I've been smitten with the franchise for almost 4 years now, and...well, that's all I got. Just wanted to introduce myself. Also wanted to point out that I am technically still new to the franchise as I just started playing the games about a year ago and I would greatly appreciate any advice you can give on how I can make the most of my interactive experience with the characters, the story and the worlds.

Great to meet you . Welcome to KH13. There is a Kingdom Hearts Manga that covers KH1, COM, Days and 95% of KH2 (It ends before the final boss) that you could always read. You could watch more Disney movies too I guess.

 

The story is really really convoluted in honesty, there are ultimanias that you could read to enhance your view on plot points. Oh and if you do watch youtubers, here' are some very good videos to do with the series.

 

 

Oh and Soralaam1's channel has a lot of quality kingdom hearts content, mainly focusing on gameplay.

There's also a youtuber called HMK who makes a lot of theories on the KH universe and covers news. But every KH youtuber gets their news from here, so this place will usually have the news first.

 

Oh and I don't recommend playing Kingdom Hearts 2 on the 2.5 HD Remix because it's full of glitches that were not present in the original. That won't do much for your experience of KH2, I'd say to play the PS2 version first.

 

If you want to get really involved in the community, I'd say to download Unchained Chi since it's a multiplayer game . People on here have made parties that you could always join (I would invite you to mine, but I don't play the game.)

Hey there, welcome to the site!  We're always glad to welcome another Kingdom Hearts fan into our ranks! I'm glad to know that you've invested yourself into the series!

 

So, you say that you're still getting acquainted with the games, right?  Well, I suggest that you get 1.5 and 2.5 HD Remix for the PS3, as those two compilations contain most of the KH games in just two CD's!  You could also play the original versions too, in the end, the choice is really up to you! Play the games, and I guarantee you'll gain a deeper appreciation for the story, the characters, the lore, the gameplay, and the overall essence of what makes Kingdom Hearts great, ya know? You could also always delve into other aspects of Kingdom Hearts via manga, KH Youtubers and so on! The important thing is that you get your know-how on the series, ya know?

 

Also, to those people who tell you not to play the non numbered games, don't listen to them!  By playing both the numbered and non numbered games, you'll be enjoying quite the intricate and intriguing story that is the Xehanort Saga! The non numbered games are important, so be sure to play them, or at least watch playthroughs of them on Youtube!
