Infinite World (Roleplay Thread)

Posted

Here's how it works

----------------------------

- The overall theme is Fantasy (because I love it so much) with a starting time period similar to the Seven Deadly Sins anime (Medieval) (Abilities and magic are included).

- Role-players submit summary of an arc idea to add to the story-line. I'll accept 4-5 for this role-play, each leading to the "final story".

- The Role-Players are in complete control of his/her own arc, but I will announce whose arc is first and next.

- Also, according to the Utopia Building System, each character that completes this role-play gets saved and can be used for any "Advanced" level role-play in the future.

- If you're interested, just fill out a sign-up sheet and/or private message me a summary of your arc.

Rules

-------------------------------

- No Godmodding

- No player-killing without the player's permission

- Romance allowed, but not too much.

- All KH rules apply!

- Put Infinite Limits at the end of your Character sheet to show that you've read everything.

- If I forgot any rules, I'll probably add them sometime today.

Alright Here We GO!

INTRODUCTION

-------------------------

(Let's find a way to meet up at Spellstone Village guys)

"Hmph. I thought you claimed this one as your strongest spellsword," Lars said as he stared at the broken blade while sitting on a bandit. He was traveling on the road from a near-by town when he was attacked by a group of bandits who claimed their spellswords as "authentic". Though the battle was short-lived, Lars made sure he enjoyed it... partially. "Well, whatever," Lars got up and dropped the broken blade on the ground and started stretching his arms. "You'll.. You'll pay for this!!" The bandits screeched as they took off in the other direction. "Hey now, you guys were the ones who attacked me," Lars sighed. Anyway, the village was in sight. A smirk found its way across Lars' face. "Spellstone Village, the place rumored to have many secrets," Lars said to himself. This is where he might be able to find that secret he had so desperately searched for. He, once again, began trudging in the direction of the village.

The Mage nodded at the fox girl's answer, wondering when they would reach the book store. Her guide looked rather hungry, she noted.

"Is there anywhere you would like to stop for a snack on the way?" She had (taken) borrowed a (everything he had been carrying) bit of money from the Dark Mage she had attacked earlier, and sold his staff too, so it wouldn't be an issue.

For the first time today, Miji-Chan faced Taria...And smiled brightly. She jumped on her head rather playfully. She giggled and laid there on her head. "You're the first one that has made Miji-Chan smile today." She said. Maybe this Mage wasn't too bad. She didn't complain, didn't annoy her. She could actually be fun!

"Mmm.. Information brokers you say?" Jeoff repeated Lars' request. While the two were talking to each other about the magic items in the store, Lars managed to sneak the topic in somewhere. "Yes. There's something I need to know," Lars continued. Jeoff contemplated it and stroked his beard for a short while. "Well, you know, conversations about the secrets of this village and stuff are illegal. But you seem like a nice guy Lars," Jeoff cleared his throat and got closer to Lars. "There's a bartender who works in a bar not too far away from here around this time. Go to Boar's Cafe and ask for Eagle Ferrigatte. When you see him tell him "The godsword." He knows what that means," Jeoff said. "The godsword...?" Lars looked a little bit confused but nodded anyway. "Thanks for your help!" Lars said and dashed out of the store. Boar's cafe and Bar was in view already. "Huh, so that old guy knows his stuff!" Lars shouted.

Taria smiled back at Miji-Chan as she looked around for a food store, finally settling on a small sandwich shop. There wasn't much that couldn't be put on a sandwich, although she had only put pasta on a sandwich twice. Pasta was perfection, it was better off on its own. Still, the fox girl should be able to find something she liked over there. "What about that sandwich shop over there, Miji-Chan?" The Mage indicated the store with a pointed finger.

Miji-Chan shrugged. Personally, she didn't care what she ate. As long as it was good to actually eat. But nonetheless, the five-tailed fox girl nodded. "Anything that Miji-Chan can eat." She responded.

Taria bounced as she walked up to the sandwich vendor, looking over his products. There was no pasta sandwich, she noted with a frown, but there was mozzarella tomato basil. Miji-Chan had said she didn't care, and you could never go wrong with that, so...

"Hello sir! We would like two mozzarella tomato basil sandwiches, please!" She waited while the man wrapped the food up.

"Would you like a bag?"

"No thanks!"

She handed the man the correct number of coins before heading back to the fox girl and handing her the sandwich, before unwrapping her own and taking a small bite. She smiled. It wasn't pasta, but the sandwich maker was quite skilled.

Miji-Chan immediately took the wrapped sandwich and unwrapped it. Her stomach grumbled one more time. "FOOOOOOD!!" She yelled out. The fox-girl then took her first bite in her sandwich...Then bit the entire thing into her mouth, chewed it, swallowed it, and licked her lips happily. "Mmm! Miji-Chan likes!" She said smiling brightly. So far, this day was going pretty well. Got revenge on the guy who woke her, met up with her aunt, made a new friend. Yeah. Life was good right now.

