Secret of Mana and Seiken Densetsu 3 3D remakes under consideration, PS4 version of FF Adventure possible

Posted

3D remakes of Secret of Mana and Seiken Densetsu 3 will be considered if Adventure's is successful. There will be no changes to the game's story. In other words, Kitase's scenario will be fully intact.

Additionally, a PlayStation 4 port is under consideration.

I don't really think Secret of Mana need a remake. If they made a 3D one for PS4 or Vita (and released it in English) then my interest would be there. The current smartphone version isn't fun, mostly because of the touch screen controls though.

Honestly, I think it does. I tried to play it for the first time about 4 years ago and couldn't do it. The gameplay was just so...bland and dated. Stopped after a mere few hours. One of the few RPGs I've ever put down because I just couldn't handle the gameplay.

There is gamepad support.
