Nah, it's just that Plot Armor just gives all the MCs ridiculously high Evasion. Just look at R2-D2. He's slow af but his Evasion makes him untouchable.

I thought we were through with this horrible trend in writing. R2-D2's had the same excuse since Episode IV. All of this dumb Stormtrooper stereotyping is going to ruin a movie that could have had potential.
