Since it seems there is some doubt as to the legitimacy of this thread (I know nothing about the website personally), I've edited the thread title to reflect this.

... Then what the Hell is it supposed to be satirizing? The overall trend of the entertainment industry cashing in on nostalgia? Which then started the recent trend of old cartoons being revived through new series or seasons?

What's the joke? "Hey, we're gonna give Jimmy Neutron a new season... yay!" Nothing else was said that might have indicated any flaws of the trend, such as the common "Michael Bay-inization" of the product or even something on the lines of Teen Titans Go! proportions. It literally just said that it was coming back. Granted, yes, there's the trivial reasoning by "Netflix", but what is that supposed to be saying? Nostalgia cash-ins are easy? Well no shit, it's been going on for what seems like forever. We know that companies are going to take any chance they get to exploit an old property, it's old news. So then what? The article is too boring and bland to indicate that it's actually trying to send a message in the first place.

If this is supposed to be a joke, it's not very funny. :/

Most of clickhole's stuff is funnier than this haha, but yeah I guess they were just capitalizing on the fact that so many things are being "revived" these days, and how people freak out about them so much.  And it gets to a point where people are just like, "let's do this! unless there's something better...?"

or at least that's supposed to be the joke xD
