Biography- Aya lost her virginity at the age of 10 years old to her father's brother, Charles. Due to her parent's work, her mother running a clothing line and her father working for the Queen, they were completely unaware.
Aya was continuously sexually abused by her uncle's hand, and too scared to speak up about it. It only grew worse when Aya's mother died due to fever.
After Viscount Alexander Everus was killed, Uncle Charles insisted he was chosen as the new watchdog. The Queen refused, for Charles was a second born. Uncle Charles was furious, and Aya was thrown out into the streets.
A brothel picked Aya up, however she at first did not know that they were not only a brothel, but ALSO a cult. They were against the Queen, and held interest in black magic. After Charles happened to step into the brothel one day, he informed the owner that Aya was an Everus.
They instantly treated Aya like slum, making her work for them as a prostitute. This happened on her 15th birthday. Charles started working for the brothel, and made Aya's life hell. That is when she made her decision. She wished things were like back then, before her abuse. Aya "accidentally" summoned something she would regret for the rest of her life, using the black magic of the cult. She summoned the high demon, "Veran Sterben".

-The Next Day-

Samael decided that he would sleep in for once, especially with the absolute hell that they all went through in that mission. It could have been worse, but it was alot for the little heir, who was more than happy to rest in bed. A letter from the Queen had arrived to be delivered to Aya, however Catarina took the duty to deliver as Alexander wasn't about to let anyone wake Samael up. Catarina hurried to the Evarus mannor. Before she could knock on the door she could already tell something was going on and about. She could hear Wulfric and Lazarus barking at each other from the inside. Catarina simply allowed herself inside, walking in to see that they were...trying to clean? "How am I suppose to collect the cobwebs if you don't throw me properly?!" Lazarus screamed. "Well it's not like I do this o a daily basis! Why would you collect something so disgusting anyways?!" Wulfric groaned. "For your information cobwebs are amazing for clothing blood and wounds! They are rich in vitamin K! Now THROW ME and stop COMPLAINING ABOUT IT." Lazarus hissed at his counterpart. This time Wulfric didn't hesitate. He just threw Lazarus up into the air without much effort. Lazarus reached his hands up, as it seemed to have worked, geting Lazarus high enough to grab onto the cobwebs...though a little bit too high as suddenly-THUNK! Lazarus hit his head on the cieling, groaning as he fell back down. "Oh shoot oh shoot I GOT YOU!" Wulfric screamed as he threw himself onto the floor to catch the falling Lazarus. He didn't catch him. But Lazarus did end up landing on his back, breaking the fall. Catarina gently facepalmed. "I cannot believe..." She hissed. If the queen saw this she would be so confused. Were these the servants of the most dangerous person in London?...yes. But that didn't matter. The letter in her hand was written as such;'Dear Aya,I am sorry for troubling you so quickly after a successful mission, especially of what happened at the Circus, according to Samael's report. However this matter is urgent on a personal matter. The coastal village of Bamburgh has been having trouble with the disappearances of children. At first I suspected it had to do with the Circus, but they had never frequented the area. The police and my own royal guards have been conducting investigations, but to no avail. Just a few days ago I received a letter regarding my dear nephew, as one of the missing children was his own son, Ezekiel. He has been gone for over a week, and I fear that more children will end up disappearing and soon, there won't be anymore children in the village. I ask of you to go to the village and join forces with the lead investigator of the case, Jane Armstrong, and get to the bottom of this. Good luck, Aya.-Queen Victoria'.

"SHUT THE HELL UP." Veran yelled sharply at Lazarus and Wulfric.

Aya was upstairs and there was a guarantee fact that she could hear these madmen, acting like complete idiots.

"Next time you want to get something down from a high place...get me instead of doing it yourselves!!" the demon hissed at the two, his hand then pointing to Catarina, the two completely unaware she entered.

"Just do what jobs you need to do, and don't tear this mansion apart! It is old!" Veran gave one last bark at them before turning to Catarina.

