Roleplay Kuroshitsuji: Book of Roses

Samael ate some fruit. What they were good at? Samael quickly perked up. "I can shoot and aim well!" Samael said with a smile. "That is an understatement." Alexander said, pointing at Samael. "He's one hell of a sharp shooter! He's been practicing since he was little!" Alexander insisted. "I specialize in arrows but I guess I can use guns as well." Samael said as he flushed at Alexander's assistance. He was way too nice. He glanced up, pointing at Alexander. "And Alexander is good at balancing stuff!" Samael said. Alexander groaned. Samael continued, "He's very good at it! I could put blocks on his head like a tower and he will be able to keep balance of it all!" Samael giggled. "Yes. I am good at balancing things." Alexander said as he ate some bread. Worst. Bread. Ever. Once they were all done, they walked off and began to walk to the big tent. Inside, multiple performers practiced. On the ropes the acrobats walked without much trouble despite the height. Some of the lions were sitting on their stands practicing with their trainer. It seemed so weird without the crowds and the music. "Mister ringmaster! We're here!" Samael said as he looked around.

Papillon approached the group, it looked like he has been helping out some people.

"Ah-- You're here. I'm happy you guys didn't cause us any trouble...and we will not be talking about what happened last night. We will be focusing on your talents today...what you guys excel in."

Veran smirked.

"Well I am good at everything really...do I need to prove myself?" Veran was quite excited about this, as he could show off.

"I don't need you showing off demon, you're not even our main attraction anyways." Papillon reminded, then looking over to Aya.

"What are you good at my dear~?" he asked.

"Really much of nothing." Aya admit.

Papillon sighed.

"Surely you're good at SOMETHING?" he was going to get an answer.

"I mean I can am good at hiding things...I can move somewhat quickly...I don't really know...." Aya muttered. "She could do anything if she tried." Veran reassured.

"Stage combat it is...that's easy enough." Papillon then turned to Samael and Alexander.

"What are you two good at? You guys can even give me a demonstration if you wish." the ringmaster asked.

Samael and Alexander looked each other. "I am good at...balancing things!" Alexander said. It didn't sound very convincing. "Show them, Alexander!" Samael said happily. Alexander rolled his eyes. He looked around and walked over to the nearest clown. "Hey, let me borrow some of this stuff." Alexander said as he then looked over to Samael. "Samael! Throw me stuff!" Alexander asked. Samael nodded. He walked over to the stuff. They were random. Ranging from rolling pins and bouncy balls and just colorful cubes. Samael shrugged and began to throw them at Alexander. Surprisingly, one by one, Alexander took them into his hands and began to juggle them, stacking them on top of his head like a tower, all while with a poker face. He didn't even struggled. "See Veran? I'm way cooler than you, Veran. You see this sh*t, Veran? I'm actually talented." Alexander said as he hissed at Veran all while juggling and stacking the random items. He even did it while standing up on one leg alone. Impressive regardless. Samael smiled and clapped his hands at Alexander's show. "Oh, it's my turn to show off, right?" Samael asked as he looked around. "Oh! These should work." Samael said as he picked up a pair of performer's guns. He glanced at the ringmaster. "Don't worry-it's for my act!" He insisted, walking back near the ringmaster. He clocked the guns. "Alexander, start throwing!" Samael said. "Wait, really? Alright! Hope they don't mind the bullet holes." Alexander said as he then began to throw the items he juggled back into the air. Samael wasted no time. He aimed and began to shoot. One. Two. Three. Four. Each bullet landing straight on its target, going right through in the middle. With the last bullet, he aimed the gun all the way to the other side and shot, the bullet going straight to an apple that was about to be stabbed by one of the knife throwers all the way on the other side of the tent, leaving the poor subject underneath the apple near death out of fear. Samael smiled as he spun his guns around his fingers. "How was that?"

Aya was astounded...Veran was a bit pissed off...and Papillon very excited.

Alexander mocked him. Right there. In front of everybody.

Papillon applaud Samael and Alexander. He didn't mind the bullet holes at all, especially after a performance like that.

"You are an amazing shooter!" Papillon was ecstatic.

Aya simply left speechless at the performance.

"Now that you all have...some sort of talent...you will all train with people who share a talent like yours. There are people all through here...but you cannot leave until this evening." Papillon gave a smirk at the end of the sentence. They would get no lunch.

"Have fun~ We will have our eyes on you." Papillon walked away, leaving Aya, Samael, Alexander, and Veran there to train...basically nonstop.

-That evening-

Aya was starving...she had learned far too much in one day...probably more combat skills Veran had ever taught her. This circus was crazy. Hopefully they would get a chance to investigate soon enough...