The green haired girl watched in fascination as the sandwich quickly disappeared. She tore hers in half and handed the untouched half to the fox girl before taking another bite and continuing to walk. Miji-Chan was quite interesting, she decided. It was a pity that Taria wouldn't be able to get to know her better. She couldn't get such a nice person dragged into this mess, her conscience would murder her. Still... No. She continued to scan the shops in front of them, looking for a good book store.

Lars opened the door to Boar's Cafe and Bar only to find what looked like a bunch of thugs and pirates gathered there. Lars ignored their blatant stares and sat on a stool at the bar area. In little to no time at all, a server came to take his order. "Hello, Eagle Ferrigate at your service," the boy said with a smile. He looked no older than Lars. Lars wasted no time in what he wanted. However, his haste became his downfall.  "The godsword," He accidentally said out loud. The bustling and neutral atmosphere suddenly turned silent and aggressive as the thugs and pirates stood up and surrounded both Eagle and Lars.

"I'm taking you two into custody," one of the "thugs" stepped forward. "Michael Reeves, Captain of the Anonymous 6. I am placing the both of you under arrest under the suspicion of treason against the government."

"Treason??" Lars asked. Suddenly, he remembered what Jeoff told him about attempting to find the secrets behind the village. So that keyword must've been a huge secret, Lars thought. The thugs armed themselves with swords, knives, staves, and the like. Eagle put a glass he was cleaning down. "Ah... Mr.. I mean Captian Reeves. This seems to be one big misunderstanding.. haha," Lars began to explain. Just then, Eagle flipped over the bar, igniting his left leg on fire. "Holy Sword: Flamberge," Eagle said on landing. "A Chevalier!?" Captain Reeves questioned in surprise. "Firewall!" Eagle shouted and stomped the ground. The ground around both Lars and Eagle lit up and gave way to a wall of fire that surrounded the two like a ring. "We're already under arrest. They're not going to listen to you," Eagle said to Lars.

"Seize them!" Captain Reeves shouted. The soldiers disguised as thugs charged at the firewall with magic-resistant weapons and shields. Lars unsheathed his two swords and jumped towards the ceiling, slicing it, and landing on the roof. "Come on Eagle!" Lars shouted. Eagle jumped onto the roof through the falling debris. "We need to get out of here," Lars said. Lars spotted Taria and Miji-Chan walking together in the distance eating. Wish I could eat right now, Lars thought.

As Miji-Chan accepted her half of Taria's sandwich, she bit more slowly this time. About like a normal person. As she walked with Taria while eating, she was really liking her. She offered her food, was kind to her, gave her food...Then more food. Yeah. She was getting attached to her.

As she ate, she looked at the boy who woke her up this morning. "Look. It's that boy again." The fox-girl said, pointing at him. "Miji-Chan never knew he had swords. And Miji-Chan likes swords." She then climbed on Taria's back and pointed at that sword wielding boy. "Let's go see what he's doing."

Taria sighed Miji-Chan climbed up on her back, and obediently followed in the direction the two boys had run off in, walking at a slightly faster pace and taking another bite of her sandwich. This was not going to end well. She had been trying to be inconspicuous, not get involved with someone who appeared to be actively provoking the establishment. 'Dang it uncle,' she though with an upward glance, 'you are giving me all your bad habits!' Ah, whatever, she wasn't entirely good with the government either. They just didn't know it.

"I'm not going to get to visit the book store, am I?"

Lars clashed swords with an officer, kicking him down into the hole he created from the bar. "First an ambush, next a weird fox-girl clings to me, now I'm an enemy of the government. What a day," Lars said and sighed. "You've been through it," Eagle laughed as he finished off his opponent. "Yeah." Lars looked behind him seeing more government officials making their way towards the bar. "And it looks like I can't stay here either." Lars finished. He jumped down the roof, only to meet Taria and Miji-Chan at the bottom. "Looks like I've got into a bit of trouble.. heh, heh," Lars attempted to lighten the situation a little.

Miji-Chan climbed on top of Taria's head. "Not with Miji-Chan around." She responded to Taria's question. As Lars greeted them down, Miji-Chan scoffed at him and closed her eyes. "Of course you did. Baka." She said bluntly. Just how stupid was this guy? He's only been there for at least 3-5 minutes and a fire was started.

Baka.

"That's the quickest Miji-Chan has seen a fire start." She said while jumping down from Taria's head. "Let Miji-Chan guess. You said the secret word out-loud, didn't you Baka?"

"Something like that..." Lars trailed off. Eagle hopped down and rested his arms behind his head. The sounds of military boots shook the ground near the group. The government officials were closing in fast. "Anyway. We need to get out of here." Lars replied pointing to a near-by alley.

Taria resisted the urge to tilt her head in confusion. It wouldn't do to dislodge her passenger. But, secret word? Why would a word cause such a reaction from the guards, unless they were using some sort of rebel code or nonsense. That didn't seem logical, though, no one would do something like that in a place where the guards could hear... If she was joining this mess, she was demanding an explanation, but it could wait. For now, the green haired girl simply took another bite of her sandwich and ran toward the alley that the swordsman had indicated.