"Sorry Catarina." Veran apologized with a bow, grabbing up the letter from her.

"Please do me a favor and return these to Lord Pandora and Alexander. I did not harm them in any way." the demon handed Catarina Samael's folded up crossbow, and the pocket watch.

"Is Samael okay? I'm sure Aya will want to know..." Veran then asked.

Aya, on the other hand, was upstairs, forced awake by Lazarus and Wulfric-- having the urge to go and just slap them both, but that stopped as soon as she could hear Veran yelling. They were all being loud.

Wulfric and Lazarus squinted their eyes at Veran. When Veran yelled, he usually meant what he yelled. But they still couldn't take him seriously. Only due to the fact that he was leashed by Aya like a puppy, and as long as they remained on Aya's good side, they felt that they could survive. "Look at him, screaming at me after getting my papa killed." Lazarus said saltily as he grabbed his cobwebs. "Come on Wulfric lets go outside, that's where the COOL servants go." Lazarus said as he walked away, Wulfric following behind Lazarus on his four. Catarina rolled her eyes as she took the items. "He is fine. The injury though long, wasn't very deep. You interrupted just in time before it could do any real damage. He decided to sleep in today, actually." Catarina said as she bowed her head. "Thank you for recovering these items. I will get it to them at once. I d feel bad that you will have to do a mission right away after what happened." Catarina said as she glanced out the window to see Wulfric in his werewolf form, wagging his tail as he followed Lazarus around. "And that you have to deal with those two." Catarina added. She smiled at Veran. "I will get going. I wish you good luck." Catarina said. She then got on her tiptoes and pecked Veran's cheek, before covering her face with a flush and running off. By this point Lazarus and Wulfric were pressing their faces against the nearest window. "Look at this anti romantic Dracula looking piece of flesh." Lazarus murmured.

"I am not a servant!!" Veran yelled to them as they left.

Veran turned to Catarina.

"Aya can deal with another mission...and those two just don't know how to keep their mouths shut honestly." he commented to Catarina.

"Tell Samael Aya said hi~" Veran waved goodbye to her.

He had his heart set on someone else...his meal.

Veran closed the door, locking it.

The two couldn't get back in from the front now. He moved to the window and punched the window, not breaking it, just punching it.

Aya walked out of her room and to the top of the stairs, seeing Veran punching the window.

"What has been going on this morning?" she asked.

Veran swiftly turned to her.

"The boys have been causing ruckus...I also have a letter from the Queen for you. Samael is okay and is sleeping in. I gave Catarina their items...and I have your gun." Veran pulled Aya's gun from his belt, handing it to her along with the letter.

Aya took it, cocking it and pointing it at Veran. He couldn't help but chuckle as she read the letter to herself.

"This is pretty urgent..." she muttered, handing the letter to Veran again and turning towards the stairs.

"Let's get ready, I wouldn't want the Queen's nephew to be killed by some crazy scheme...and if he dies...well there goes my position." Aya looked at Veran with a threatening look.

"Don't kill people so freely this time around. Let's get ready." she snapped at him, walking up the stairs.

Veran sighed and smiled...yes, this was the person he had his heart set on.

There was a time when I was alone
Nowhere to go and no place to call home
My only friend was the man in the moon
An even sometimes he would go away, too

"Goodnight my dear."
"Goodnight mommy!"

Then one night, as I closed my eyes,
I saw a shadow flying high
He came to me with the sweetest smile
Told me he wanted to talk for a while

The young girl opened her eyes to the shadow standing out against the moonlight, rising against her floor. She sat up, rubbing her eyes as she held onto her favorite doll. She followed the shadow with her eyes, seeing the dark shadowy figure in the window. She blinked a few times before crawling out of her bed and walking to the window. "It's you again." She whispered, extending her arms and clicking the window lock open. The shadowy figure slowly opened the window, nodding down at the little girl.