The Circus experience...was actually fun. Samael was taught to balance on a few things while he shot. He petted one of the lions. He even got to walk on the tightrope! He had never done anything like that before! Alexander ended up dragging himself to where Aya and Veran rested. He had been holding things and juggling them ALL DAY. One thing was to be a butler, another for kids and members to throw things at you for entertainment. "That...I never want to go through that...again..." Alexander panted, looking up at Veran and at Aya. "But I'm not here to complain. I am here to relay information." Alexander whispered, leaning in to Aya and Veran. "Samael managed to get all goodie goodie with one of the staff members and is currently on his way to help feed the deformed members of the circus. Hopefully he will get some information out of them before he's called back." Alexander whispered to the two. Meanwhile Samael followed a female staff member while wearing a jester outfit they had gotten for him, which he was more than happy to wear. "Oh you're too kind." The female staff member said, her cheeks flushing at Samael's smooth words. "I can't lie. You are truly beautiful. Your eyes would make even the richest noblewoman green with envy." Samael said, holding a basket of bread as he entered into a large tent. Inside there were cages, and inside of them, deformed beings of all ages. "Now don't tell anyone I let you in here! Just give them bread and move on, ok? I'm going to get them water." The female staff member said. "Alright. Hopefully the water will be as crystal clear as your eyes." Samael cooed as the staff member smiled and walked away. Samael's expression then hardened, walking over to the cages. Upclose and personal, they were truly hideous and terrible. It made him hesitant for a second. "Um..." Samael said, begining to then distribute the bread. "Hello. I am Samael. I came here to help you." Samael whispered. "Can you tell me what happened to you?"

Aya was about to fall over from exhaustion, Veran a bit exhausted himself.

Aya could probably beat Veran in a sword fight for real now, and had some more sense of acting.

Veran did...well everything. Literally everything the circus had to offer. He found sword swallowing possibly the most stupid thing humans have ever came up with.

Pointe walked over to the group with more clothes in her hand, giving Aya, Veran, and Alexander an outfit.

"These are your performing outfits. All of you will be included in tomorrow nights performance...but not tonight's show." Pointe informed.

"Do you only deliver clothes?" Aya asked.

Pointe shook her head. That's all it seemed she was good for.

The group was allowed to leave the tent and change into their costumes, Papillon finding them after they were changed.

"Ah!! Found you! I have come to give you guys your circus names! Every one of us has a unique name--and here are yours~" Papillon handed Veran a piece of paper that had names as listed.

Aya- Petite

Veran- Stronzo

Samael- Pitre

Alexander- Bouffon

Veran stared at the paper in front of him. Was this a joke?

"You realize what Stronzo translates into?" he asked rudely.

"Yes...it means asshole." Papillon said as he walked away.

Aya burst out laughing. At least her name was graceful.

The figures shifted. They hid their faces and glanced away at Samael. One young member spoke up, leaning closer of the cage. "We were formed this way." She spoke, sitting up. She had extra limbs, and one eye, the other one surgically removed as you could see the scarf where it once was. "We were all created to be part of the Freak Show." She explained. "Is it true that the circus has been kidnapping people to do this?" Samael asked. They nodded softly. "Yes. I was with my mother and father when I was taken away by one of the staff members. They told me I wouldn't see them again. Then they took me to the red carriage and...now I am a monster." The girl confessed. Samael blinked, looking around. All of these people were victims. How horrid. He extended his hand into the cage. "I am here with the Queen's Watchdog. I am here to help you. We're going to get you guys out of here and take care of the Circus. We won't allow them to hurt anyone anymore." Samael said as he proceeded to hand out the rest of the loafs of bread. "I just...we just need to come up with something." Samael said as he glanced up at them. "The red carriage. That is their most important prize. It contains everything they need for anything they do. Especially to deform us. It is the place of hell." An elderly one spoke. Samael blinked and nodded. "Understood." Samael said as he backed away to the entrance. There he watched the young woman walk in with water. "Did you give out the bread?" She asked. "Yes. It was interesting to see them up close. I should get going now, though. My partner will be wondering where I am." Samael said as he blew a kiss to the young woman and ran off.Alexander was laughing like crazy along side with Aya. "I should call you that from now on, Veran! It fits you so well!" Alexander said as he laughed. Oh this was too good. For the first time since they met Veran was being dragged across the dirt and over. It was just too precious. "You guys seem to be having fun." Samael said as he walked over to the group. His expression became serious as he huddled them together. "I spoke with the deformed. The rumors are true. We should target the red carriage. The most I can think is that while they are distracted, one of us takes the red carriage and makes a run for it somewhere more secluded. They will follow something that special, and that is when we can strike and get rid of them." Samael explained.

