So I was doing a little research on Shounen Manga and I came across something surprising in my eyes.

 

Astro Boy...Was the first popular animated show in Japan and is the cause of the beloved entertainment we know now as Anime... Wow. So...This robot...Was the start of it all. If Astro Boy did not exist, we wouldn't have Anime at all. It surprises me because I didn't know much about him, Truth be told, but I never thought this guy started it all.

 

Astro Boy is Origin of Anime. And that...I am happy about.

 

Now all I need to do is find a way to watch those episodes.

Yeah. It's true. I did a paper on the origin of anime. It took place around one of the World Wars we already had. If I can recall the research I found, artists that makes manga comics were forced to make propaganda comics...

All I know is, he can fly, he's a Cyborg created by a man named Doctor Tenma, and that his Japanese name is translated to Mighty Atom. I only ever saw the Opening of Astro Boy once, though. He's sort of like Mega Man in some ways, being a robot who was meant to be in place of their creator's son. The Mega Man cartoon (Anime?) had some back story to Dr. Light's reasoning for building Mega Man, too.

Well, I've never watched the show. But I know Astro Boy has a movie. 

Okay, so I have been researching more about Astro Boy and here's what I found out...

 

He has an incredible range of hearing (x1000)

He can shoot lasers from his index fingers

He can even shoot lasers from his hips (in animation, from his...rear)

And can even light it up with his eyes.

 

But the most interesting thing about Astro Boy is that he has 100,000 to 1,000,000 horsepower in strength...

 

Now...This guy is freakin' powerful. But with that much horsepower...Could he be able to rival against a DBZ character or even...Saitama?
