So I was just rewatching HIMYM and I came across this scene.I couldn't get the whole thing so I'll just tell/remind you what lead up to this speech.Basically Ted Mosby is telling his kids in the future about a particularly lonely night he once had at the bar. He tells his kids that if he could go back 20 years in time he would do a bunch of things differently, but before doing any of that he would run straight to where his future wife used to live and then give this speech:
This moment feels so much more emotional when you realize that, according to the finale, Tracey Mosby is dead by the time Ted is telling his kids this story and that's why he wanted to go back and spend so much as 45 seconds with her if it meant he could just see her again ;~:
