My Story was just meant to be a simple one, I was assigned by my Master to set out from my World within the Realm of Darkness to explore its otherworldly counterpart within the Realm of Light that would become my 1st ever World of exploration asides from both my home World and my training grounds World, however...things turned out a WHOLE lot more stranger then I thought they would be...

Hello everyone, welcome to the Kingdom Hearts Role Play called χ Chi-A KINGDOM HEARTS Role Play -The Story of Ephemera-, my name is Chirithy and I am to be your guide between the two counterpart Worlds of Daybreak Town in the Realm of Light and "Night Time Town" in the Realm of Darkness, to be honest, I am one of many Chirithys that exist but for now so you can tell the difference, please, just call me "Dreamy".

 

It is my mission to help and guide a certain group of heroes who will battle a certain evil leading the forces of Darkness in an attempt to cause the oblivion of all Worlds everywhere and in order to make sure that I do so, please, raise up your hands, inside your palms, you will gain the power of "Concalo", it is the means by which a certain person can wield a certain type of weapon to combat the Darkness with but in order to first obtain Concalo must a person gain a certain amount of Lux to achieve the method.

 

Right now, the Worlds are unstable at best because of a Dark matter contaminating them called "Umbra Pestis", Umbra Pestis is something that infects the Worlds, causing them to be transported to the Realm of Sleep as a means of protecting themselves, where there, Dark Dream Eaters plague them, neither Spirits nor Nightmares but a new species entirely and now, trying our very best to fend off these new Dark Dream Eaters, me and the other Chirithys are calling for help to aid both us and the Worlds in our times of need, please, take up the certain weapon I spoke of earlier and with it, cleave and open your destinies forward, this is a once in a lifetime request from your friend, Dreamy.

Lara ran at some more Sleepers, and thrust her Keyblade at them, as a ball of Light shaped like a Lion's head appeared on the tip of her Keyblade, and caused the ball to explode as she hit the Sleepers, causing an explosion. She knew she had to be careful not to destroy the Plaza during the battle. She looked at Ephemera to see how he was doing, and looked at some more sleepers, and raised her Keyblade into the air, and fired a single platinum-colored Fireball of Light into the sky, and it flickered in the sky, and then suddenly, bolts of platinum-colored Fire of Light rained down from the sky down towards the Sleepers. She watched her attack commence on the Sleepers with a stern look on her face. "I think it's time for these things to burn away!" Shouted Lara, talking to herself out loud.

"Zo SHIELD!" creating a Shield of Light covering his entire right arm resembling a Elephant's head, Ephe proceeded to bash it against the heads of the Sleepers left behind that survived his last attack, causing them to disperse into Darkness instantly, as they were whacked on their foreheads, meanwhile, watching all the fighting going on around the corner was a both strange and mysterious man wearing a gas mask with the numbers 2142 on it, complaining about what was currently going on, lastly saying the words "Sheesh, Onmyodou sends another apprentice to clean up his mess and LOOK who we have? its the kid whack job himself...literally." said the man wearing the mask, thinking about the irony of his words.

Somewhere in an alleyway, Nightshadros was watching, hiding in it, looking towards the site of the battle, smirking evilly. "So, "He" had shown up, huh? I might as well tell this to my Lord, and tell him the news." Thought Nightshadros, mentally thinking to himself mentally in his head. Nightshadros teleported away in purple mist. Lara jumped at some more Sleepers, and slashed at them with her Keyblade. "How many of these things are there?" Asked Lara, asking herself a question out loud.

"Just keep at them! eventually we'll cross swords with their leader, that's how Dark Dream Eaters act, they gather up in huge packs with their leader commanding them from behind." said Ephemera, going into detail about how Dark Dream Eaters normally act.

As Skye told Eliza if she would like to join her back there, she bit her lip.  She had a terror that she felt towards them and it would be a huge test of her courage but she stood up in retaliation against her fears.

 

"Yes, i will follow you." She said with a slight stutter and not looking Skye directly in the eyes. Eliza started to Fidget  at the though but still she walked towards Skye, lifting her head and grinning Softly.

