I suggest you don't bother with the japanese version at all. Unless you understand japanese like the back of your hand, you should not bother with the japanese UX.

Tell me, would you like assuming what is going on all because of the Japanese and you have no clue what they are saying? The dialogue is the other half of a game. If you understand what the characters are saying, then you can full understand what is going on. Why would you play blindly and miss out on half of the game?

You have a PS3? You have the HD remixes? I would play those to 100% instead. That is more worthwhile than playing a game in a language you don't understand. If you don't have a PS3 nor the HD remixes, then I would watch the walkthroughs of 358/2 Days and Re:coded. That is also more worthwhile.

I understand what you mean, I wish they would give us some information about the release too,but unfortunately Nomura hasnt said anything about it since the Japanese version came out
