Biography- Aya lost her virginity at the age of 10 years old to her father's brother, Charles. Due to her parent's work, her mother running a clothing line and her father working for the Queen, they were completely unaware.
Aya was continuously sexually abused by her uncle's hand, and too scared to speak up about it. It only grew worse when Aya's mother died due to fever.
After Viscount Alexander Everus was killed, Uncle Charles insisted he was chosen as the new watchdog. The Queen refused, for Charles was a second born. Uncle Charles was furious, and Aya was thrown out into the streets.
A brothel picked Aya up, however she at first did not know that they were not only a brothel, but ALSO a cult. They were against the Queen, and held interest in black magic. After Charles happened to step into the brothel one day, he informed the owner that Aya was an Everus.
They instantly treated Aya like slum, making her work for them as a prostitute. This happened on her 15th birthday. Charles started working for the brothel, and made Aya's life hell. That is when she made her decision. She wished things were like back then, before her abuse. Aya "accidentally" summoned something she would regret for the rest of her life, using the black magic of the cult. She summoned the high demon, "Veran Sterben".

Minerva tensed up as Aya opened the wooden box. Inside were the remains of what could only be an infant. It was apparent that the child had been in it for a very long while, as there was no skin left to rot. The ever so delicate skeleton was still curled up in position as it had been settled once before. There was no injury, and the child had either died of starvation of oxygen or of hunger. It was merely a day old. Stuck to the roof of the box's lid was another message, this time as part of the game that Samael had sent them on. It read; 'First treasure down, just a few more to go.This one sits in a bed of marble, innocent and clean. Be careful of what you touch, however, or water will drown it!'. Minerva pursed her lips. "Evarus, think about this through. This man is obviously trying to get us to kill each other! This is nothing but a mad en devour! We should find a way out of here and call the police!" Minerva insisted. "What have you done, Minerva?" Andrew asked, Jaquelin holding onto her husband. "Hush it! This is none of your concern!" Minerva insisted. Raphael and Seraphine slowly stepped away, the two of them running off, apparently to find their own treasures...or secrets.

  • Author

"Veran, after the others. Now." Aya commanded, she knew that one of these "treasures" had to be something about her and she didn't want anyone finding that treasure.

She was weary about the bones, taking the note from the back of the lid and then throwing the box on the ground.

"I do believe this would be yours...Minerva." she said, leaning back and re reading the note.

Marble...clean...water...bathtub.

"There is no use of trying to escape here. Pandora set us up. I personally don't know why he invited me though, because eventually I will bring his game to the end." Aya folded up the letter again.

"Good luck." She said, casually walking out of the kitchen to go catch up with Veran.

"And where do you think you're going, scurrying off like rats?" Veran inquired with a dark voice to the guests who tried to flee. He held them in place by simply pinching the tips of their collars, deeming it unworthy for a butler's aesthetics to touch nobility. "I'm sorry, but my master has given the order to prevent you from leaving." Pausing for a few seconds, allowing Aya to catch up with them, he added with false concern, "We have murderers on the loose, wouldn't it be imperative to stay together~?"

Edited by Yukiteru Amano

Raphael and Seraphine shrieked in surprise. How the actual hell did this man manage to catch up with them so fast?! "Are you kidding me?! Did you see what just happened back there?! I'm not going to stay here and wait for some spoiled brat to come up with something that will ruin my career!" Raphael hissed at Veran, waving a fist at his face. Seraphine began to sniffle. "I just want to sit in a corner and wait for the game to be over!" Seraphine insisted to the butler. "I bet that the brat's hiding in his room, which is the only place we aren't allowed to look for! You surely want to see what else he's hiding, wouldn't you?!" Raphael insisted to Veran. Meanwhile Andrew followed up to Aya. "Miss, we really should try to find a way out..." He insisted. Minerva couldn't help but to purse her lips. She had worked so hard to hide this secret. If this were to get out she would be ruined, and expelled from the society she belonged by right. It had been a year. Why did this had to come up now? Just when everything was looking up to her...she wouldn't have it. Taking a glance of a gleaming kitchen utensil, desperation ruled within her body, picking up the kitchen knife before turning to Aya's back. "I can't let you...I won't let you ruin everything I've built!" Minerva shrieked, running straight at Aya with knife at hand.

