Help Wanted: LEGO Rock Raiders Start-Up Problem!

So, I installed the game, "LEGO Rock Raiders" on my Windows 7 Computer.  I added the "d3drm.dll" to the game files since it complained about it missing.  I tried to launch it, yet that is when everything goes wrong.

 

When it asks if I want to start the game, I click "YES".  My screen goes black like the game is about to start.  Then, there is this white flash before the screen jumps back to my desktop.

 

Does anyone have any clue(s) as to why this is happening?  How do I fix this problem?  Thank You So Very Much!!