He sprinkled me in pixie dust and told me to believe
Believe in him and believe in me
Together we will fly away in a cloud of green
To your beautiful destiny

The figure extended its arm, offering it to the young girl, his hands looking like bones or branches instead of actual hands. The girl blinked and hugged her stuffed doll. "Really? Is it fun?" The girl asked. The figure hummed, speaking to the girl in a language that he allowed her to understand. "Oh that does sound fun! I won't get in trouble, will I?" She asked. The figure hummed again, looking up out the window at the view of the shore. "Hm...ok! I guess I could go for a little bit!" The little girl said, setting down her doll on the floor besides the window. "Watch over mommy and daddy for me, ok Ms.Muffin?" The little girl cooed at her doll. She then turned to the figure, taking his hand as he helped her up to the window. "Let's go, mister Boogyeman!"

Neverland is home to lost boys like me

And lost boys like me are free

The sun rose on the horizon, the young mother knocking on the door of her daughter's bedroom. "Time to get up!" The mother said cheerfully, opening the door to expect her daughter still asleep. However the room was empty, the bed unmade. "Dear?" Her mother asked, looking around the room. Her eyes landed on the doll resting on the floor, and the wide open window that was closed up the night before. Her eyes widened in horror, realization kicking in as she screamed, her little girl was yet another victim. She was gone.

And lost boys like me are free!

Veran helped Aya get ready, her changing into a beige dress with dark green accents, a cream white long-sleeved blouse underneath, her hair tied up to a ponytail in a dark green ribbon, and brown shoes and white tights to match. Veran made her a small bag, and the two headed out to the carriages.

"We are handling a very important mission involving the Queen's nephew...please...please watch my manor...and don't destroy anything." Aya commanded the two.

"Also...Lazarus, I liked the design you made...just tone it down some next time." she said, Veran coming out with the carriage.

She was there for a night and then gone yet again.

Veran followed the directions on the map, and they would arrive shortly.

Aya's dress cause whoop: http://www.my-lolita-dress.com/media/catalog/product/cache/1/image/650x/040ec09b1e35df139433887a97daa66f/y/o/yolanda-berry-river-strawberry-prints-lolita-jumper-dress-yo-33_7.jpg

The village was a beautiful little thing. Peaceful, full of working families, it was a shock that anything so drastic as children disappearing could be happening some place like here, so far away from the dangers and bustles of the city. Everyone was friendly, yet wary. The children kept disappearing, and no one wanted to have their family be the next victim of whatever was going on. Veran and Aya arrived at the village where they were quickly met up with a woman in uniform the moment they stepped in. She rode a white horse, riding right up next to the carriage. "Hold it right there! Identify yourselves." The woman said as she rode in front of the horses, making them stop on their tracks. "Forgive me for intruding, but this community is on high alert due to the disappearances. So everyone coming in is needed to identify themselves." The woman said as she rode up to the window, glancing at Veran as she knocked on the window gently. "I am Jane Armstrong. Detective of this town. Please state your name and business." Jane asked, her look stren and refusing to back down. The carriage wasn't familiar or seen here before. It was too high class. Too delicate and rather expensive looking compared to the more simple ones used in the village, so of course they had to be from out of town.

As they drove into the Village, Veran made sure to take in everything, instantly hunting for any presence out of the ordinary. He was quickly stopped however by the woman known as Jane Armstrong-- perfect.

Veran brought the horses trotting to a stop, Aya pulling down the window.

"Aya Everus-- you should know what I'm here for." she pulled the Queen's letter, showing Ms. Armstrong the seal.

"We were supposed to meet up with you." Veran spoke up, looking back to her.

"Do you have a place we could go that is more private? This is personal business with the Queen so I'd like to assure the safety of her nephew...it could cost me my job, or worse if he is not safe." Aya then asked, emphasizing how important this mission actually was.

