I made this because I admired the style of the anime, "One Piece", and how it can transition from arc to endless arc and slowly approach the "final event". Well, just as the name entails, this thread is an "Open World" idea where you all create the story that leads into the final story!

 

Here's how it works

----------------------------

- The overall theme is Fantasy (because I love it so much) with a starting time period similar to the Seven Deadly Sins anime (Medieval) (Abilities and magic are included).

 

- Role-players submit summary of an arc idea to add to the story-line. I'll accept 4-5 for this role-play, each leading to the "final story".

 

- The Role-Players are in complete control of his/her own arc, but I will announce whose arc is first and next.

 

- Also, according to the Utopia Building System, each character that completes this role-play gets saved and can be used for any "Advanced" level role-play in the future.

 

- If you're interested, just fill out a sign-up sheet and/or private message me a summary of your arc.

Personality: Miji-Chan acts very innocent, using her cute facial features and traits to her advantage whenever she wishes to. In addition to her innocence, she is also mischievous, hoping to cause trouble whenever she feels bored. She likes to be eventful most of the time just to have something happen, or in other words, action. She can somewhat lazy, greedy, and desires a "soul-mate" to "play" with. She can be easily angered and quick to show jealousy.

Bio: Not much is known about Mujakina. No one, not even her, knows about her origins or where she came from. All that's know about her is being raised in an orphanage, having 3-7 Fox tails, fox ears, and her ability to shapeshift. And her mischievous nature is spread and well known around her town. But Miji-Chan has one the hearts of the residents despite the trouble she causes thanks to her innocence and cuteness.

He rarely smile, because yes, he was expresionless. The only things he like, was eatung

Personality: Friendly, patient, determined, creative, intelligent, and calm at best. Ruthless, cold, manipulative, and unforgiving at worst.

Bio: Taria was raised by her uncle Mekore Adair, a traveling scholar and powerful Mage. She started learning Magic from him at the age of two, and loved traveling and learning new things. The two were very close, and he was her father in all but blood. Unfortunately, Mekore was not without enemies, and was murdered when Taria was fifteen. Angry and torn apart at the death of her mentor, the young Mage took to her uncle's books as she traveled, vowing to return to the city when she had gained the power to destroy the ones who had taken him from her.

Genetic Trait: Soul Shield- A shield of glowing blue spiritual energy that can be used by the Caster to protect objects or persons not including themselves from harm. Although the shield absorbs all damage, it is extremely difficult to maintain and saps the users spiritual energy. The only Mages recorded to have been able to use this spell are Mekore Adaire and his grandfather, so it is assumed to be hereditary.

Magic/Abilities: As a trained Mage, Taria can use the basic forms of most Magic, but specializes in Wind and Ice.

Weapon(s): Her Staff, which is used mainly as a focus point for more difficult, detailed Spells that she has yet to master, such as Healing and Effect Spells (Speed, Guard, and Strength).

Extra: When Taria is working on something, she focuses in on it and tends to get a bit scatterbrained about everything else. She avoids using her last name when possible, as her uncle was fairly well known and she is trying to avoid attention.

Appearance:

 

Personality: Lars has a leader type of personality (though he doesn't like to volunteer for it). He is more of a free-spirit, which is most of the reason why he's so clumsy. However, he does have a serious side when situations call for it.

Bio: Not much is remembered from Lars' childhood. He really only remembers his best friend, Diana, who mysteriously disappeared for some strange reason. At the age of 14. Lars found himself traversing the land for answers to his past. He stumbled upon a retired sword-master who taught Lars the way of the bushido and the sword (The swordsmaster's name is Opium). Lars became an astute swordsman and fighter, leaving his master at 16 (before finishing his training), and continued his adventure. He has currently stopped in a town to get some things for his next adventure.

Genetic Trait: Seeker's Eye - A mysterious power that has taken over Lars' left eye. He keeps it under a bandage.

Magic/Abilities: Lightning: Takeover - Lars can enhance an object, or even himself, with lightning.

Weapon(s): Dual Spellswords - A mana-enhanced katana that can withstand magic enhancements (material made from mithril).

Extra: Pasu wa Satori: Lars' main fighting style with the sword. The name was dedicated to his path to find himself and sword mastery.

Oh! And I think there's some confusion with genetic traits in the sign-up sheet.

 

Genetic traits are special abilities that characters are born with, or acquire gradually. 

 

For example one could have the ability to "get stronger at a faster rate", enhanced reflexes, or like my character having the "Seeker's Eye"

Quick question, can Taria's bag have a charm on it to allow it to hold things that are larger than it is (within reason, of course)? I figured it would be fine since this is a world where magic is common, but I thought it would be a good idea to check.

Like a magic wallet right? mmm... You could.. But at the same time, you're gonna have to trade a starting ability/magic for now.. See, there's a lot of detail with your character  - the basic forms of magic but specialty in wind & ice, a staff for more difficult spells, and a soul shield genetic trait.. And a magic wallet added to that would be too much for a starting character in my opinion.

 

So you could acquire it later on in the RP or start with it by trading an ability/magic/item (you could acquire the traded ability/magic/item later on in the RP)

Personality: In a word: stoic. From birth he was raised to show no fear, and to keep his emotions under check. Even his emotions were to be used against dragons. He always keeps calm under pressure, and would rarely flinch. But when he gets angry... he doesn't just get angry, he gets furious. 

Bio: Henrik was left as a baby on the steps of the Dragonslayer's Guild. Around his neck was a pendant, which had a symbol of a dragon's claw upon in. The guild took it as a sign, and raised the baby as one of their own. He was taught from an early age all that must be known to hunt dragons, and to live a normal life. And he would have stayed with the guild until the next dragon attack, if it weren't for one certain incident... he doesn't like to talk about it, but a fellow member of the guild insulted him severely... they came to blows, and by the end of it, Henrik was expelled from the guild for his temper, to be accepted back if he could prove he could keep it under control.

 

Genetic Trait: Aspect of the Dragon: He was born with a certain... vision, that the guild leaders recognized as being The Eye of the Dragon: Allowing him to see things from further away than a normal human eye could.

Magic/Abilities: Pyromancy: Yes, as weird as this sounds, there were two ways to combat a dragon. The first: With Dragon's Fire, one of the most powerful fire magics... accessible only to those who had proven themselves worthy to the guild. Currently, all Henrik can do is lob a few fireballs; they hurt, but aren't intended to kill.

Weapon(s): The other way to fight a dragon: The simple bow and arrow, which Henrik had equipped. They were not flashy, but he had more than enough arrows to last him for a while, and his Eye of the Dragon enhanced his ability to use it.

 

Extra: He's surprisingly huggy. For someone trained not to show even the slightest emotion, he hugs... a lot of people, once he gets to know them.