"Ah-- welcome back, Pitre~" Aya called to him, handing the paper to Samael.

They all looked rather good in their circus outfits, even if they were planning on overthrowing it.

"They are going to be having a performance tonight--we might be able to strike then." Veran informed, Aya a bit distracted by Samael.

"The red carriage is attached to the Ringmasters carriage...it was the leading carriage in the parade." Veran kept rambling, they talking soft.

"Who should go though?" Aya asked.

"We all should...it would be easier for all of us to go." Veran made the point of.

Aya nodded.

"As soon as the show begins, most the performers will be in the top...we will have to move fast, but we might be able to do it if we are quiet." she said, looking at Samael and Alexander.

"Is that a good plan?" she asked them.

Samael looked down at the names and ended up laughing loudly at Veran's. Oh man that was just precious! Then they heard the plan, Alexander and Samael nodding. "Well that would be a wonderful start. We take away what's causing the whole problem in the first place and then...how do you plan to fix it?" Alexander asked. He was now convinced that the only reason Aya got stuff done was because of Veran. "Well, once we take away the red carriage, it should be more than enough proof to have the police or the knights to further investigate and maybe even shut down the circus for good." Samael whispered, smiling at the group. "Let's make this work. We have one shot at this."Later that night the circus was at full swing once more. The staff was up and going, receiving guests and entertaining them all across the circus with all kinds of tricks, as well as keeping up with being able to provide with the demands in the merchandise stands. "Welcome everyone to the circus~" Samael cheered as he stood by one of the entrances. Wearing his jester costume, he held a handful of balloons ready to give away to children and adults alike. Children ran up to him, Samael giving them away with a smile. If he had not been born into his family, he would have definitely taken a different career like a teacher or something where he could talk with people more often. He even gave balloons to a few young women as well, welcoming them elegantly. "Enjoy the circus." Samael purred, causing a few of them to squeal here and there when he kissed their hands ever so gently. Alexander had been juggling for over 30 minutes, and kids kept throwing stuff at him to juggle. "H-Hey! Stop it!" Alexander hissed as one of them tried to throw a tack at him. The kids laughed as Alexander struggled, trying to keep his temper. Just a little more. They had to wait for the grand show to start, and they could book it!

Out of all things to be stuck with, Veran and Aya were running a food booth.

food booth! That sold funnel cakes!!

Veran made them with much skill, and Aya...sprinkled the powdered sugar on top. That was about all the cooking she had ever done.

Yes people liked their food booth, but why did Papillon give them THIS? Probably to keep them from getting into trouble.

Veran had a plates of funnel cakes stacked, Aya looking to him.

"Go find someone to take over." She called to him, Veran nodding.

It was loud enough in there, nobody would be able to overhear...plus the circus was stupid for thinking that they would stick to their jobs like that.

Veran believe it or not charmed his way into getting a woman and a man to come and help run the funnel cake shop, Veran pulling Aya out as they ran into help.

"We need to get Samael and Alexander." Aya reminded.

Veran nodded, him going to get Alexander and Aya going to get Samael. They would meet up at their tent.

Aya walked up to Samael, helping him give away the rest of the balloons quickly, then her pulling Samael back, Veran walking up to Alexander's act, applauding, giving him a look that was sure to stop anyone from concentrating.

Alexaner finished his trick, stacking the stuff up on a pile. "Thank you ladies and gentlemen, if you wish to see more I suggest you hurry to the main tent! The show is to begin shortly!" Alexander said as he backed away, grabbing Veran by the arm. "Thank god those kids were going to KILL ME." Alexander said as he walked to their tent with Aya and Samael. "You guys ready to go?" Alexander asked. "Yeah, we should be ready. If we make this successful maybe I would be able to get my crossbow back?" Samael whined a bit. "Of course Samael. But lets try to escape first." Alexander said as he glanced back up, watching as everyone entered the main tent for the show of the night. "This is our chance. We better get going." Alxander said. The group hurried over, using the shadows of the night to hide as they slipped to the red carriage. It was a very bright red, visible anywhere from far. The door was locked with chains and three different locks, and had no windows. It was eerie. "This should be it." Samael whispered as he climbed over to the metal part that connected it to the main carriage. Alexander hurried to check on the horses and get them ready for their big break. "We need to break this thing off. Veran, you're supernatural. Can you break it?" Samael asked as he pointed at the awfully strong metal connector.

Veran looked at the lock, he would be able to break it, its just it might be a bit loud. Hopefully the crowd and music would block out the noise. This place was locked tight.

