Biography- Aya lost her virginity at the age of 10 years old to her father's brother, Charles. Due to her parent's work, her mother running a clothing line and her father working for the Queen, they were completely unaware.
Aya was continuously sexually abused by her uncle's hand, and too scared to speak up about it. It only grew worse when Aya's mother died due to fever.
After Viscount Alexander Everus was killed, Uncle Charles insisted he was chosen as the new watchdog. The Queen refused, for Charles was a second born. Uncle Charles was furious, and Aya was thrown out into the streets.
A brothel picked Aya up, however she at first did not know that they were not only a brothel, but ALSO a cult. They were against the Queen, and held interest in black magic. After Charles happened to step into the brothel one day, he informed the owner that Aya was an Everus.
They instantly treated Aya like slum, making her work for them as a prostitute. This happened on her 15th birthday. Charles started working for the brothel, and made Aya's life hell. That is when she made her decision. She wished things were like back then, before her abuse. Aya "accidentally" summoned something she would regret for the rest of her life, using the black magic of the cult. She summoned the high demon, "Veran Sterben".

"No matter how ugly it is, Nikolai, I am sworn to protect Aya, and will until the very end. Even if I betray the Demon Lord himself." Veran called out to Nikolai, him falling behind.

They managed to get passed a bit more water before the carriage could not move anymore, him having to undo the horses.

He went to the door on the carriage and opened it up, picking Aya up and out and then pulling Lazarus out.

"We will have to ride on horseback." he said, placing Aya on the back of one of the horses, helping Lazarus on the same horse Aya was on.

Veran climbed on the other horses back, them moving it along as they left their carriage behind, Veran and Aya keeping the horses they were on close as they changed towards the Pandora manor.

~~~
They arrived a bit longer than it would usually take, but once they were there, Veran took Aya and Lazarus off of the horses, tying them up at the front, and went to the door, being polite and knocking, as it was late.
Catarina opened the door, wearing a pair of pajamas as she rubbed her eyes. "You guys are back already? It is so late." Catarina said as she let them inside, quickly glancing at Lazarus. "Who is he?" She asked. Alexander hurried down the stairs, bags under his eyes from the lack of sleep. "They're back?" Alexander asked. "Yes. They have brought...someone." Catarina said. "Oh thank goodness!" Alexander said as he hurried down the stairs and walked over to Aya and Veran. "Please tell me you have the cure. He has started to get delirious! He actually thinks that you're a good guy, Veran!" Alexander said, unable to help himself to throw that insult in there. His expression hardened. "But in all seriousness...he has even started to write down his will. HE doesn't think he will survive the night." Alexander said as he looked over at Aya and then at Lazarus, staring at him strangely. "And who the hell is this?" Lazarus shook his head, grabbing a hold of the closest thing to him, which was Veran, for support.
  • Author
Veran pat Lazarus's head, ignoring the brilliantly terrible comment Alexander just made about him.
"This is Lazarus. He was the son of the doctor who...made this cure. We have it, but let's just say it was not easy to get it." Veran said sharply, smirking at how exhausted the human was.
"He will survive." Aya said, the two beginning to walk back upstairs to Samael's room.
Aya knocked on the door before entering.
"Samael, we have the cure." Aya said, handing the cure to Alexander.
"Be very careful with that and only use ONE drop. That small amount will only last for the entire town." Aya warned, her eyes cutting into Alexanders.
Alexander glanced at the cure. It was oddly colored, but it was something. He glanced at Lazarus and turned back to Samael. "One drop it is." Alexander said, turning over as he opened the delicate bottle and tilted it over Samael's open mouth. A single drop fell into his mouth, and the effects were notable almost instantly. He shuffled, groaning as he opened his eyes, the cure spreading throughout his body in a matter of seconds. Samael looked up at the cieling and then turned over to see who was there. "...Aya, Veran, you're here too. You came to see me?" Samael asked in his usual tone. Alexander almost broke down as he handed the cure back to Aya. "Samael!" Alexander squeaked, hugging him close. "You'll live you'll live!!!" Alexander squealed. "Oh, Aya found the cure." Samael turned to Aya and smiled. "Thank you, Aya. You truly are amazing." Samael said calmly. Alexander looked over to Aya as he held Samael almost like a father held a child. "Yes, thank you for saving Samael." Alexander said as he rubbed Samael's head.
