I dunno if anyone else has noticed this, but has anyone noticed that lately things have been VERY slow in the rp section?

Like, I remember at one point I'd leave KH13 for like two seconds and I'd have like 20 notifications when I come back. Now I'm just like waiting forever and then going OMG when I see a notification only to see that it's some stupid shit like someone replying to my status from like 3 years ago.

I don't mind it, I mean, people obviously have their lives to attend to and I myself get busy too. I've just noticed that some rpers don't come on anymore or as often and the rp section isn't that active.

Considering it is winter, people are obviously going back to school so that's probably it too! It's funny, I remember back in 2010 most of us were in like middle school/ high school and now we're working, in college, or in the last years of high school. It's kinda crazy and sad at the same time!

I dunno, I'm always gonna be here even when I'm 50. I stuck around for 6 years so why am I gonna leave now?

That being said, I hope all y'all rpers and non rpers here on the site have fun and are doing well in your lives! Hopefully soon there's gonna be more activity too!

PM me with anything you have in mind! Just recently I got into Marvelous Ladybug and Cat Noir. I was actually going to type sign ups for an rp based on that for the future! (I literally have like 1000000 sign ups that I didn't even do yet omg)

Interestingly I have noticed a similar slow period, but it seems that this happens periodically and it might not be anything too abnormal?  I'm still seeing the majority of the same faces within the RP section, but I'm speaking for the past year and a half that I've been actively RPing and not beforehand.  I have noticed that these same roleplayers are not posting as frequently, and many aren't participating in as many RPs as they used to.  One conclusion that I've drawn might be this: most of the RPers in the section have been at it for years, and all of us have gotten older.  With age comes a lot more duties and responsibilities, and it could very well be that the original crew of roleplayers are just finding themselves too preoccupied with life to be able to RP effectively.  That has almost been the case for me, even though I love roleplaying and don't want to give it up.  Around winter break and the Christmas season things were a bit more lively, so hopefully they pick up again soon!

The RP section usually picks back up in activity in at least June, doesn't it?

But yeah. It is very slow this time of year. I want to still contribute as well. I already have an interest check that I'm gonna post later today.

The sad part is that the interest check contains original rp ideas...