"Stand back." Veran warned, rearing back and kicking the door, cracking the lock and chains open, breaking the door and letting them enter.

The place was disgusting.

Blood-stains paint the floors, tools of all kinds hanging up on the walls. There were human body parts just left on the ground, some of them rotting. It was overall just a disgusting site with so much to look at, but ever glance brought the feeling of vomit to your mouth.

"We need to get rid of this as soon as we can." Aya had to place her hand over her mouth to keep her from gagging.

If she had ate earlier...well that food would no longer be in her stomach.

"Alexander, Veran, Samael, let's get this done." she commanded.

"Yes, my lady..." Veran smirked, looking at Alexander.

Scourge had just put his lion away when he heard a rather loud sound coming from the red carriage, he began heading over there to make sure everything was okay.

Samael's eyes widened and he covered his mouth. It was absolutely horrid. Alexander looked back. "We're good to go." Alexander said. "Who's there?!" A voice yelled. Crap. Scourge! "We have to leave, NOW!" Samael yelled, looking over. "Alexander!" He called. Alexander jumped onto the carriage. "Hang on!" Alexander yelled, whipping the rains of the houses. The horses loudly responded, suddenly taking off. Samael grabbed onto Aya as the carriage took off, making sure she didn't fell off from the opening of the door. "Damn it all!" Scourge screamed as he failed in even reaching close to the carriage. Nimbus walked up. "What's going on?! The show is starting!" Nimbus yelled. "Tell Papillon that the prisoners have ran off with the RED CARRIAGE!" Scourge screamed. "WHAT?!" Nimbus asked, shrieking as well. "I'm going after them, tell Papillon to catch up once he's done!" Scourge ordered, running back to get his beloved lion. Meanwhile Alexander rode the carriage right out of the circus, tearing through one tent on the way. "Veran, take a hold of Aya." Samael said as he held onto one of the railings of the carriage. "This better not go on my resume." Alexander murmured under his breath, running through the streets of London, taking the most isolated routes to the outside. If they could close them in the dense forests that surrounded the city, they had a chance. Samael glanced back, his eyes gleaming as he spotted something in the dark behind them. "...is that...a lion?" Samael asked. As they turned their heads, they saw the biggest big cat any of them had ever seen. That thing was absolutely TERRIFYING. And it was running right at them, while Scourge rode on its back. Samael looked up. "We have a chaser! Lose them!" Samael asked. "I'm trying!" Alexander hissed, turning sharp corners as the lion didn't hesitate to follow, taking the sharp corners with ease, even using the walls as leverage. "Get them now!" Scourge yelled, the lion roaring as it sped up the pace. Just as they were going to cross a bridge, the lion ran up to the side, and with a single push, slammed its body against the carriage, sending it flying along with the horses. The horses whined loudly as the wood of the carriage cracked, the thing flipping over a bunch of times with the group holding on with what they could. One of the wheels shattered into two, another lost pieces of it. By the time it stopped spinning, the horses had ran off, and the group was scattered all along next to the screwed up carriage. Alexander held his head. "Damn..." Alexander hissed, looking up. "He...We have to go!" Alexander said, seeing scourge about to catch up. His eyes darted to Samael, and his heart sunk. Samael coughed, groaning as his body remained pinched underneath the carriage. It wasn't painful...but there was no way of getting him out without the effort needed of the time they didn't have. Samael looked up. "Veran! Grab them and run!"

Veran had Aya under his grasp to keep her safe from the downfall of the carriage. This was bad. They had no time.

Scourge was there, Melodia and Pointe also. They stood just feet from Veran, Alexander and Aya.

Veran quickly stood up, grabbing Aya and hoisting her up on his shoulder in a quick motion, grabbing Alexanders arm.

"You heard him we have no time!!" Veran yelled, pulling Alexander away from Samael.

Veran began bolting off.

"S-Samael!" Aya called out as she was being forced along by Veran.

"We will come back for you!" she said, a gunshot then echoing in the night.

Melodia had shot Veran, right on his shoulder blade, a bit too close to Aya.

His muscle managed to stop the bullet from reaching Aya, but it shut her up, her turning her attention to Veran, who bit his lip hard, them quickly vanishing into the forest, Veran headed straight to the river so they could mask their scent from the Lion.

Scourge let out a sound almost like a hiss.

"You take the boy back to Papillon...I'll go look for the others. I just hope you managed to get the girl, Melodia." he jumped back on his lion, then heading out into the forest after Veran, Aya, and Alexander.

Melodia and Pointe were left with Samael.