"It's none of my concern as to what you would like to do if Lady Aya says otherwise." Veran replied to Raphael and Seraphine, uninterested in their excuses. Narrowing his eyes while turning to Minerva, he appeared right in front of her, ripping the knife from her hand as he squeezed her neck, lifting her off the ground with a cold, apathetic expression. "It's quite amusing how humans are willing to pull down others for their own sake." He mocked, tightening his grip. "I'm sure the young lady would pardon me for accidentally being too rough, right?" Holding her there for a few seconds, he glared at her with an intent to kill even greater than hers before ending her life, tossing Minerva into a corner.

"Shall I take care of the others as well, milady?" Veran asked while staring at the two other nobles, smirking.

  • Author

Aya sighed as Veran mercilessly strangled Minerva.

"Dirty dog." She mocked at her demonic butler.

Aya looked over at Raphael and Seraphine.

"I advise you not to go to Pandora's room. You know how an Earls bedroom is off limits." She said seriously, turning to them.

"Dont go to the Earl's room unless to want to end up like Lady Minerva." She warned.

Minerva's body was tossed in a corner like a rag doll, much to the dismay of the guests. Seraphine screamed in utter horror as Raphael took a step back, his eyes widening as he began to analyze the situation. There was no way a human could have possibly done that. There was no way. "What are you..." Raphael muttered as he glared at Aya. "You aren't human. What the hell are you?" Raphael asked. Seraphine began to sob. "What the hell is going on here?!" She screamed, to which Raphael grabbed her and growled. "Snap out of it! You'll get us killed!" Raphael hissed. But Seraphine wouldn't have it, pushing Raphael away and running for her life down the hall. Raphael pursed his lips and glared back at Aya and Veran. "You two are with this kid, aren't you?! You're part of this sick game!" Raphael accused. However just as he was about to call Andrew...he noticed he was gone. Most likely trying to look for his wife around the manor...Jacqueline wondered around the house, using the wall to lead herself around. "The least Lord Pandora could have done was to turn on the lights. I can't see at all." Jackqueline murmured, until she finally stumbled upon a large window, the curtains closed. "Hm? Maybe if I..." Jackqueline murmured, swooping the curtains open to let the moonlight in. However as she did she didn't notice the flower pot next to small end table, and her arm smacked it out of its place, smashing into the floor. She gasped. "Oh no!" She murmured, kneeling down to try to clean some of it up...only to find among the dirt a golden bow stuck to what seemed to be a notebook. She gently picked it up, brushing the dirt away as she saw it was a large notebook, filled with papers and such. "A treasure?"

"There is no way I am apart of this game, I am just as clueless as you." Aya defended herself, sighing.

"Veran we caused enough trouble, lets keep moving." she demanded, grabbing her butler's arm.

"Will you lead the way?" she asked politely, not taking her eyes off of Raphael and Seraphine.

(I AM DISTRACTED, SHORT POST)

"Of course, Lady Aya." Veran replied, letting her hold onto him as he led the way out of the kitchen. Together, they went off for the bathroom, searching for the marble that was stated in the earlier clue.

Seraphine and Raphael glanced at each other and then at Andrew, who simply shook his head in horror. The three had no idea what to do. They were stuck inside of a mansion with no apparent way out. Worse; they were stuck along with a spoiled brat and her psychopathic butler, at least that's how they saw it. "What do we do?! That butler is insane!" Seraphine whispered. "We just have to go along with this stupid game and finish it, then we can get a hold of the authorities." Raphael whispered back. The three nodded and o they followed the lady and her servant around to one of the many bathrooms, specifically the grand one where Samael would take his baths. The room wasn't very big, the floor was of polished white marble with a rather large bathtub that stood out, sitting in the middle, in front of it a large window pane that allowed a beautiful view of the property which took over 90% of a wall, velvet curtains tied to the side. The claw bathtub was gilded golden on the bottom and on its sides, counter tops lined with soaps, oils, and herbs of all kinds for any type of bath that the master might be feeling for the day. Inside the bathtub laid a rather simple looking item; a quill with the sharp end of it tainted red, ontop the infamous golden ribbon.