 

"As long as you can, y'know, Help me i think i'd be fine." She states with a light hearted tone. Eliza didn't want to keep everything serious but things had to be done.

Eliza pats her skirt and shirt off and readies To traverse.

 

"I'm ready if you are!" whenever Skye would walk, Eliza would be short behind.

 

'But in reality i'm not'

'This has gone to far, some can get hurt'

More and more Sleepers kept on attacking both Ephe and Lara, as if though the fighting would never see an end to it, however, just then, all the of the Sleepers were dismissed and appearing by the front entrance of the plaza was a giant Frankenstein like Dark Dream Eater of whom Ephemera identified to be called a "Sleepwalker! every time a huge amount of Sleepers gather around some places, those giant Sleepwalkers appear! be careful Lara, those things have a huge defence that can very rarely be cracked, we need to find a weak spot and attack the Sleepwalker there, otherwise its going to level the Town! are you with me!!" said Ephemera, as he deactivated his Bladecharge Command Style and was preparing to charge the Sleepwalker.

Lara looked right up at the Sleepwalker, and gulped, as she nodded. She gripped her Keyblade tightly, as she continued to look at it. "You've got it, Ephe." Said Lara, talking to Ephemera. Lara raised her Keyblade in the air, and shot chains of Light from it at the Sleepwalker to try to ensnare it. She then twirled her Keyblade around, firing mini platinum-colored Fireballs of Light from her Keyblade at the Sleepwalker, and it could do a lot of damage if any of them hit.

Ephemera uses his bare hands to pull on the chains of Light made by Lara in order to bring down the Sleepwalker to the ground, thanks to Lara's attacks, the Sleepwalker was dazed enough that it was pulled by the chains to the ground floor, allowing for Ephe and Lara to enter close combat with it and attack its head, its main focal weak spot.

"Can you believe the kid Tomessta? honestly, its like the kids today don't know how real battles are fought." said the man in the gas mask watching the fight with the Sleepwalker going on from within the shadows of the corners of the plaza, as he speaks with a man with a long thin neck named Tomessta whom replies "Now now, Garvanche, you've got to give these kids the chance to prove themselves, otherwise we may never seen them surpass us and acknowledge that, you know what I mean?" said Tomessta to the man in the gas mask, as he is now finally identified being called Garvanche who watches both Ephe and Lara fight on with some contempt in the eyes behind the mask, not acknowledging the two's talents in wielding the Keyblade despite only being rookies.

Lara charged at the Sleepwalker, and slashed it several times with her Keyblade, and she jumped back. She looked at Ephemera, and nodded at him with a smile, and looked right at the Sleepwalker with a stern look on her face. She and her friend could attack the Sleepwalker now with it being ensnared. Lara twirled her Keyblade around, firing mini platinum-colored Fireballs of Light from her Keyblade at the Sleepwalker, and it could do a lot of damage if any of them hit. "Now! Let's finish this!" Shouted Lara, talking to Ephemera.

Despite being bound, the Sleepwalker was swinging its arms up and down in a crazed manner, trying to seek if it could hit both Ephe and Lara, due to its strongest defensive skin, Lara's attacks did little to no damage whatsoever on the Sleepwalker, only causing it to be agitated enough that it is tying to break free of the shackles trying it down, watching the fight, Garvanche then comments to Tomessta the words "See? during the war, you and me could have brought down a thing like that easy, it just goes to show you how weak and feeble Onmyodou's next generation of Keyblade wielders are, he's not making any progress on their training skills at all, in Times of peace, the blade dulls, that's my motto." said Garvanche speaking through his gas mask, as he shows that he somewhat holds contempt for Ephemera's true Keyblade Master Onmyodou, on how he trains his students.

Lara saw that her attacks weren't working, as she looked on at the Sleepwalker's defensive skin, studying it closely. She was trying to think up of something, as she blinked. She looked at the Sleepwalker, and at Ephemera. She may have thought of something. "It's skin is rough, it's blocked my attacks... We may need to combine our attacks to try to damage it." Said Lara, talking to Ephemera.