The sound of battle.. He had a hard time believing to hear the sound of sword tackling each other. 2 human were ganked by a group of government.

"They'll need help" Zero said to himself.

He paced himself to an alley near them, preparing his Pyrokinesis ability

"Go here" He said to one of the 2 human

(My bad guys, the past few weeks have been busy)

Lars looked at the random individual who told him "Go here". "Go where?" He then looked around to see a crevice or pathway they could possible escape through. No luck. Well, at least they were not too far from whence they came. Lars looked up. "Guys, we can travel from the rooftops," Lars told the group. There followed, was a shot pause. "Well, that could work. However, the government's troops aren't stupid. They'd have the place locked down in minutes. Plus, the captain of the Anonymous 6 is here. I don't think we'll make it out without a few broken arms and legs," Eagle replied. "It's our only option," Lars said. The ground forces flooded into town and were soon to cover every inch within minutes.

Miji-Chan sighed and peaked out. "This wouldn't have happened if you were smart, Baka." The fox-girl said. "Miji-Chan will do you this one favor. but then you owe Miji-Chan." She then walks the ally and places her hands on the many bricks on the wall. She kept touching and pressing until one red brick made a hole appear on the ground. "Miji-Chan uses this way to get out of trouble. If you want to live, jump in." Mujikuna then jumped in the hole, going who knows where.

After the group went inside the alley, Zero stopped at the front of the alley to lure the government's troops away from them.

"That way! The group is going there!" He pointed toward the other road.

The troops were rallying toward another way, while zero pacing himself toward the alley while shouting "the troops were gone!"

'Well,' Taria thought to herself as she ducked into Miji-Chan's tunnel, 'there goes the last few years of preparation. Now we're all wanted criminals.' Which was ok, really, except she could no longer afford to dump minor offenders into the courts, she would have to find a way to take care of them on her own. And she couldn't go into towns without a great disguise. Ah well. The brunette swordsman was shouting at the guards behind them, but she rather doubted that they would abandon searching this area so easily. Still, a tunnel was a better position than most as they would only have to guard one entrance.... Unless the guards found the other end. Then they were dead.

"So," Taria whispered to Miji-Chan, "Where are we going?"

"Somewhere outside of this place. Miji-Chan mostly uses this tunnel only to get out of trouble, just so people can cool off. Then Miji-Chan heads back." The fox-girl said while walking through the dark tunnel. The rocky surface and occasional drips of water did not make her flinch. She was rather use to it. "Look for stairs. Wooden stairs." She said next.

Lars and Eagle followed not far after Miji-Chan and Taria. "Wooden stairs..." Lars trailed off. The guard's voices had gotten louder from the entrance. "Where'd they go?" One of the guards asked another. "Ahh. Looks like our unidentified "hero" attracted more guards to this area with his shouting," Eagle sighed. "Let's keep looking," Lars said to the rest of the group as they continued walking. Though, it seemed like someone was bound to find Miji-Chan's hiding spot sooner or later.

Taria nodded as she followed the blonde swordsman's urges forward, speeding up slightly as the other boy pointed out that they would have company soon. Another drop of water fell on her head, and she watched in fascination as it slowly slid down her nose. Where could all this water be coming from? She couldn't remember if it had rained recently... Remembering the sandwich in her hand the Mage took another small bite before whispering again.

"About how close are we?" Her hand tightened around her staff as she glanced back behind them.

"Dunno," Lars replied. Even he had no idea of where they were going. Drips of water dropped from the ceiling of the path they traversed. "Water?" Lars was confused. Where was the water coming from?

After a few minutes of walking, the group had come to a stopping point. They approached a door which led to some unknown area. "Looks like we hit the end of the path," Lars said. "Freeze," a voice behind the group shouted. It was Captain Reeves himself! "Don't move another step or I'll blast all five of you into kingdom come!" Captain Reeves outstretched his hand, ready to cast a spell.

"Now, if all of you come quietly, I can drop SOME of your charges," Captain Reeves chuckled.

"You know," Taria thought out loud as she lifted her staff, "I still have no clue what's going on here, but judging by the way you attacked blondie and pyro earlier, I'm guessing our sentence is death even with overlooked charges." A misty white and blue light culminated on the end of the staff as the Mage prepared an ice spell to counter whatever attack the captain might unleash. This particular spell was an ineffective attack as it's power was spread over a wide range, but he had said 'blast you into kingdom come,' so fire spell was a pretty safe bet. Ice wouldn't stand long against fire, it would melt, but it would absorb a lot of energy in doing so, and hopefully that with a bit of water at the end would nullify most of the effects.

"I'm collecting a favor for this later, blondie," she informed the swordsman. Well, it was his fault they were all wanted criminals now, so Taria thought it was fair.
