What did you think about Nintendo's actions yesterday?

(keep in mind that they did in fact lie to us, unless this source is unreliable, which would mean that the source was either a rumor or a fake)

for me, I respect their decision. Having a Iwata tribute is WAY more important than having a world premier and a zelda musical, but still, they could have at least informed us, but that's okay

oh okay. well at least I got some part of it right.

Forgive me if I'm mistaken, but the source you provided didn't exactly claim that Zelda footage would be shown at all.  It sort of makes it sound like it is being confirmed, but the entire article is questioning whether it will be shown at all.  The one statement I'm iffy regarding would be Keighley confirming that Nintendo would show off something (which very well could be the lie that you're referring to), though it isn't clear on what, and I am wondering if it was ever really confirmed to begin with.  Second, I feel that there's a slight difference between lying and changing one's mind.  I don't think Nintendo deliberately lied: they probably just felt that the memorial was more important than additional footage and prioritized it.  Those are my thoughts, at any rate, for what they're worth. ; )