  • Author

Personally, Aya did not like the fact that these people were following her. She knew that they were probably onto her, especially after the incident with Veran a little bit ago.

The bathroom was beautiful, she had to admit. The window made it all complete. Just imagine how beautiful it would look during the day.

"Well this room is a little extravagant..." she muttered, making her way over to the bathtub.

"At least it isn't as bad as the last one." Aya sighed, picking the "treasure" up and handing it to Veran.

Unimpressed with the bathroom, Veran inspected the quill before showing it to the nobles who had followed them. "Does this look familiar?" He asked, waiting for reactions.

Raphael and Seraphine pretty much held each other more out of fear than out of compassion for the other. Andrew just watched with the image of Lady Minerva in his mind. Veran wasn't human. He couldn't be, but the what was he? Veran brought the attention to the quill, and Andrew let out a small gasp, gaining the attention of the other two. "That's my wife's quill!" Andrew said, walking closer. "I gave it to her years ago as an engagement gift. It even has her initials engraved...is this blood?!" Andrew screamed, looking at the quill with wide eyes. Fear suddenly filled his heart, what would have happened to get blood upon the quill? "Well obviously the kid has us being played on puppet strings! For all we know he already got your wife like Veran here got Minerva..." Raphael murmured, Andrew glaring back at him. "How dare you make such accusations, let alone suggestions?!" Andrew hissed, obviously angry that someone would try to dash his hopes of his wife being alright. "You should watch your damn tongue!" A new voice said, all heads turning to the door as Jacqueline walked in. "My love!" Andrew said happily, hurrying over to his beloved wife. However Jacqueline didn't seem to be in the mood for any hugs or friendly encounters. Her eyes were daggering straight to Raphael. "You are an excuse of a man, how dare you call what you do a business?! This is nothing but mere crime!" Jacqueline yelled, about to run over to Raphael had Andrew not stopped her. "Jacqueline what are you going on about?" Andrew asked confused. Jacqueline took out the notebook she had found and threw it on the ground, having it land in the middle so everyone could see. Raphael's eyes widened, and then slowly sharpened. "Where the hell did you got that?!" Raphael asked. "As you can see by the bow, it was one of the hidden presents we had to look for." Jacqueline said as she faced the group and pointed at Raphael. "This man is a crook! The notebook is in his handwriting and what is worse," Jacqueline gritted her teeth. "He isn't a business man at all. He has been in charge of an illegal underaged prostitution ring!" Jacqueline screamed. Indeed, the notebook was filled with both names of participants and how much money was made with each transaction...

  • Author

Illegal Underaged Prostitution Rings was all Aya needed to hear.

Aya suddenly pulled her gun, aiming it straight at Raphael.

"You must have known my uncle then. I will not name names...but anyone having to be behind prostitution will not get passed me." Aya hissed.

She knew what she had gone through and nobody else should have gone through the suffering.

"London really is hell, isn't it Veran?" She asked her butler, cocking it towards Raphael.

"You've hit a nerve. How long have you been doing this to children sir?"

Raphael was pissed, to say the least. Not only was his secret business out in the open in front of a couple of aristocrats that were of much higher status than him, but now the apparent emotionally unstable child had a gun pointed straight at him. Seraphine was quick to move away from the man, who simply looked around he room rather annoyed. "...why does it matter so badly?" Raphael began, sighing as he took a few steps forward. "People live and die all the time in different parts of the world all over. Some are born into wealth while others are born into poverty. Some are born healthy while others are born sick. Does this mean that us, people who were blessed to be born in such a grand state of life, must slow down because of them? I don't think so." Raphael explained as he scoffed. "I've been doing it for years, and damn you if I don't continue until I retire. Don't you see how much I'm helping everyone this way?" He smirked ever so slightly. "They don't have money, so they don't have homes nor food to eat. So they loiter around the streets, contaminating the beautiful cities that we call home. So, I pick them up and make deals. They do what they do with whoever is up for it, and they gain a share, and I gain a share, and everyone benefits The kids get food, gifts and many other things from their clients, and I get my money, and the clients get their satisfaction, AND I help clean up the streets from orphans and urchins...don't you see how much I'm actually helping, Lady Evarus? If anything...I'm helping London become a much better place, one day a time."

