It's just been a week we have started 2016, and Square Enix announced that Kingdom Hearts Unchained χ will be out in both Japanese and English version for iOS and Adroid.

 

For those who are playing Unchained, the game is by only single save file and does not require any logins.

 

So, let's say when the English version comes out some time this year..

 

Can you use your save file from the Japanese version on the English version? Or you can't because it's in different languages?

I would assume not since you've playing on a Japanese server and when UX comes out in English, it's going to be on English servers. I'm not saying it isn't possible for Square to transfer save files, but it's highly unlikely.

I don't think you can because of languages.

Doubt they'd put in the effort.  It's possible but not very likely.

So I guess you get to experience the joys of khuχ for a second time, eh?

Highly unlikely, haven;'t seen a square game yet that doesn't have separate servers and therefore entirely separate save files.  It also wouldn't make sense at all since the JP version is going to be at minimum 6 months ahead in content, you can't transfer a save that has content that hasn't come out yet to a platform that doesn't have it....  Otherwise that top KH2 Kairi medal you have will turn into Missingno.
