I'm wondering, has anyone played it? What do you guys think about the story, characters, the lore and all that good stuff??

I have played DA:I, and found it to be a fun game. The story was alright, the characters were fantastic, and the lore was interesting.

And that's all just Varric's chest hair!

Iron Bull is the sexiest piece of beef in all of Gamedom.

But I loved the game itself too. It was my first DA game. A lot of fans tear it apart for not being Origins, many other just say "At least it's not DA2"

I've noticed that in a lot of gaming communities actually. The newest game get torn to shreds by the fans, but a couple entries later it's the favorite in the series. Almost like some kind of initiation process. Anyway it's personally my favorite entree, but then again I might be biased because it was my first. Guess you'll just have to see for yourself.

I enjoyed the game. It looked great and the characters kept me interested. It's not as good as Origins, but it plays better than DA2 and imo it has a better story. I liked the Inquisitor's story, but the overall story really benefitted from a strong cast of characters.

My only complaints were it was pretty buggy in parts (on PS4 any ways), issues which still have not been fixed. The DLC was also not worth the price, but with the GOTY edition it probably balances out.