"Really." Veran scoffed, incredulous at the man's logic. "You know, I was originally planning on defusing the situation for my master's sake, but if you insist..." Tightening his gloves, he looked down Aya, knowing there would only be one conclusion. "Would you like to, or shall I?"

  • Author

"Some or born into wealth and fall into poverty." Aya said, taking a deep breath before pulling her trigger, firing upon Raphael.

She hoped it hit too.

Aya didn't look, she turned her head immediately away and to Veran.

"Forgive me everyone..." she said rather quietly, clutching onto Veran's arm, as she was shaking.

Veran hugged Aya softly, letting her press against him. Caressing her hair gently, he looked down at his young master. "It'll be alright, my lady. I'll be here for you, you'll never be alone anymore." They stood like that silently for a few seconds, comfortable in each other's warmth before Veran suddenly widened his eyes. As a demon, he could sense the presence of humans and other creatures. Turning his eyes sharply to Jacqueline, he felt two entities in that single spot.

"You're emitting quite an unholy aura, Lady Jacqueline."

Needless to say, Aya had one hell of an aim, either by practice or by luck, as the bullets hit Raphael right on his chest, across his ribcage and right on his neck, where the most important veins of the body resided. He could barely gasp for breath as he stepped back, and fell onto the floor. Splashes of blood barely tainted lady Seraphine, who screamed in utter horror as she watched the marble flooring become covered in crimson red. Jacqueline seemed rather satisfied that such monster was put to an end, however, it wasn’t over. She gasped as Veran began to accuse her. “Excuse you?” Jacqueline asked. Andrew quickly stepped in. “What are you saying?! My wife is innocent of any wrong doing! He even helped discover what Raphael had been doing, no?!” Andrew asked. Now he was fearful. So far they had two dead, and now they were aiming for his one and only wife. What if they wanted to kill her too, out of hysteria? “Leave my wife out of this!” Andrew insisted. “How are you so sure that she’s so innocent, Andrew?! Didn’t you just confirmed that one of the clues was your wife’s quill?! What about the blood on it?!” Seraphine asked, now just out of worry and fear than out of concern. She just wanted to get out of this dammed place alive. Andrew paused, looking down at the quill in his hand, and slowly turning to his wife with a wary smile. “Surely this isn’t blood, right? It must be ink of some sort, or maybe some paint?” Andrew asked. Jacqueline stood quiet. Andrew frowned, his eyes widening in fear. “Jacqueline?” “He promised me that it would allow me to have children.” Jacqueline suddenly answered, glancing up at her husband. “For years we’ve tried and never been able to have any, so he told me that he would allow me to have one as part of a deal!” Jacqueline insisted. Andrew shook his head confused. “What the hell are you talking about, who is HE?” “The…” Jacqueline paused. “The spirit that came to visit me…we made a contract…that’s why I signed with the pen…”

  • Author

Aya didn't bother to look at the body of Raphael, but instead turned to Jacqueline.

She'd signed a contract. However this contract must have not been the same as Veran and Aya's contract.

Aya brushed her hand over Veran's right palm, looking at it for a second before then turning to Jacqueline.

"W-What do you mean, Ms. Jacqueline...?" She asked.

Aya approached Jacqueline slowly, a little nervous, inspecting her for any seal.

If it was a higher demon, they would have marked her somewhere rather visible. There was no seal to be seen however.

"Every contract comes with a price, Jacqueline. What did you pay?" Aya asked nervously, starting to back up to Veran again.

This wasn't a being like Aya knew.