Jane inspected the seal, and nodded at the young girl. "I see. I expected the Queen's Watchdog to be...older. No matter, time to get to work." Jane said, sharing the urgency with Aya. "Follow me to the station." Jane said, hurrying off a she rode her horse to the nearby police station. When they got there, Jane led them into the building, where the police were filing reports after reports all while trying to keep up with their normal shifts. Jane let them inside her office. "In here please." Jane said, closing the door behind them as she walked over and sat behind her desk. "As you know, there have been disappearances happening here, targeting specifically at children." Jane said as she reached down and pulled out a bunch of folders before slamming them down on the desk for Aya and Veran. Each one being the profile of each disappearing case with pictures of the missing. "All of them are around the ages of 14 and 5 years old. They were all kidnapped at night after being put to bed, disappearing by the next morning. There are only a pair of footprints in each scene, belonging to the child, and in most cases, it is either the window or their wardrobes that are found open when they were suposed to be closed. There are no leads or evidence of where could they be, or what could be taking the children." Jane explained as she pulled out one final profile. "Only one child has returned, and even after interrogating for answers, the child's answers are, well, childish. They have no value in helping us, in all honesty." Jane said, sounding rather frustrated. Their only lead was a victim who told tales that couldn't possibly be true...right?

  • Author

"Do the children have any other similarities other than their ages?" Aya asked, starting to look though the papers.

Veran listened well to Ms. Armstrong.

"Ms. Armstrong...could we by chance talk to the child? Even if it is 'childish' answers, its best we at least listen to the kid." Veran proposed, his eyes looking straight into hers.

"It would do some good talking to this kid. I may be younger...but that doesn't mean I am stupid. I could use the evidence...and maybe we could find some connections between these kidnappings." Aya placed the papers down and then looked over at Ms. Armstrong.

"Can we do that?" she then asked.

Jane nodded. "Of course. The child is in our custody, currently. We have been still trying to find an answer out of what the child is saying. Maybe you two would be able to get something useful out of the child. He was found in his bed, asking for his mother saying he was hungry. He had no scratches or bruises or even a single hair missing from him. Whoever took him didn't left a random note or even harmed him." Jane said as she stood up. "So far the only connection is that they all have been kidnapped straight from their rooms, and that has been no struggle in all cases." Jane said as she stood up. "Come with me." She said, leading them outside the office. She walked them over to a waiting room. Inside a young boy played with a bunch of toys, his parents sitting on chairs as they watched over him in relief. He had been gone for over two weeks before he had miraculously appeared on his own bed one night, waking up and asking for breakfast as if nothing had happened. "This is the child. His name is Edgar. Hopefully you will be able to get something useful out of him." Jane said as she walked in. "Edgar, these are some investigators that wish to ask you a few questions." Jane said as she looked up at the boy's parents. "After they are done we will allow you to take him back home." Jane said as she looked over at the two. "Get going then." She asked them sternly. Edgar looked up at Veran and at Aya, awing at how tall Veran was. "You're so tall!" He pointed out happily.

  • Author

They had been kidnapped straight from their rooms. Only a certain age range. Aya wouldn't be able to put herself up for grabs. She'd have to shadow a kid for the night if she wanted to see the culprit.

As Veran and Aya walked into the room with Ms. Armstrong, Aya looked over at the parents and smiled a bit.

She then got on her knees and sat beside Edgar.

"He is tall isn't he?" she added to the comment on Veran's height, Veran having to hold himself back from making a rude comment.

"Hello Edgar. I am Aya...and that is Veran. I work for someone very special, and she doesn't know where her nephew went. She thinks that her nephew went where you went." Aya said in a gentle, charming voice.

Veran did not sit down, he simply stood there.

The kid was cheerful as ever, but the only one to come back.

"My first question is...do you know who took you? Could you maybe draw him?" Aya asked, pulling some paper off the near by kids table, handing him a bit of paint and a paint.

"Were there other kids there as well?" she asked, wetting the paintbrush and drying it real fast.