Samael frowned. After the gunshot Aya had gone quiet. He hoped that they had missed. Dear goodness let them miss! Samael looked up as Melodia and Pointe looked down at him, obviously angry and upset over what had just occured. The carriage was messed up! They would have to fix it once they hauled it back. That could set them back on their schedule big time. "I knew we should have just killed them off!" Melodia hissed, kicking at Samael's head over and over again, only getting grunts and ows from Samael. "Papillon is going to be so mad at us. We should have kept watch over them more or something. One thing is them escaping another one is them stealing the carriage." Pointe complained. Nimbus eventually stopped kicking Samael, once she saw his nose was beginning to become bloody. "Come on. We have to take this kid back along with the carriage." She said. With some effort, they managed to barely pull Samael out from underneath the carriage. Nothing was broken...yet. Nimbus wrapped one of her rings around Samael, keeping him tied up with it. "Papillon will decide what to do with this one." Nimbus said. Pointe agreed, looking down at Samael. "Pity. You had such great talents. You could have definitely gotten far with us." Pointe said, and so they walked back to the cirrus, the carriage along with them. They just hoped Papillon would direct his rage more at Samael than at them.Alexander was screaming. Samael! Samael! They had just LEFT him! His MASTER! "Veran you @$$ let me go WE HAVE TO GO BACK!" Alexander screamed. He could care less if they got caught by the giant lion. He was so ashamed. He hadn't been able to defend Samael. Now he could be dead, or worse, and he couldn't do anything about it! It sucked real bad. "We can't just leave him they might deform him VERAN!"

Veran stopped in his tracks, his hand letting go of Alexander but then imminently falling onto his face and grabbing his cheeks with his hand.

"Shut the hell up. We are going to get Samael as soon as we get that beast master off our f---ing tail. I know they could deform him, and is why we need to hurry. Whining about it isn't going to get you anywhere." Veran's eyes were the gleaming red of demons eyes, his fangs showing when he talk.

Aya had her hand on Veran's gunshot wound, trying to keep it from bothering Veran too much.

The group kept running through the forest until they came up on the river.

"Everyone dive in, quickly now!!" Veran commanded, mostly to Alexander.

He pulled off the jacket that went with the circus outfit, tossing it aside as Aya began pulling some of the layers of her clothes off, only leaving her chemise and underclothes on, Veran down to his long, Oxford shirt, both of them diving into the river.

It was a bit deep, but not drowning deep, at least 4 ft at the deepest part.

Doing this would stop their scent, which would make the lion loose track of them.

Sure enough, Scourge's lion stopped, unable to find where ever Veran and the group went, him heading back to the circus.

Once Melodia, Numbus, and Pointe arrived back, Papillon was waiting for them.

"So you're the one who ends up getting left behind? You have amazing talent too...but sadly we are going to ruin all of that for you." Papullon gave a deranged smile, looking down at Samael.

"You've got a pretty face...what if I ruined that for you?" He looked over to Nimbus.

"We can use the infirmary for him since they ran off with our tools..." he informed, shooing Nimbus and the others along, dragging Samael with them.

Alexander just stripped. He only left an undershirt and underpants on before diving right into the coldest water he had ever had the misfortune to dive into. "For a demon you suck at your job." Alexander muttered, his figure shaking. " 'Demons are powerful beings from the depths of hell derived from the original fallen angel, who was so powerful he was oneof God's favorite angels! They are powerful enough to tempt humans into the darkest of sins, and can cause situations into their favor' MY @$$!" Alexander hissed, quoting one of Samael's books from his private collection. "Aya I am going to say it right now. Out of all the demons of hell, you got stuck with the suckiest one yet." Alexander said. There was laughter, and suddenly a flash. "What the-?!" Alexander hissed. "This one's going to my personal blog when it exists." A familiar voice said. "Send me a copy." Another familiar voice said. At the edge of the river sat two familiar Grim Reapers. Gigermo and Nikolai sat in a casually set up table set. Nikolai was eating some sweets that he had gotten all the way from Germany while Gigermo held a large camera in his hand. "Whenever I see you guys you're always on the move! Isn't it exhausting for you guys? If I were you I would take a well deserved vacation. Maybe even a cruise." Gigermo said. "A cruise sounds wonderful." Nikolai said as he ate the sweets. These two were definitely not the pride and joy of the Grim Reaper Academy.Samael gasped once he realized what would happen to him. He would be deformed. Crap. And now that they were angry, heavens knows what they will try out on him! He could certainly live with a missing eye and limbs...if he isn't killed by the town thinking he's a demon first! Samael struggled, pulling and kicking around. "You're monsters! Whatever do you gain from ding this to people?!" Samael hissed. "What wouldn't we? We gain money, and we also gain popularity. "This is cruel!" Samael insisted. Suddenly Papillon was at his face. "The world is cruel. If you aren't born lucky, then life won't be lucky to you back. So all we do is take the luck out of those who don't deserve it in the first place." Papillon hissed, sending chills down Samael's spine. Samael stared in horror, as he was dragged off into the infirmary, closing up the tent.