Aya handed the cure back to Veran as he fastened the lid onto it. Veran smiled as he placed the vial in his breast pocket, looking over at Samael.
"Lazarus, this is Aya's friend that was sick. Samael Pandora is his name." Veran introduced.
Aya pulled Samael away from Alexander a bit, pulling him right into a hug.
"I was worried about you. I tried getting this done as fast as possible." she spoke softly, party due to her own exhaustion.
"I am very glad you are okay." Aya then said, holding her hug there.
Veran nodded in agreement with Aya, happy that Samael was okay.
They would not speak about what happened at the Doctors manor, nor the danger Aya and Veran might be in.
Veran would go and cure everyone infected in London tonight with his speed, and then dispose of the vial.
Edited by Madam Ciel Nekohive
Samael groaned, smiling at Aya's warmth. It wasn't usual for Aya to be physical. Hugs and handshakes alone were made for the sake of appearnces rather than actual affection. But this felt different. This felt more personal, and it made Samael feel happy and special. "You worried that much for me, milady? I feel so rude to have made you worry so much." Samael said with a smile, throwing his arms around Aya and hugging her back. "You're like an angel, you know. You appear when I least expect it. But it's always pleasant." Samael said with a chuckle. Alexander sighed and removed his mask. He looked over at Veran. "I suggest you start spreading that cure before it gets out of control, if it is contagious that is." Alexander suggested, looking over at Lazarus, who looked over at the interaction. So thats why she was so desperate. He still couldn't help it, turning around as he walked out of the room, Catarina following him just in case. Samael nodded. "Alexander is right. The others are still sick. You have the cure. We need to give it to them too."
  • Author
"An angel? Far from it~" Aya teased, her shoulders up broadly, smiling proudly.
"Also, you don't have to call me "milady"...that is mainly for other men." Aya informed him, smiling as her eyes turned to Veran.
Once Alexander said they should start spreading the cure, Aya stood up and pulled away from Samael.
"Veran...I order you to place a drop of that cure in the mouths of the sick. Cure London for us...with the speed of a demon." Aya commanded, her voice proud.
"Yes...my lady." Veran took a bow, pulling the vial out of his coat pocket, turning towards the door as Lazarus left, and speeding off with a blur towards the city of London.
"Show off." Aya commented right after he left..
Meanwhile, Veran was doing just as his master ordered. He would quietly break into the homes of the sick, adding one drop into their mouths. Young and Old, noble and peasant, doctor and stable worker, Veran made sure he obeyed Aya's orders.
He dropped the last bit of the cure into the mouth of a boy no older than about 10 years old, a mother entering the room as he left with a black blur.
Everyone would be okay. This mission was considered an overall success.
However knowing the Queen, the peace would not be available for a while.
Alexander bowed his head to Aya. She had saved Samael's life, and in return all such respect to her had doubled. Not to Veran though. He still thought Veran was a prick. "Lady Evarus, you must be exhausted. Please allow us to host you for tonight. We can prepare you a bath and some sleeping attire for you to rest for tonight." Alexander offered as he smiled at Aya. "Anything for the one who saved my lord." Alexander added. Samael smiled as he sat up slightly against his bed. "Alexander, you should offer her some of the chocolate covered raspberries you made too. They are very yummy." Samael said as he closed his eyes for a bit. "I'm glad I finished the wedding dress before I got sick. Otherwise the bride would have been so mad at me." Samael murmured, gently and eventually falling back to sleep, able to finally catch some zs after staying awake with the pain of the sickness, and the worry that if he fell asleep, he wouldn't wake up again. "He finally is asleep. I'm so glad." Alexander said with a pause as he glanced out of the room, watching at Lazarus, who was sitting on a chair while Catarina watched over him. "He's not human either, is he?" Alexander asked.
  • Author
Aya smiled, looking down at Samael whom fell asleep quickly.
"Thank you once again for your hospitality." Aya stood, the two walking out of the room.
"You made chocolate covered raspberries? It would be lovely if I could have some." she would love something sweet right now, even if it would keep her up a bit longer.
As soon as Alexander asked the question about Lazarus, Veran decided to show back up, practically out of thin air.