"Also...why did you come back?" Aya asked her final question.

The boy was only a kid, she couldn't ask too many questions.

Edgar nodded. "The Boogeyman!" He said. His parents looked at each other worryingly as he heard the same answer he had given before. Edgar picked up a few drawings that he had made and showed them to Aya. The drawings included of a strange man that stood in his room, and then of how this strange man played with him and other children. Edgar began to paint the man responsible, the one he called the Boogeyman. The man wore a dark cloak, and wore a white mask over his face that covered his eyes, and had horns too, according to the drawing. "Everyone is there! We get to play all the time and eat lots of treats and foods! And there are weird animals too!" The boy squeaked, smiling as he finished his drawing. "We all like it there." Edgar added. He crossed his arms, looking surprised at the question. "I came back because I missed mommy. So he brought me back and told me I could go visit him whenever I wanted! I just had to call for him again!" The young boy giggled. "We have tried contacting this Boogeyman and he never showed up." Jane scoffed. "Because you scared him. He doesn't like adults! Adults are mean to him." Edgar insisted, making it sound as if it was the most obvious thing ever. "His favorite treats are chocolate chip cookies." Edgar said as he added a plate of such cookies to the drawing. Jane looked over at Veran and Aya with a look that said 'see what I mean'.

  • Author

Veran and Aya did not look at the child in any mean way. Out of what they have seen, this could actually be a true statement. Veran leaned down some, looking at the pictures.

"Is it okay if I take these?" he asked, looking at the picture of the 'boogeyman'.

According to this description, it almost seems like this 'boogeyman' could be a demon...a demon in its true form.

However he would be off. Demons usually take advantages of souls, and would not let anyone out of their grasp.

"Can you tell me how to contact The Boogeyman? If he is scared of adults...we wouldn't be afraid of me...because I am not an adult...and I am not a scary person." Aya smiled at the boy. She was going to figure this out and this little boy was all the evidence they had.

Veran looked over to Jane and gave her a bit of a smirking smile. It was a look of reassurance. They would figure this out.

Edgar's eyes lit up happily as he stood up. "It's easy! You have to wear your favorie pajamas to bed and drink a whole glass a milk and brush your teeth! When you're ready to sleep, run to your wardrobe and knock on the door three times, and then say;" Edgar said as he cupped his hands together. " 'Mister Boogeyman sleep with me! Let us play, hide and seek!' "Edgar sang as he giggled and ran around to the nearest chair. "Then you have to hide so he can play hide and seek with you! I usually hide under the bed! When he finds you, if you tell him you're hungry, he'll take you to his house! It's so much fun!" Edgar said, his parents looking down at their child ever so worryingly. This...person, creature, whatever it was, had simply taken their child from their own home without them even hearing them. It was scary for all parents. Jane kept her stern expression at Veran. As much as she wanted to trust the Watchdog, they had an entire village of children that they had to bring back, and had no idea where they could possibly be at. Jane looked over at Aya. "Do you plan on being the bait for whatever this is? Dear goodness I hope we don't end up losing you too. That would not go well on my record at all." Jane said rather sarcastically. Edgar paused, looking at Aya and Veran from his 'hiding place'. "You aren't going to hurt him, are you?" Edgar asked, looking genuinely worried that they might end up harming his friend.

  • Author

"Alright! Thank you Edgar." Aya said, placing her hand on the boys head.

Aya looked to Jane and nodded, smirking. Sometimes the truth takes a sacrifice. Aya and Veran personally did not care if Jane's job was at stake, Aya only cared about her job being at stake.

Aya would not be lost, Veran would follow this creature and they would do whatever it takes to get the children back.

Edgar than came out of his hiding spot, asking them if they were going to hurt The Boogeyman.

Veran turned to the boy, looking down at him.

"We will not hurt him, Edgar." the demon said, surprisingly in a nice tone. That was a lie.

Veran and Aya went out of the room with Ms. Armstrong.

