I'm not sure how many people have played and enjoyed Monster Hunter, but I have an idea for an RP, as I have nothing else to do.

 

I will also allow people who are not familiar with the Monster Hunter series to join.

At times like these, I really wish I have played the Monster Hunter games, but I know only of Konchus and their ridiculous actions.  For instance:

 

 

I'll try my best to read up on this lovely series before joining, but you've garnered my interest.  What's the basic setting of the RP?  Random adventurers confront big baddies in a ragtag, divers group?  Are folks competing or surviving?  I'd love to hear what you've compiled.

ROFLMAO! Very true with those gosh darn annoying Konchus!Regarding the RP, I plan for it to be a survival co-op RP, much like it is in the games. The setting takes place in a city, named Folutina, which has been attacked by an unusually powerful Alatreon. In order for the city to defend itself from a future attack, the leaders hire hunters of all ranks to help defend the city from monsters that are getting too close, while the citizens rebuild it, and create a arena that holds a Dragonator (a huge spear-like weapon that is lodged into a wall, and quickly protrudes out when someone pushes a button. This weapon is used mostly on Elder Dragons). The main goal of the RP's story is to prepare for a future attack from the Alatreon, and then slay it when it does. This is what I have come up with.