Veran brought his head up from the water, Aya letting herself up after him. Veran then stood up and got out of the river, helping Aya out and covering her shaking body with his jacket, that was for the most part dry, but just a little bloody from the gunshot wound. Thankfully the wound did not seem to be bothering Veran that much...the thing that was bothering Veran the most was Alexander. He has had enough of it.

"Alexander you can shut the hell up." Veran growled at the other butler, Aya stepping back from the two.

"Do you think I could have seen this coming? The answer to that is no!!" Veran stepped closer to Alexander.

"You better be damn happy I am actually making an effort to save your master, the only reason I am saving him is because Aya loves him!" the demon had his fangs bared at Alexander, Aya pulling on Veran's sleeve.

"We have some company." Aya informed, looking at Veran with a look that told him to stop fighting with Alexander.

Veran turned around. Oh great. Reapers!

"Please tell me that Samael Pandora is not on your little list for tonight?" Veran demanded.

Meanwhile, Nimbus had Samael tied down onto one of the infirmary beds.

"It looks like your little friends wont be coming to get you...too bad." she taunted, looking over at Papillon.

"You do whatever you need to do, but don't be gentle." Nimbus walked back away from Samael, letting Papillon walk over to him.

If the reapers hadn't showed up Alexander would have tried to start a fist fight against Veran. The reapers waved their hand. "You know how these things go, Veran! Things can change at any time depending on the actions that one chooses! However, no, Samael's death date is not today!" Gigermo said as he flipped through his notebook. "But if you don't hurry back, then you might not see the same Samael you left behind." Girgemo cooed, not particularly worried. Nikolai crossed his arms. "You were asked to get rid of the problem and instead of doing such you have ended up with a bigger problem than before, letting the enemy know everything about you and even allowing it to capture one of your own. You aren't the sharpest tool in the shed once you are left in the light, Aya." Nikolai said as he ate some more. Out of the two, Gigermo was the way more cheerful one. "But~ You might have a chance to get rid of the heads of the circus and help me with my job!" Gigermo cheered. Nikolai opened one eye. "The main Circus members, the ones in charge of the mutilations, are going to do one of their special shows again. This is the chance to get rid of the problem." Nikolai explained as he pointed at a random direction. "The circus has benefited most from selling tickets to the underground special shows; where they mutilate their captured members while conscious and in front of a live audience. There is an abandoned housing building just north of the city. Their next show, the mutilation of Lord Pandora, will be held there, with a large audience waiting to see a live transformation from human to monster. Samael being the guinea pig in the experiment. There is even an extra cost if an audience member wishes to do the first cut." Nikolai explained as he calmly finished his treat. "All of the members will be present. I would suggest you hurry and kill them, get your boyfriend out, and set the place on fire and walk away." Nikolai finished. "Nikolai said that he would take care of the deformed while you got rid of the bad guys!" Gigermo said. Well. Maybe the Grim Reapers weren't that bad.

"I usually don't say this to reapers, but thank you." Veran commented, still pissed off.

He turned to Alexander.

"Let's go get him, destroy the circus, and come back and get out things. I'll have the circus grounds cleared out by morning, just like they 'moved out'." Veran reached over and grabbed Alexander again, he then pulling Aya up onto his shoulder.

"I'm sure you can track Samael's scent." Aya said softly to Veran, him nodding, and running off towards the north end of the city.

Papillon, and the other circus members had Samael loaded onto a carriage, and as Papillon headed off, the entire circus, everyone but the freak show members were starting to load themselves into a carriage, the entire circus headed to their north house at full speed, taking a back route that would get them there quicker.

Papillon and the group got there earlier than Veran did, the carriages circled around a rather large, old, wooden structure that could have even been a theater in the past. It was very old, and was lit on the inside with candles. The place was definitely some very old theater, Papillon, and the main crew entering and rolling Samael onto a stage.

"This is where you will meet your end boy...it's a pity it wasn't that demon..." Papillon was handed a piece of cloth by Nimbus, which was then tied around Samael's head and used to cover his mouth.

"We will have a large audience! All here to witness the mutilation of Earl Samael Pandora!!" Papillon laughed, the theater echoing.

