TV Twin peaks to receive new season after 25 years.

Don't know if there are any twin peaks fans here but the cult hit horror show from the 80's is making a surprise return in 2016-17, most of the original cast are coming back. Interestingly in the shows conclusion, a spirit in his mind said she would see him again in 25 years so it could have been in director david lynch's mind to continue the show 25 years later.

I am (a Twin Peaks fan I mean)!

I've already heard about this and I'm really looking forward to it... Twin Peaks is probably my favorite TV series of all time. I should probably rewatch it before the new series starts.

I don't really think the 25 year break was intentional but it sure fits so well.

possibly, but I think agent cooper would agree not to completely disregard the possibility : p same, I watched it for the first time about two months ago and I was just blown away, hopefully this will live up to the original.

yea i remember hearing about this news a couple of years ago, funnily enough right after i finished the series lol

talk about good timing. 

and i love how Laura told Coop she'd see him in 25 years and it just so happens to now work out. probably not intentional but that really lends itself well to Twin Peaks. can't wait to see the new episodes. glad David Lynch is being able to make them how he wants. once an official date for the series comes out i'll definitely rewatch the series. great show.