"Your right, Sleepwalkers can't stand energy blasts higher then their own so we have to make our combined attack, as big, as we can." said Ephemera towards Lara whilst Tomessta says towards Garvanche "Here Gar, this is where the next generation will prove you wrong." said Tomessta, placing his faith in both Ephemera and Lara, wanting them to win the fight using their wits whilst Garvanche merely scoffs, not believing in the two young ones and their hidden talents.

Lara nodded, and looked right at the Sleepwalker, and raised her Keyblade, and started charging up Light in her Keyblade, as a Sigil of a roaring Lion appeared behind her back, and the Light being charged up shone brightly. Lara looked at Ephemera, and nodded at him, urging him to do his part. She looked right at the Sleepwalker with a stern look on her face. She was hoping for the combined attack to work. "Okay, Ephe, let's do it now!" Shouted Lara, talking to Ephemera.

Ephemera did the very same things that Lara did, although his Sigil was that of an Elephant and upon combining the energy of his attack with Lara's attack's energy, Ephe proceeded to shoot the combined attack right at the Sleepwalker's head on Lara's mark.

Lara looked at Ephemera, and nodded. She looked right at the Sleepwalker with a stern look on her face. She gripped her Keyblade tightly as she looked on at it. She was hoping for this attack to go through and do something to the Sleepwalker. "Okay then... Now!" Shouted Lara, talking to Ephemera. She then fired a beam of Light from her Keyblade at the Sleepwalker, with a trail of particles of Light following it.

The combined attack hit the Sleepwalker's head dead on, causing it to feel immense pain, covering its head with its hands in agony, just until finally, it blew up in its entirety into what looked like bath soap bubbles, as Ephe deactivated his Keyblade and commented on this rather bizarre occurrence "There! done and dusted!! or bubbles in this case, they say when you beat a huge Dark Dream Eater, it bursts away into bubbles, to signify that it has gone back into being either a Spirit or a Nightmare ordinary Dream Eater, thus once more preserving the balance and cycle of Dreams, as they should be." said Ephe explaining more on the Dark Dream Eaters.

Lara deactivated her Keyblade, an let out a sigh of relief, and smiled at Ephemera. She put a hand on her hip, as she listened on to all of this. She was excited that she was able to help Ephemera defeat the Sleepwalker. She folded her arms as she looked at Ephemera with a smile on her face. "I see, that was a great job we did, we make a good team, don't we?" Asked Lara, asking Ephemera a question.

"Yeah, although I got to admit, I really made faults back there, unlike you, you were at the top of your game, you were--" said Ephemera, only to be cut off mid sentence "You were pathetic, you left your guard open for the Sleepers to attack from multiple points, thank god they were stupid, otherwise if they were smart, you would have been knocked down like little Ephemera here." by Garvanche, as Ephemera was surprised to see Garvanche standing before the former, Ephemera replied to Garvanche's presence "!?!? Y-YOU! you're him! the Monkey Foreteller of the Zaru Clan!! Garvanche Misbostia!?!?" said Ephe, surprised to see Garvanche before both him and Lara.

Lara looked right at Garvanche with a surprised and stern look on her face. She let out a sigh of irritation. She really hated seeing someone interrupt a conversation. "Excuse me? May I ask who you are? Because you seem to be a high standards guy wearing a Monkey Mask.. No offense.. In all seriousness, who are you?" Asked Lara, asking Garvanche a quesstion. Meanwhile, Nightshadros appeared in what appeared to be a throne room, with the Dark Dream Eater Emblem hung up on a wall, and the room was dimly lit, with orbs of purple-colored Energy around the room, with a pool of Dark Energy in the center of the room, and a staircase leading to a throne, with someone sitting on the throne, which looked like a Crystal throne. Nigthshadros bowed down to the person sitting on a throne, looking up at him. "Lord Xredams, I came with news... Onmyodou's pupil had appeared... He took out the Sleepwalker with a friend... Does this trouble our plan?" Asked Nightshadros, asking Xredams a question. Xredams let out a chuckle, as he raised a hand, and Darkness and mist emanated from it. "Interesting... So, he sent "Him" out.... Hehe, what a perfect opportunity it is... If we take him out, we could force Onmyodou to surrender... As for his friend... We shall see." Said Credams, talking to Nightshadros.