"We will do whatever it takes to get the children back, Jane. Even if it means killing the culprit." Veran looked to Jane, a little smirk on his face.

"I know I said to the boy I wouldn't hurt him...but sometimes you have to lie." he then turned to Aya, Aya looking at him and smiling.

"Do you have a place we could stay for the night? The 'Boogeyman' probably wouldn't take a kid from a hotel." Aya spoke up, making a pretty good point.

Jane nodded. She could not agree more. "Please. If it comes to it, allow me the honor to shoot the guy or gal or whoever is doing this." Jane said as she paused and looked over to Aya and Veran. "Well, we could use my house. I do live here after all, which is why I was assigned. I don't have a child's room but you can use my bedroom." Jane said as she crossed her arms, walking off. "I can pretend to be your mother, your butler can pretend to be your father, you will be our child." Jane said as she got her hands on her hips. "Come along then, I will allow you inside my home." Jane said as she walked off, taking Aya and Veran over to her family home. It was small yet cozy, without a front yard but with a backyard that led to a small pathway to the seashore a few minutes away. Inside was decorated modernly. It was definitely not a home of a family, full of boring decorations and everything in absolute order. "Let us prepare for whatever ritual you have to do. We can watch over you from the attic." Jane suggested as she pointed upwards.

Veran, and Aya alike almost burst out laughing. Veran pretend to be a husband? He doesn't even know how to comprehend love first hand. He learns from other people.

"You're home is rather nice...but good luck getting Veran to play the part of a husband." Aya let herself laugh.

Veran was instantly flustered, looking at Aya with a sharp look, shaking his head.

"He's not that bad though." Aya quickly backed up her statement.

"Edgar said The Boogeyman likes Chocolate Chip cookies...do you have the ingredients to make some?" Veran asked Jane, approaching her.

"Also...please refrain listening to Aya about how much I actually know about love. I know more than her, trust me." he smiled a bit.

"That's bull Veran and you know it~!" Aya called, she exploring around the house.

"She may work for the Queen, but she is a trouble maker and still a kid." he sighed.

Jane pointed at the kitchen. "The kitchen is yours." Jane said as she looked over at Veran, listening to him speak about how much of an expect her was in love. "...that sounds fantastic. But start acting like a dad and make those cookies would you? We have until sundown. This man only appears at night." She said as she watched Aya explore her home. "Her being childish is perfect. That means she will attract the Bogeyman easily." Jane said as she walked over to a shelf. She opened it to demonstrate multiple types of weapons, from swords to guns. "I'll get our weapons ready."

  • Author

Before he went off to the kitchen, Veran pulled two guns from his belt, handing them to Jane, then pulling Aya's pistol and handing it over as well.

"These are our guns. I'll keep the knives on me." he waved off to Jane, entering the kitchen, it took a little looking, but he managed to find the ingredients for chocolate chip cookies, and boy when he started cooking, you could smell it throughout the small house.

Aya walked down from the stairs, finding Jane with their weapons.

"So...you're only here by yourself. I would have thought a successful woman like you would be married at least." she walked near Ms. Armstrong.

"Even though I am successful, there is someone I care about." Aya kind of muttered that. She wasn't talking about Veran, no, she was talking about Samael of course.

Jane began to load up all of the guns. "Well, I had one fiancé, but be ended up getting eaten by a pack of wolves. I had a good friend from childhood. But he got ran over by horses." Jane said as she got some pistols on her hips. "I'll find someone eventually. But right now my only concern is to solve this crime. Good job on the cookies, Veran. They smell great." Jane said as she closed the compartment. "The basement should give us a look up the bedroom. If there is any emergency we should be able to shoot at the enemy from beneath the floorboards. We do want to avoid to kill him before he tells us where the kids are." Jane added, kicking over a carpet to show the door to the basement.

Aya listened into Jane's explanation on why she didn't have a husband. Maybe if she wasn't so reckless she would be with someone.