"Indeed he is not. In fact he is lucky to be a living being currently. It is fascinating how his father saved him." the demon said, right beside Alexander's ear.
"Now Alexander, you do not mind if stay here tonight as well?" Veran then asked, a dirty smirk across his face.
Alexander scowled at Veran. "Do I have a choice???" Alexander groaned. He pushed Veran away, glancing over at Lazarus. "You mean the doctor." Alexander murmured, glaring at Veran. "Since you went to go and get the cure I'm guessing the doctor is no longer alive due to...circumstances that follow you." Alexander growled. He sighed. Whatever. "You may take lady Aya to a bath if you wish. I will bring her some chocolate covered raspberries from the kitchen. Freshly made. I will have Catarina find a room for...the kid." Alexander said as he glanced over to Lazarus and then at Veran. "I'll go get them." Alexander sighed as he walked off, going to get the raspberries from the kitchen. A few maids walked over to Veran and Aya and bowed. "We can help you with the bath. Would you like minerals or bubbles? Maybe scented oils, lady Evarus?" One of the maids asked. "I will help prepare a room. Would you like a one piece attire or a two piece attire for sleeping?" Another maid asked. There were a limited number of staff in the Pandora Manor. The ones that worked here were only those who helped raise Samael. They knew him and saw him grow up with a terrible father, and now they were going to watch him grow into a man. They would serve until the very end. Catarina helped Lazarus up. "I'll lead you to a guest bedroom. Please follow me." Catarina said as he led Lazarus away. Lazarus followed before turning over to look at Aya and Veran. He glared at them before closing his eyes and proceeded to follow Catarina. It had been quite the evening.
  • Author
Veran smirked at Alexander. Yes, the "circumstances" that surrounded to two. It was practically a curse.
"You will however not walk in on her in the bath." he warned Alexander, the butler sighing and walking off.
He didn't care.
As the maids came over, Aya was bombarded with questions.
"Ah--I really don't care about what is in it!!" Aya really did not mind, she honestly just wanted to get this day over with.
"You can get her one piece attire. I will be sharing a room with Aya tonight..." Veran informed.
He was rather worried about Minerva and Noir showing up.
The maids nodded. They whipped up a bath quickly for Aya. Full of bubbles and sweet scents, all worthy for an heiress like herself. They also brought her a night gown to sleep in. They fixed up a bedroom for her and Veran as well. Alexander handed on of the maids the chocolate covered raspberries, who then handed the plate over to Veran to serve to Aya. They then retired, ready for any possible orders. Catarina took Lazarus to a guest bedroom, where he made himself comfortable and retreated over to the nearest window. "You feel conflicted." Catarina said as she stood by the door. "Of course I do. If they hadn't said no, then my father would still be alive. If they had just never come to my home, my father would still be alive. My father revived me to make sure that we could all be together for eternity, and yet now I am all alone all over again, and for what?" Lazarus spoke as he paused and felt his scarf. "...no, I'm not fully alone, am I? Miss Aya saved me, and so did mister Veran. Maybe out of pity." Lazarus said as he turned to face Catarina. "What will you do about it?" Catarina asked. Lazarus stood up. "I've always wanted to be a doctor. So I'll take advantage of the situation. I'll stick with Aya and become her personal gardener, and make sure that she has all that she needs in case she ever does get sick. I'll stick around...and see where the Evarus name takes me." Lazarus confessed.
Veran and Aya stay silent in the room the maids had prepared for them, Aya eating a chocolate covered raspberry, Veran watching her. It was almost unsettling.
"Aya." He then spoke up, moving to sit beside Aya.
Aya's eyes shifted to Veran as she dropped a berry into her mouth, then turning her head away from him, he starting to undo her eye-patch.
He finished untying it, letting it fall into his hands. "Why did you decide to save Lazarus?" he then asked. "Why would I have not? I wasn't going to let him die...even though he probably wants to die now." Aya sighed, her face turning to Veran.
His crimson eyes glowed in the darkness of the room.
"Minerva and Noir...they better not dare lay a hand on you, or Samael." he was very mad about the situation from earlier today.
"We need to look out. I don't know who they are working for, but it could be anyone...including your uncle." Veran muttered the last part.
"Charles? Hehe...maybe they are. Who knows." Aya sighed, letting herself lay on the bed.
