How does friend shared medal STR work? (KHUx)

Posted

Just wondering if there is anyone who knows how the strength of a friend's shared medal works when viewed by other people in the party.

My party as been thinking about this a lot and we considered level, friend's own keyblade boost, etc.

If you have the math to know that would be nice to see as well

Thank you!

I'm pretty certain that whatever strength your medal is at right now (minus the boosts you may get from the slot you place it in for your Keyblade) is the strength your party members will see your shared medal as.

I've been wondering this as well! You can look at a friend's medal on their player card and see that the strength value is different (less) than the value when you actually borrow it. I wonder why. :|?

I've been wondering about this too..

It definitely tiers based on how much strength and/or levels your current Keyblade has, but I can't figure out the specific equation for it. I'd ask the wiki, seems like something they might want to try calculating.

Each Keyblade has a multiplier for its "sixth slot", but it doesn't matter what the attribute of the medal is. The multiplier goes up with the Keyblade's level, and Starlight has the highest multipliers and so is best for using Friend Medals.