Gigermo and Nikolai walked into the tent of the deformed within the Circus. They were all asleep. Gigermo frowned, looking around as he took out his notebook. "How horrible." Gigermo said. "They never deserved any of this." Gigermo sighed as he looked at Nikolai. "You lied to them, you know. When you said that you would take care of them, I do not think they thought of this." He admitted. Nikolai took out his whip from his hip. "So? They're on schedule anyways. Even if they end up living, where would they go? What would happen to them? You think that their families would take them back, as they were?" Nikolai asked, glaring up at the older Grim Reaper. Gigermo shrugged his shoulders. "I...do not know. Times have changed I guess." Gigermo said. "You are right. Time has changed, but one thing hasn't; the madness and evil of humanity...they have suffered enough. They will be better in a world beyond this one." Nikolai insisted as he walked closer to the cages, his whip cracking in his hand. The sound of his whip echoed across the tent, memories and cinematic records flying out into the sky as Gigermo captured them. By the time a circus staff heard the whipping and hurried to the tent, it was too late. The cages were empty, no trace of the deformed or the perpetrator left behind. The only thing left in their place being white roses painted red with blood.Samael could only hear the cheers, the countless of voices as the people cheered and watched. Papillon smiled. "The bidding for the first cut will begin now! Now how about we start at 20,000 pounds!" Papillon said. Samael heard as the bidding began to grow as the people screamed. Samael breathed heavy as he heard one bidder being chosen. He heard the cheers and the sound of footsteps closing near. "Just cut down where you think we should begin." Papillon said with glee, handing the volunteer a sharp surgical knife. Samael whimpered as he felt his shirt opened up, exposing his skin. "Look at these scars!" Nimbus cooed. Samael didn't know what he felt worse of; embarrassed that these people were looking at his old scars, or the fact that he was about to be tortured through live surgery. Well, life was good while it lasted. Samael felt the piercing pain as the volunteer dug the knife into his skin, before roughly pulling down on it, cutting down to open up. As the hall awed, Samael let out a painful, muffled scream. If Veran continued to carry him any further Alexander would have to ask him to take him out to dinner, at least. They reached their destination, the place looking abandoned save for the muffled voices inside and the candles seen in the windows. They had lots of openings, including right on the roof to fall right down into the stage, or a cracked window that could be easy to break if you jumped through just right. From the muffled silence they could easily hear a voice screeching out above the rest. A voice of pain. "No, Samael!" Alexander panicked.

"Alexander you are going to have to be quiet!" Veran snapped at the man, moving close to the building before jumping up on it, as quietly as possible. Veran climbed up to the room, looking down through the cracked window. They had cut Samael already. They had to move, NOW. The demon stepped onto the glass, the top of the stage dimming in light. A loud crack could be heard from across the theater. Many audience members looked up, and as soon as they looked up, Veran came crashing in from the roof, Aya and Alexander in Veran's hands. His eyes were blood red and full of frustration, setting Alexander and Aya down, Aya rushing over to Samael, untying the cloth from his mouth. Veran grabbed the volunteers wrist, and snapped it back, making the surgical knife stab him in the eye. He did not have a weapon, so this little knife would have to work. He swiveled around, pointing it at Papillon. "Did you really think you could get rid of us?" Veran drew the knife back before Papillon could react, ramming it through his chest, and leaving a clean hole through his sternum. The main cast blew up in attack on Veran, it was no use to attack Alexander and Aya, as they couldn't kill the entire place as fast as Veran could. They landed more shots on the demon, it barely phasing him. Papillon fell back, in complete shock, probably to die of bleeding out very soon. Some audience members started to scream and try to escape, but in a flash, the doors blew up, Veran had control of the fire from the candles. The exits were blocked and every candle that was lit was now flaming like a wildfire, The only exit was the roof, which was impossible for a human to get too.The theater would be entirely engulfed in flames within minuets. Veran cut off the restraints from Samael, pulling the poor boy onto his shoulder, grabbing Alexander next and throwing him under his arm, and lastly pulling Aya up with her legs at his neck and her hands on his head. This was a new record for being able to carry people. Veran jumped up full force up to roof, through the window he came in from, hopping down and at a demonic speed back into the forest, setting everyone down when they were a ways away, Aya immediately turning to Samael. She honestly felt horrible, only really able to look at him, tears welling up in her eyes. Veran spaced himself from Alexander, ready to take whatever hell he was going to be hit with.Aya as feeling a large bit of guilt. Samael had gotten hurt because of her. She should have never brought him. Now he was in front of her in Alexander's arms, injured and exposed. She was able to see the boys bare skin, and the scars that covered his body, his blood seeping from a wound that was caused because they could not save him in time. "S-Samael..I'm sorry." She muttered, avoiding direct eye contact with him. Could Samael, or even Alexander forgive them?