"I am sure the Queen will get word that everyone has been cured." Veran stood again, removing his tailcoat and his vest, leaving his button-up still on, and pulling off his weapon belt, placing them neatly on a desk in the room.
"What are you doing?" Aya asked, a bit too lazy to look over to him.
"I'm about to get some much deserved rest. Demons do enjoy sleep sometimes." Veran commented back.
"Ew, with me?" Aya laughed at the thought.
"Shut up, you've slept with me before."
"Okay but I have had a good reason too"
"Just deal with it. It's not like I'm going to do anything bad"
"I don't know, you could eat me."
"I will not eat you."
"Promise?"
"Promise."
"Finnee...I guess you can sleep with me. Just...don't touch me." Aya finally accepted it, moving closer to the end of the larger bed, as it avoiding Veran with every bit of her being. "You're a mess Aya."
"You're a bigger mess, demon." Aya spat back at him.
They spat some words at eachother, all of it in a rather friendly joke manner, but eventually Aya ended up dazing off, leaving Veran on the other side of the bed on top of the covers, turned to look at her. Her back was faced away from him.
She was going to make an exquisite meal.
-Next day-By the next day it was a very calm morning within the Pandora household. It wasn't hectic, it wasn't extravagant, it was simply calm and relaxed and easy going. Even the servants were taking it easy. It was similar to those days back then when lord Pandora senior was out on business for a few days, and Samael had the place all to himself and the servants. It was only when his father was away that Samael got to take it easy when it came to studies and chores that otherwise his father expected him to do as he was told, constantly watching over. And when those days happened, he was dearly spoiled. He would be allowed to sleep in, breakfast in bed with his favorite treats sneaked in, and after some studying, he and Alexander would play around all over the property, chasing each other and playing until they dropped like flies. It was a good existence. Samael woke up in such a good mood, feeling so much better. He sneaked out of his bedroom, walking to the kitchen to steal some strawberries and other yummy food instead of actual breakfast. He took a handful of blueberries too, and other small fruits. Once he had filled a big plate out of them he promptly ran back upstairs, straight to Ayas room to share the goodies with. He gently knocked on the door, and then walked right in. "Ptsss, Aya, I brought fruits!" Samael said with a gentle voice. If Veran was in the room, Samael was too focused on the food to have noticed him.
  • Author
Aya rubbed her eyes, slowly opening them. She saw that Samael had come into the room, a plate of fruits in his hands.
She sat up, "Samael, what are you doing in here so early?".
Veran, was surprisingly actually asleep, even though, if Aya was at the manor, he would be up and working.
Aya did not look at the sleeping demon, intending not to disturb him.
Samael was still in his pajamas, and he should have known better not to enter a ladies room without permission.
She moved to sit beside Samael, taking a strawberry from the plate of fruit.
"Where is Lazarus?" she asked, popping the strawberry into her mouth.
Veran stirred, his eyes jolting open as he realized Aya was not the only one in the room.
With his shock, he abruptly fell off the bed, Aya turning to him and laughing at his clumsy drowsiness.
"It's just Samael calm down." Aya smiled at her butler.
"Yes, it is Samael. Don't tell Alexander about this, he will make fun of me for the rest of his life." Veran warned, getting himself up and walking over to where his clothing was, pulling on his vest and other clothes.
"I felt better, so I decided to sneak in some fruits." Samael said as he ate some fruit. After brushing close to death and coming back, he felt that he should be more happy than the usual. "He's asleep in his guest room." Samael said, glancing up at Veran. When he fell off the bed, Samael busted out laughing with Aya. It was one of the extremely rare times that one would see the demon slip up. Act 'human'. Or just fail at something when he was usually good at everything. "I won't tell Alexander. Promise." Samael said as he lifted his pinky finger at Veran, signaling a pink promise of sorts. He took one strawberry and offered it to Veran. "Do you want one, Veran? There's lots to go around." Samael said, offering him a really big and red strawberry. "On another note, speaking of Alexander. He should return soon. He went to report to the queen that you had returned and cured everyone sick. If she has any other missions then she should send a letter with him." Samael said. "Oh! And I hear a circus is arriving to town soon! We should go. I haven't been to one of those in years."
