal bug?

ahhHHH i meant quest 300!! i should have specified that, sorry!!

but yeah quest 57 has 27-28ish enemies (depending on if the pretender and/or the egg are present); i think the trigger number is either 72 or 76 but i can't remember off the top of my head.

and i did and it worked! i've heard from other sources that you can activate it with a broom mickey medal as well. i'm writing something up for it now, but long story short - so what happens is when you activate it, a little roulette will play and you'll get a guilt % at random. there are three tiers of %s which are dictated by how 'hard' the medal is to obtain (i say 'hard' in quotes bc the 2.8 medals are tier 1 despite the fact that grinding 2.8 riku was a nightmare lmao...i'm just pressed tbh). these are indicated by the shape of the guilt bonus: basically, the more complicated the shape, the higher the tier.

you can potentially increase your guilt bonus (the same roulette thing plays, but if it spits out a lower number it won't decrease your existing bonus) by adding additional 6* medals, but you won't be able to increase it past the upper range of that medal's tier.

Ah my bad on the 300 heartless thing...

I too should specify my crap...

I meant the bug with this medal:

https://game8.jp/archives/33206

The 2nd hit doesn't register for me. It's easier to notice the enemy's HP bar as the 2nd hit doesn't drop it's hp.

oh! no no i'm sorry i totally misunderstood!!

i'm not 100% sure but i think the same thing happens when I activate mine - I have no clue if this is a bug or whatever, though.

Guilt is pretty serious.  My Guilt'd Art Aerith ended up at 48%, hits like a truck now.  My 2.8s don't have it though, wouldn't use a Broom on them.

so im not the only one then?

That sucks though, it wastes a hit doing nothing.

Maybe someone who knows Japanese can notify the dev team about this bug?

has someone a different strategy for Cerberus? I´m always one hit and i don´t have a buff-def medal or a medal which debuffs cerberus. Can somebody give me a list of medals who buffs/debuffs?

kh1 kairi (P) - attack up double II (stacks w/ 1-turn buffs? i haven't tried it much myself, maybe someone else can clarify more)

It stacks with general 1 turn buffs like Diz, Green Aerith, Vivi.

Max buff atk stack is 3.

Also pairing a buff with Kairi will give Atk up triple for the duration of the turn.

Won't work with elemental atk buffs.

BEATING CERBERUS

simply this, 3 def up skills, that is all. dont mistake this with def up abilities. im yalkibg about the ones Scrooge medal's equip to your usable medals.

i had def M and 2 def S. Both cloud and Cerberus you can literally mash the screen to win, although i beat cloud a different way. (full deck of random status effects, he was sleep and paralized endlessly until i won, he never attacked)

my only heal medal is Snow White 5star

just a heads up to everyone, attack up skills are useless because its invalid if the enemy has defence up buffs, and your using your abilities just to get over it

def up on the other hand, works waaaay more often and it actually makes your hp matter

Doing the final challenge of the 108 event can net you 10k lux per run if you use the challenge 57 method (Wakkas/Rikus) during this double lux event. It's a good quest to level up.

Its also an amazing quest to farm 5 star level up medals and money, its incredibly good to farm.  My first thought earlier today was

"on the actual day of Christmas Square Enix gave to meeee, an amazing farming dungeon so I will never need moneyyyyy"

has anyone gotten this week's adamant jewels?

has anyone gotten this week's adamant jewels?

I got the one from the Speed challenge, currently working on the magic.

Do you know how to shuffle your non party friends by the way?  Need to shuffle into a powerful Sephiroth with Guilt for magic challenge attempts :P

i think it's probably pulled from an algorithm that gives you people 'similar' to you in terms of ranking etc. - probably not possible to shuffle them too much, i think...

Bummer, guess I just have to wait for that OP 70% guilt Seph I tried before to come back :P

One turning that one just too hard without that kind of fire power.

Now I've finished both.  They are both quite difficult to complete for different reasons, with the rock splendor one being significantly easier imo.

If anyone is seeking advice on these missions I can try and help with how I did them.

go for it, im having trouble myself.

Question, i am confused with how the Buffs work

so what is the point of having lets say a 6* Vivi which is atkup+5 ability when u still have to use atk up more than once to buff yourself to atk2?

idk if that made sense but

atk up ability + atk up ability = atkx2

but yet the medals themselves say

atk up

atk up +1

atk up +2

atk up +3

atk up +4

atk up +5

what is the point of the +5 ones when its still a atkx1 buff? there is no difference of atk up +4 and atk up +5