If Aya was nervous, then everyone had a reason to be nervous. Andrew held his wife's hand softly. "Jacqueline, what have you done?! What price did you pay?!" Andrew asked. Jacqueline began to shake. "She said that I would only have to give my blood. I didn't think much of it. I just wanted us to have a child so badly, my love." Jacqueline said, tears falling down her cheek. "I didn't hurt anyone. I swear. I just made a deal, for us to have a child." She insisted. "Jacqueline-!" Andrew had no idea where to begin with this. However at the presence and questioning of Aya, just a few moments later, a pain wrecking across Jacqueline's body like no other. It felt as if every bone in her body was simultaneously being broken into pieces. She screamed, hunching over in pain as she held her stomach. Andrew held his wife, keeping her from collapsing. "Jacqueline?! Jacqueline what's wrong?!" Andrew asked. "T-The pain...!!!" Jacqueline gasped. "H...Her stomach!" Seraphine screamed in horror. Jacqueline's stomach suddenly started to grow, rapidly, expanding, becoming ever so larger by every passing second. Everyone in the room watched in absolute horror as there was a sight of...something trying to push its way outside of Jacqueline. Jacqueline screamed in absolute pain, Andrew unable to do anything but to hold his wife in shock.

WARNING! GORE!

Suddenly, the sound of something breaking, and skin ripping echoed across the bathroom, as Jacqueline's stomach was ripped open, a claw ripping through her dress as blood began to spill out. Jacqueline stopped screaming, as her body arched backwards and the creature inside of her began to pull itself out. It was the size of a child, just smaller than Aya's height. It landed on the floor, covered head to toe in Jacqueline's blood. The lady herself lay on the floor dead, killed by the pain and blood loss in seconds.

Andrew couldn't help but to scream in horror, as the creature frowned at Veran. "Look what you did. For once I thought I'd be able to be born inside a human body!" The creature said. It was an Imp, a much, much lesser demon.

Blood stained the ground once more, splatters darkening the red on Aya's dress. Her gun dropped to the floor, Aya in pure terror.

She gagged, the event occurring right in front of her eyes. She vomit, fear overtook her.

Aya had never seen so much blood. It was traumatizing, horrible.

She quickly back away to Veran, staring at the Imp and wiping her face.

"W-What are you...?" She asked, her voice a tremor.

"Veran did nothing!" Aya yelled, looking to her demon.

The demon scoffed. "I'm an Imp. A lesser demon. Had your big demon not said a word about my presence I would have gone off to be born as a human!" The small Imp insisted. She looked down at the dead Jacqueline. "My goal was to enter a human womb, and be born with a mortal body. But as you might know it's not that simple. I have to gain permission from a human to enter the damn womb. So, when I found this woman, I found my chance...until you ruined it!" The Imp complained. Andrew was in tears, looking down at his unmoving wife, Seraphine simply fainting in horror. The Imp pursed her lips. "This isn't fair. I didn't bother any of you guys. So why did you had to get in the way? So annoying." The Imp growled. It was all business. Had Jacqueline died the Imp gave no care. The only thing she regretted was that she wasn't able to reach her goal in time. Of course, Jacqueline didn't know that she was agreeing to try to give birth to an Imp in the shape of a human body. But it wasn't fair either. "Well...since you guys have some game to play around here I should go..." The Imp began. She knew that she stood no chance against a demon like Veran...so she certainly hoped to just sneak away and aim for the next victim.

Veran scowled at the demon's halfhearted attempt at escaping. "Please avert your eyes, Lady Aya. I'll make this swift."

In an instant, he rushed toward the demon, slicing her left hip sharply with his hand before standing with his back against hers. Barely lowering his eyes down towards her, he sneered mercilessly. "Traumatizing my master like that, especially at such a young age. Did you really think I'd let you escape?" Before the imp could even react to his words, Veran drove his hand through her right hip, completing the cut by slicing her in half cleanly. Walking slowly to her upper half, he stomped the imp's head, putting an end to her devious plots.

Removing his soiled jacket, he folded it in his arms while storing his blood-stained gloves in the pockets before returning to Aya. He was about to wrap his arms around her, but stopped at the last second, considering her trauma from the earlier demon. "...you've been quite strong today, m'lady. The night is almost over, you can leave everything to me if you give the order."

Aya averted her eyes as ordered, slowly opening them as Veran made his way back.

She looked at his face for a second before just outright slapping him.

"There was blood on your face. Demon." Aya sighed, rubbing it on her dress.

The dress was ruined anyways and Andrew had probably already figured the fact Veran was what he was already.

"Dont be so messy..." she muttered, looking towards Veran's hand, his contract seal visible.

Aya sighed, pulling her eye patch off, shaking her head to show her eye.

"Ah, your fate has been decided, Andrew..." she sighed.