  • Author
Veran was dressed up again, moving over and taking the strawberry from Samael...only to shove it in Aya's mouth.
Aya gave Veran a rude look before biting into the strawberry.
"I do not eat human food." he said in a dull voice.
"A circus?" Aya asked, looking at Samael.
"That would be very fun. We should try to go. Would you be up to it Veran?" Aya turned to him and asked.
"I would have no choice to go." Veran commented.
Aya sighed and nodded silently.
Like Samael expected, the Queen indeed did write up another mission for Aya...concerning the exact Circus Samael was wanting to go to.
"My dear Aya,
A circus is coming to London very soon. A circus by the name of Eros Circus. I have been informed of some strange happenings surrounding this circus however. People of all ages are getting kidnapped as they leave the circus, they go see the show, and are taken to be with the circus forever. The people who have been kidnapped are not just the poor, but people of all social status.
I am unsure what they are up to, but the kidnapped have not come back, and I am very worried that more people will be kidnapped when Eros Circus comes to London.
I will leave this...up to you and your demon.
I have four tickets inclosed...just incase.
-Victoria"
Samael smiled. "A circus is a great way to relax. Nothing like laughter after being near death for a few 24 hours." Samael said. Just then, Alexander knocked on the door, and walked in. "I knew that you would be here." Alexander said, referring to his master. He was merely a few years older and yet watched over Samael like the father the poor kid should have deserved. "A letter for lady Aya." Alexander said as he handed the envelope with the queen's letter to her. He then turned to Samael chuckling. "You should know better than to sneak food into a lady's quarters." Alexander said worryingly. It wasn't Aya he was worried about, though. It was Veran. Darn that demon. He hated him so much. Just because...well, because he existed. Yeah. That. "We were talking about the circus that's coming to the city. I saw some pamphlets that the maids brought in. I was thinking we should go." Samael suggested to Alexander. "Oh, the circus. You haven't gone since your 7th birthday haven't you? That does sound like it could be fun..." Alexander said, realizing that if Samael wanted to go, that Aya would be invited. And if Aya was invited, Veran was invited.
  • Author
As Aya was given to letter, she read it quickly as Alexander and Samael continued talking.
"Well if we go there...we are surely in for one hell of a show." Aya handed the letter to Alexander, her pulling the tickets out of the envelope.
"We can't even go see a circus without the Queen bothering us..." she sighed.
Veran looked at the tickets as he grabbed one. "The Eros Circus?" he studied the ticket for a bit.
"These tickets are for tonight. It's opening night." Veran informed everyone, looking at Alexander and smirking.
Alexander quickly read the letter as well, mortified at the realization that he would have to go with Veran. Samael on the other hand was estatic to it. He clapped his hands together. "No way! The queen sent us tickets?!" Samael asked as he stood up. "It's only because Aya has a mission regarding the Circus, Samael...but since she did sent four tickets...I guess we can go with Aya and...him." Alexander said, hissing at Veran with a glare. Veran's existence alone made him miserable. Why him? WHY. "A mission regarding the Circus? That sounds like an easy mission compared to other stuff that you have been assigned to. But hey! We get to see the opening show!" Samael said happily. "I wonder if they'll have elephants? Maybe a giraffe too." Samael said gleefully. He was adorable when he acted like such a child, but sometimes he had to be reminded to act more maturely, as the heir of Pandora. "I can't wait! I should get dressed already!" Samael said as he scurried off. "Samael it's still quite early!" Alexander called, but he was already off. Alexander sighed and paused, glancing over at Veran and at Aya. "Well...I guess we will accept your offer to the circus' show tonight." Alexander said, glaring specifically at Veran. "If you wish to take a look at the circus before the show, I would suggest you attend the small parade that they will have once they enter the city. Usually its very big and festive. Maybe you'll see something unusual."
  • Author
"We will go to the parade. Veran, could you go fetch me some clothes for the circus tonight?" Aya then asked, wanting to have some of her clothes.
Veran bowed his head.
"Yes, my lady." he said, and with that, casually walked over to the window...opened it up, and jumped out, darting off to the Everus manor.
"I am sorry about him." Aya said with a sigh as he left, going over to the window and closing it for Samael and Alexander.
"Even though we are investigating tonight...we will have fun. I promise you guys that!" Aya declared, a big smile on her face.
