I have been searching on Internet but I could find no proper answer. Do the skills level up depending on how many times they trigger or depends on the amount of lux you gather by using them or is it something else entirely? 

 

Any ideas?

I don't know exactly, mine just always randomly level up as I'm playing.

Mine seemed to level up more often in bosses, but it could very well be from both triggering the skill and the amount of lux gathered.

Amount of lux gathered is a big influence, so naturally, raid bosses tend to level up the skills rather quickly.

Hmmm I see. If only there was a way to check how close we are to lvl up skills.