"Do not hold yourself so high if I were you, Xredams, remember, my lord Duvalheim and also my Master are expecting great things of you, that is why we gave you charge over the Dark Dream Eater army, remember, do not spoil this for yourself, for if you do....well, it does not need to be said, now does it?" said a both strange and mysterious hollow voice, as it spoke through the walls of Xredams' throne room until finally going silent, leaving a sense of ominous hanging about in the air.

Xredams chuckled at the voice, before his face turning stoic.  "Oh, don't worry, I'm just thinking of the possibilities, Superior. Everyone can think of plans, can't we? I wouldn't spoil it, besides, I was just speaking of my opinion, and forming a plan to deal with it, it's not of 'high almighty' sort of thing. Besides, I have my Apprentice and Disciple, Nightshadros, here to carry out the orders, isn't that right, Nightshadros?"  Asked Xredams, asking Nightshadros a question. Nightshadros looked at Xredams with a stern look on his face, eagerly awaiting his next order. "Yes, my Lord, I'll carry out any command you give me. But the voice speaks well, you should heed it's words more." Said Nightshadros, talking to Xredams. Lara looked right at Garvanche with a surprised and stern look on her face. She let out a sigh of irritation. She really hated seeing someone interrupt a conversation. "Excuse me? May I ask who you are? Because you seem to be a high standards guy wearing a Monkey Mask.. No offense.. In all seriousness, who are you?" Asked Lara, asking Garvanche a question.

"Sigh...he's Garvanche of the Zaru Clan, he's a Foreteller that's from one of the Kingdoms other then Master Onmyodou's, he likes to boast about being better then everyone else which in respect, he is, in terms of Keyblade skills, to be honest Lara, I've never met anyone else more prominent then a true Keyblade Master besides him that can wield a Keyblade so fluently." said Ephemera towards Lara about the man standing in front of the two, Garvanche.

"Really? I thought Master Herubert would have told you about them, well, to be honest, the Foretellers are a group of united Keyblade wielders that serve directly under the leaders of all the respective Kingdoms that the Keyblade wielders in question are born and raised in, I am a Foreteller apprentice from my Master Onmyodou's Kingdom, he took me in and raised me so that I could become a true Foreteller one day, so far, I have passed 5 of 6 stages that are needed to be completed before you can become a true Foreteller in and all of the word itself, I'm on the final 6th stage and once have I completed that, Master Onmyodou will take me to a special World called the "Realm of the Foretellers" and there I shall be dubbed a true Foreteller Keyblade Master, its different in the sense of how a normal Keyblade wielder becomes a Keyblade Master, its not like the Mark of Mastery Exams that Keyblade wielders must take to become true Keyblade Masters, no, instead this is called the "Mark of Foresight Exam", a test to foreshow if we are truly worthy of becoming Foretellers or not, if we are blessed from passing the Exams then we will be given a specific animal that represents our inner nature, Garvanche here has the Mark of a Monkey and my Mark is that of an Elephant, by completing stage 4 of the 6 stages will our animal auras manifest themselves and we can use them to represent our Foreteller Sigils, like you have with your Lion Sigil, being a Foreteller is no easy task, becoming one means we must fulfil our Keyblade Master duties no matter what both when and where ordinary Masters cannot, basically in short term, we are the SWAT of Keyblade wielders." explained Ephemera to Lara.

Lara looked at Ephemera, with a look of awe on her face. She folded her arms as she looked at him. She was thinking of something about all of this. She unfolded her arms as she still kept the look of awe on her face. "Wow... That sounds... Amazing.... Come to think of it, my Master DID tell me something about that, I just forgot... Still, just wow..." Said Lara, talking to Ephemera.