She really did just want to have a break.
Meanwhile, a circus caravan began pulling into small towns in London, a young man leading the caravan.
"Papillon....when are we going to get the the next town?" a girl around his age asked, watching the ground move past them.
"Very soon, Nimbus." the man assured.
"Do you think we will get some new additions?" A small girl with a rather blank face asked as she tied up a ballet slipper.
"Of course we will, Pointe." a rather loud-looking man intruded on the conversation, looking towards the back of the caravan.
"Scourge~ what kind of performance will you make?" Another young girl asked, sitting a little too close to Scourge.
"I assure to you Melodia...something that will make the crowd go wild." Scourge answered.
The group sat at the front of the caravan with their leader....Papillon.
Alexander smiled. "You are too kind, lady Aya." Alexander said as he picked up the plate. "He trusts you very much. He doesn't regret a single thing when it comes to being the scapegoat for the Queen's Watchdog. He is a little bit too proud of that fact, actually." Alexander murmured as he puffed his cheeks. He then paused and walked closer to Aya, and bowed at her. "I want to thank you, lady Aya. I have been raised along with Samael, and have seen him grow into who he is. But I have seen him grow to become very happy and very cheerful around you. I have come to believe that you're helping him to learn to be happy again...for that I thank you." Alexander said as he smiled at Aya. He cleared his throat and turned. "I'll get going now. Stuff to do. So on, so on." Alexander said, trying to brush off his courtesies with Aya as if it had never happened. With that, he walked out of the room, feeling a slight pain in his chest. Part of hom felt jealous. Jelous at the fact that Aya was making his beloved Samael happy, maybe even happier than what he has done. Yet, he couldn't help but to feel happy as well. Samael was happy, so what else could he possibly ask for?
As Alexander left the room, Aya watched him and smiled.
Alexander could be an asshole sometimes, but he really cared for Samael. He was young, but an excellent butler to the boy. Alexander loved the boy just as much as Veran loved her...yet Aya was pulling Samael away.
Oh well...she was an Everus after all.
Veran knocked on the window, a small bag from the manor in his hands.
Aya came over to him and unlocked the window, letting him in.
"Veran....thank you." Aya didn't really know what came over her, but she took the creature into a hug, him as confused as ever.
Veran worked just as hard to keep Aya safe, her sometimes not even knowing the extent he goes though to keep them together.
"L-Lady Aya, what is this about?" he stuttered.
"Alexander just reminded me of something...that's all." she backed up.
"Let's get me dressed."
Veran got Aya dressed, and they then exited the room, looking for Catarina so they could find Lazarus.
Aya's outfit...minus the beret...and those heels are very long....so they would have to be flat shoes...https://mylolitafadress.files.wordpress.com/2015/02/43.jpg
Lazarus found himself drawn out to the grand tea room of the manor. It was richly decorated with fine furniture, comfortable seats, lounges and tables. Paintings decorated the interior walls, as the other walls were made out of glass, creating a grand view of the garden without having to deal with the bugs from the outside. Flowers of all kinds bloomed against the glass, growing against it from the edges. There were flowers in ceramic vases settled on small pedestals that gave the room a delightful aroma. The place seemed the type of place created for the sake of the matriarch of the household to hold tea parties for her friends, sitting down and gossiping about the latest trends and rumors. It was here where Lady Pandora spent time with her own friends, her favorite tea set still in use to her son. The place was like a greenhouse that separated nature and modern life by glass. It was the type of place his own mother would have liked to be in. "It's peaceful in here." Lazarus murmured, hearing the chirping of the birds from the outside. He could imagine his mother sitting on the ottoman, knitting another creation as she was brought in treats by the servants. Lazarus most likely sleeping in the sofa next to her. "How pretty."
Aya and Veran managed to find Lazarus a bit easily, more thanks to Veran's ability to pick up his scent.
"Lazarus! How did you sleep?" Aya called out, the two approaching him.
He probably did not want them near at all, but he was supposed to work at her mansion. They would have to drop him off with Wulfric before they left for the circus.
Veran did not bother to look at Lazarus, for he was checking the time. The parade would start soon.
The caravan rolled its way into town. It was not time for the parade yet, they would go thought the busy part of town when it was the time of the parade.