Alexander held Samael, quickly removed the restrictions and holding him close as he felt tears fall from his cheeks. "I'm so sorry, Samael!" Alexander said as he pressed his face against Samael's head. Samael groaned as he opened his eyes, looking up at Alexander and smiled. "Hey, Alexander." Samael said with a chuckle as he felt his cheek. "I guess we shouldn't attend a circus for a while now, huh?" Samael joked, trying to keep the positive mood despite everything being so heavy and sad and simply agonizing, especially the deep cut on his skin that would now adorn his body along with the childhood scars from his past. He heard Aya's delicate voice. He quickly turned to her, noticing the guilt written all over her face. He quickly pushed himself up, crawling over at Aya's side as he gently lifted her face. He was smiling. "Hey, it's fine." Samael said as he reassured her, rubbing her head. "That was unavoidable. Being with the Watchdog comes with consequences, you know. I accepted those chances when I decided to be your friend, you know?" Samael said as he pulled Aya closer, pressing his forehead against hers. "Don't be sorry. You've got a tough job. These are just little sacrifices made for the sake of a better world under the rule of the queen." Samael said as he kept any pain from showing, despite bleeding from the wound. He chuckled and glanced up. "Hey, I'll get a cool scar out of it. Maybe I can use it to impress someone and say it was from a cool adventure or something." Samael laughed. He looked up at Veran. "Mister Veran, you should take Aya home. She must be exhausted." Samael said as he stood up and helped Aya stand up. "I'll head home and do a quick report to the queen to let her know that the perpetrators have been taken cared of." Samael said as he gently held Aya's hand.

Aya wiped her tears away with her left hand, then turning to Samael as he helped her stand up, her face either red from blushing or tearing up some.

"I will contact you first thing in the morning. Please take care of yourself." Aya turned her tone serious, bowing her head to Samael.

Veran made his way over to Alexander and the group.

"I will get back our belongings tonight, and clean up the circus grounds. Nobody other than the Queen and us will know what happened." Veran informed, pulling Aya up once again in his arms. "Expect your things back by morning, Lord Pandora." Veran bowed to him, his eyes then glancing towards Alexander.

The look itself was a bit frightening, it was one that screamed at Alexander to take better care of Samael.

"Goodnight." he concluded, turning around and walking towards the direction of the Everus manor.

It was mostly silent on the way back, but Veran spoke up at one point.

"You crying is pathetic." he admit.

Aya let out a long sigh.

"I am only human, Veran...and I care about Samael. I do not want him to die because of my actions." Aya hit the demon upside the head.

"Hey...don't hit me, I already am going to have a blast getting these bullets out of me." Veran snapped at his master.

"I bet if I died you would cry, even if you are a pathetic demon." Aya crossed her arms, looking at the man.

Veran let out a chuckle.

"I wonder if I would."

Alexander hurried Samael home, where they were greeted by Catarina and the rest of the servants, who were beyond worried and relieved once they saw their little master return home. After taking a well deserved bath and being bandaged up, Samael proceeded to write a letter to the Queen. 'I don't want you to go with them anymore' Alexander said, insistent that Samael just stayed here and stay out of trouble and danger. The servants backed this up, much to Samael's dismay. What was the fun of being locked up all day, though?...though dying wasn't that fun either, he guessed. He sealed up the letter with his family emblem before handing it over to Catarina. "Speedy delivery." Samael said with a smile. "Yes sir." Catarina said as she ran off to deliver the letter personally. Samael thought about the adventure...that was the most dangerous thing he had ever done in his life. But in the end Aya and him were alive, so it was fine...well, they were. Everyone else in that building was another story, though. "Man I wish I could have kept that tiger, though. It was so cute!" Samael muttered to himself. He stood up from his desk, walking over to his bookshelf. He picked out a journal hidden among the big books and brought it over the desk, flipping it open as he began to write again.'Dear diary, you will not believe what happened to us today!...'...By the time Veran and Aya arrived back at the manor, Wulfric and Lazarus were asleep ontop one another in the main hall. On Wulfirc's side, there were pieces of cloth roughly cut into shapes of animals with paint and buttons for eyes. On Lazarus' side, pieces of cloth delicately painted with tea cups and treats in bright pastel colors. Wulfirc snored loudly as Lazarus slept like he was already dead, not making a single sound as he held onto Wulfirc. Behold the staff of the Evarus manor, everyone.