"Maybe you shouldn't be so reckless...Ms. Armstrong." Aya smiled at Jane, walking into the kitchen.

"The cookies will be done in a while. Don't eat all of them." Veran warned Aya.

Aya nodded, looking into the oven.

"There is another way to finding the children, and capturing the culprit." Veran was beginning to wash the utensils he used to make the cookies.

"We let me get kidnapped." Aya spoke up.

"You're always good at being the bait." Veran threw in, Aya ignoring him.

"It would be much easier." Aya looked to Jane.

"Would that be okay? Veran could help you follow us. He is very fast." She asked.

Jane listened to Aya, and simply shrugged. "If you think that would help us, be my guest. If you trust your butler that much, then I lay my trust on him as well." Jane said as she closed the closet, hanging a few guns around her waist, including a Winchester model. "Recklessness comes with the job, sadly. Sometimes you simply have to act first and think later if you want the work done. Otherwise it will keep escaping and you won't get the same chance twice." Jane explained as she walked over and picked one cookie up, taking a bite out of it. "Very good, mister Veran. I'm sure whoever is after teh children will come running right in once he tastes one of these." Jane said playfully as she walked off to the bedroom. "I have some nightgowns you can borrow, lady Aya. You know, to look more childish or something. Like you are actually preparing to go to bed." Jane went on. The sun was setting, and soon night would cover the land, creative the perfect hunting ground for the one known as the Boogeyman.

"I trust him with what I can. I probably shouldn't though." Aya followed Jane into the kitchen, taking a cookie for herself and sitting down to eat it.

"Lady Armstrong, you are allowed to just call me Veran." Veran called to her as she was walking out.

Aya giggled, laughing at Veran's helpless attempt at 'being romantic'. He probably got this idea from Lazarus and Wulfric.

The two walked to the bedroom with Jane, Aya finishing up her cookie.

"It seems like I'm almost always in someone else's night clothes." She sighed to herself, looking over to Veran.

"I'll help you change." he commented, letting Jane leave as Veran began to help Aya change into a nightgown.

"Ms. Armstrong seems nice...hopefully she actually is nice." Aya kept her voice down, Veran buttoning the soft nightgown up.

"She could still be a threat though." Veran reminded, placing his hands on Aya's shoulders.

The nightgown was long sleeved, and was a tad too big.

"You're still such a child." The demon sighed, taking a moment to let himself embrace his master.

"I'm not a kid or a hug toy Veran." Aya informed in a rather rude tone, Veran letting her go and opening the door.

"We are done. Aya is going to study her German to help her get to sleep." Veran informed, pulling a small dictionary from his coat pocket and handing it to Aya.

"Awee...you're no fun Veran." Aya complaint, lying back on the bed.

-later that night-
As Aya lay in the bed, Jane and Veran hid in the basement, looking up at the room through the floorboards, trying to hear anything suspicious to see when would this Boogeyman would show up. It had been hours, and was almost around three in the morning, but eventually, he, or beter to say, it showed up. The closet door opened gently from the inside, someone stepping out from it. Jane got her fingers to her lips and pointed upwards, looking and listening as the intruder showed up. The Boogeyman walked across the room, his steps echoing across the wooden floor. He wore a black cloak, and an animal skull over his face, much like the pictre that the child had drawn earlier. He walked past Aya, picking up one cookie from the plate. He sniffed it and then took a bite out of it. It seemed that he liked it, because he ended up shoving the rest into his mouth, eating a mouthful while making a slight mess of crumbs on the floor. He wiped his mouth, licking his lips from the chocolate goodness before paying attention to the child on the bed. He tilted his head, reaching out to gently touch Aya's hair, tracing it carefully as if to admire it. "...do you wish to play hide and seek?" The Boogeyman asked, his voice raspy and somewhat unnatural. To hear it suddenly would cause anyone a good scare. "Or do you wish to come home with me?"
