Posted June 25, 20169 yr Hi guys, a newbie here and I've got quite a few questions. So I read a few guides about making a stronger medals by fusing the same type of medals together. Currently I have two 3*Valor Form Sora and another two 4*Valor Form Sora medals. If I were to fuse them, should I start fusing the 3* ones first then evolve it to 4* so I can fuse it alongside with the rest of the 4*? Ooorr... Should I just evolve all the 3* into 4* immediately then just fuse them all together afterwards? Another question would be should I max ALL of their level first? D:
June 25, 20169 yr you can fuse the 3 stars together, then evolve the one new medal to 4 star. When you fuse the previously melded medal with a non fused medal, it will add 2 dots to the upgrade
June 25, 20169 yr Author you can fuse the 3 stars together, then evolve the one new medal to 4 star. When you fuse the previously melded medal with a non fused medal, it will add 2 dots to the upgrade Ah okay, also I assume this fusion is done through the same way you fused to level up medals yeah? Just wanna make sure I'm doing it right haha.
June 25, 20169 yr Medals have maximum times you can fuse the same medals together to be of use. 3✮ medals have a single orb slot so fuse one other 3✮ of the same medals to this medal before evolving it to 4✮ 4✮ medals have 2 orb slots so you can fuse 2 other 4✮ of the same medals to this medal before evolving to 5✮ 5✮ medals have 3 orb slots so you can fuse 3 other 5✮ of the same medals to this medal before evolving to 6✮ 6✮ medals have 5 orb slots so you can fuse 5 other 6✮ of the same medals to this medal before activating the Special Attack bonus (Or 'Guilt') There is no point fusing the same 1✮ medals together or 2✮ medals together since they offer no multiplier to damage except for increasing exp And lastly, if you've filled a slot/orb for a medal, it will carry over when you evolve it up to the next example: A 3✮ Sora Version A has 1 orb slot filled When you level this medal to 4✮ a 4 star medal will normally have 2 slots but one was already filled because you filled it during its time as 3✮ medal. Also, fusing 2 medals with 1 slot filled will result in a medal with 3 slots filled Example 1: You fuse two 5✮ Sora Version A, each has 1 slot filled you end up with a 5✮ Sora Version A with all three orb slots filled Example 2: You fuse two 4✮ Sora Version A, each has 1 slot filled you end up with a 4✮ Sora Version A with all two orb slots filled. Why 2 and not 3? Its because 4✮ medals only have a maximum of 2 orb slots. It not as complicated as it sounds, best way to learn is to just try it and you'll understand Edited June 25, 20169 yr by catmaster0116

Thanks for the detailed guide! I assume you don't have to max their level before the fusion?
June 25, 20169 yr Woah neat! Thanks for the detailed guide! I assume you don't have to max their level before the fusion? Nope, fuse anytime you want I always fuse them the moment I can anyway You only need to max out the level when you want to evolve the medal to the next ✮ Edited June 25, 20169 yr by catmaster0116

I think they explain it around event 350 (im only at 314) but is that extra special attack from melding after you fill up all 5 orbs on a 6*?

D: Evolve what you can to begin with, but keep in mind that each medal on it's own will fill one slot on the special attack bangle when fused. But not only that, if it's an already fused medal, fusing it to another will bring those other medals as well. So if you have 2 3-stars that means they'll both have one slot available, so if you fuse two of them you'll have that one level taken care of, then you only have to evolve one 3-star. Once you get it to 4-star they'll have two slots available, but one will already be filled, leaving only one open. Now theoretically you could just fuse the original two 4-stars together and then fill up the last slot with the new 4-star, but if you level them both up to 5-stars you could fill out all three slots and have a max level 5-star. It's not as powerful as a 6-star, but it's certainly a good compromise when dealing with Keyblade cost. In any case, it doesn't exactly matter at what level you fuse medals together, but it certainly helps to keep higher levels in mind.
